Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Overstrand

Excellent accommodation over looking the river with a pub/restaurant within 100m. Local walks to exercise or look at the local nature. Ideal accommodation to fit our family in and a great place to relax or travel to local attractions. Emma was great providing us with all the useful information you would otherwise have to research yourself. All the space was spot on and the hot Tub was fantastic to relax in either day or night. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great few days here in the Easter Holidays, and this has probably been one of our favourite airbnbs that we’ve stayed at. The accommodation was lovely, light, airy and very clean. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms were nice. The garden was also quite large with a great view and imagine it would be a nice place to spend time in warmer weather. Location was also great being fairly close to the coast and various attractions as well as having Fakenham only 10 minutes drive away with various supermarkets. Julia was a very responsive host with any messages and we appreciated the cookies and the kids appreciated the sweets that were left out. Overall would highly recommend and would definitely visit again

Our second relaxing three day break in this lovely little cottage. All nice & clean & well presented with a great little log burner making it feel very cosy. Rebecca allowed us to bring our dates forward (fortunately cottage was available) as the weather was going to be better & with two labs, made it easier . The location is perfect for walking the dogs along the sea wall opposite & a nice friendly pub five minutes walk away with good food.

Lovely quirky house in a perfect position for Norfolk coast. Walk to the abbey perfect for dog walks. House has everything we needed. Summer house perfect for sundowners, curling up reading books and playing cards with our kids.

We had a great stay at Frances’s house. The house is very spacious and beautifully appointed. We did a lot of sightseeing but it was so nice coming back to the house in the afternoons as it felt like home. Burnham Market which is very close to Thorpe has an excellent butcher and deli where we bought supplies for our evening meals. We had a truly wonderful, restful stay and would consider coming back in the future. Thank you Frances. Paulina

Amazing. Despite less than balmy weather, we all had a fantastic time. Twelve of us between 7 and 72 including 2 fifteen year old girls. Abbey House is house is huge and has sufficient shower/bathing facilities for each couple to have their own space. The annex is a real little gem. The games room so well equipped we were all able to enjoy the space together. We even had a yoga class for several of our party there! This was a long delayed 70th Birthday celebration , plus two 40th's, and a 50th in the intervening time. it worked beautifully. Our seven year wants to know when we can all go back together. The weekend is up there with my best memories.

We had a lovely stay in this quirky, characterful house. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. There was easy on-street parking. The really good thing was that the owner went above and beyond to sort out an issue we had. Many thanks for that David. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Just returned from a 4 night New Year break with my family (2 adults and 4 children). We had a very enjoyable time. The location of the property was fantastic, very central and everything in 5/10 min walking distance. The property itself was spot on, plenty of space, very clean, well-equipped kitchen and it was lovely that the Xmas decorations were still up! Kathryn was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. She also made us aware of a few minor problems beforehand that really didn’t impact us at all but it was great to have that info upfront. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we definitely would stay here again when visiting Cromer.

I have stayed at the cottage a few times now and it always delivers. Ben keeps his properties in pristine condition and ensures a warm welcome. when we arrived on a cold night the log burner had been lit so it was literally a very warm welcome. Ben the owner as usual checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory then leaves you to enjoy your break. However, if you do need anything or have any questions he is really responsive. As stated I have stayed here multiple times and can highly recommend the properties and Ben as a host.

Wonderful stay for some much needed head space. Kate was wonderful and so helpful. Communication was so easy and nothing was too much trouble. I loved waking early every morning to watch the sun rise with a cuppa. Great for the soul.

Lime tree was amazing, great location for taking dogs for a walk, hot tub was really nice and warm for a relaxing evening. Suzanne was very friendly and helpful, Will definitely recommend to friends and family. 5*

A last minute bookng but a gem of a find. The appartment is tucked just behind the main shopping and eating area and just a few steps from the harbour- couldn't be better. Kate was super helpful and friendly when we arrived and easy to communicate with if we had questions. Welcome milk , tea and biscuits was a lovely addition. The place was beautifully decorated and struck a good balance between personal/ homely space and a rental. Love the library space! There are limited cooking facilities which we knew and was not a problem at all as there are too many nice places to eat out! Would definitely reccomend and would book again .

Lovely flat with a very homely feel. Perfect base for a long weekend exploring the North Norfolk coast. Ver accessible for my husband, who cannot walk far.

Absolutely brilliant stay here. Me and my husband needed to stay for a few nights in Norwich due to nearby hospital visits. This one stood out as being close to where we needed to be, close to the city centre (about 10 mins walk) and was very reasonably priced. The property is in an area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby but far enough out of the centre to be really quiet and peaceful. It truly was so relaxing. The place is even better than the photos. It’s really large inside and the high ceilings make it appear so spacious and uncluttered. We will definitely return to the property when coming to the city in the future. Ps The parking really was a rare bonus too!

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

The house was the perfect spot for my friends Hen Party. Such a spacious house so none of the guests felt on top of one another. Imogen had lots of recommendations of suppliers to use so we used a private chef and cocktail masterclass host from the books which were fantastic. The location of the house is right on the coast which was lovely especially when the sunshine came out. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of household products (i.e. toilet roll, bin bags etc). One of the best experiences we have had staying at someone’s rental, thanks so much for having us! X

Lovely place the setting was gorgeous we all had a fabulous time thankyou so much for mum& dads hamper that you left us ! The hot tub was just right all in all was a lovely break for us all & the dogs loved it aswell!

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.
