We recently stayed at this charming and spacious converted schoolhouse in West Brome, QC, and it was a fantastic experience for our family. The home beautifully blends historic character with modern comforts, offering a unique and cozy atmosphere. The high ceilings, large windows, and original architectural details give the space a warm and inviting feel. The house was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding area is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for a quiet getaway while still being close to local attractions. Michel is an attentive and welcoming host, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a charming retreat in the Eastern Townships. We’d love to return in the future!

Amazing! One of the best Airbnbs that we’ve stayed in. The home was beautiful and spacious. Each detail seemed carefully thought out. From the décor, comfortable beds and linens to the treats waiting for us when we arrived. The house was equipped with everything you might need for your stay. And conveniently located -- just a short walk and you can access two different trails! We and another family had plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. The hot tub was a nice treat after a long day of skiing. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Maryse and David!

My husband and I loved our stay here! The cabin is perfect for a couple. It is less than 10 minutes into the town center of Sutton and less than 15 minutes away from Mount Sutton. The cabin was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the cottage for two nights on an ice fishing trip. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The cottage has lots of amenities like a wood fire place and hot tub, everything was clean and felt very homey. Marie-Josée quickly responded to messages and gave plenty of clear information for check in and check out. We highly recommend this place!!

Great place to stay for a ski trip at Sutton. Very close to Sutton ski resort. Great light in the house. All you need for you stay is there. If you intend to use the fireplace make sure you bring you own wood. Same for cooking, bring all the ingredient, spices, oils, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Warm and welcoming home surrounded by open and serene nature. Loved our stay, wish we could stay longer. Long drive was worth it despite the winter storm. Only suggestion- house number was not visible due to the massive snow banks and it took a while to find the house which sits at the end of a Long driveway. We arrived after the sunset and not much was visible. Once in the house- it was lovely, warm and welcoming. We will go back. Skiing was great.

The cottage was very large and met our needs well. There were 15 of us and it was perfect as a place. The environment is quiet and intimate. The cottage includes interesting amenities for a stay with friends. Would highly recommend! We'll go back for sure!

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. Sandra’s place was as described with beautiful surroundings. It was located on Lac Brôme a little ways away from the closest town, but very easy to find. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. We had some difficulty with our car rental the first evening we were supposed to be there and Sandra offered to leave lights on and have the place warm for us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to arrive until the next day, but I appreciate Sandra’s responsiveness to our situation. Just one bit of information if you do rent - the beds upstairs are infinitely more comfortable than the one on the main floor.

Great stay! A beautiful little cabin well set up with a wood stove that works very well and lots of wood in case of extreme cold. Both beds are comfy with plenty of blankets to keep warm. Beautiful snowy spaces with a small peaceful forest full of deer at the end. Super peaceful and relaxing. We'll go back for sure! Thanks 🙏

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Quaint farmhouse in the middle of the mountains, gorgeous fall foliage, nice surrounding town. We visited the Vermont Apple Orchards about 25 minutes away and that was fun! We also walked up along the road/trail and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. One take-away from the experience is the significant amount of lady bugs/insects we encountered not only directly outside of the house, but inside the house. They were everywhere: particularly, along the walls, on the ceiling, in the shower, flying over our heads as we sat on the couch or bed. Was a bummer that we had to take 30 minutes out of each day to sweep away the insects/lady bugs in order to enjoy our peace and quiet. We asked the host about this and his property manager answered that it is what it is in this case, though I recommend perhaps working on the infrastructure of the home to better mitigate this issue.

Very well equipped cottage, nothing is missing. Tastefully decorated. Great location to go play in Mont Orford Park.

Great place where we had a superb stay. Close to owl head mountain and had lots of kitchen supplies to use. Place was a cozy cottage that fits lots of people and is great for a ski weekend. There is a lovely bakery around the corner!

This was a good place for our extended family to spend a weekend. Beth was a fine host. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying in any Airbnb places again, since their leader has decided to align himself with our growing fascist government. There are other more democratic choices.

This was our first time staying at Rose’s place. We have stayed at another place nearby so we had high expectations and it exceeded them. This place is so clean. It is very cozy. We loved the location as it was easy to jump on the ski trail and get right to the lifts. We plan to be back!

We had a great stay, the house is spacious and quiet, with lots of amenities (we'd have to come back in a warmer period to take advantage of the deck and the swimming pool). We had lots of fun playing billiards, games, and going out hiking (Owl's Head trails within a few minutes drive). Mansonville, just 10 min drive, has a great bakery and coffee shop. Absolutely perfect, will come again!

This is a super place. We arrived to discover a gift bottle of wine, a nice touch. The place has high ceiling, is beautifully decorated, is perfectly stocked, and all around well managed. It's a walking distance to downtown, and a 12-min ride to the slopes of Mont Orford, a very good resort. We loved our stay and would definitely consider it again in the future.

This was our second time staying at Mike's house. It is so close to Jay Peak and is located in a nice neighborhood which invites for walks. The house has everything needed, our favorites are the fireplace and the the beautiful mountain view. We will be back!

Awesome spot to spend a few days with friends. The space is bigger than the photos make it seem. Tons of sunlight. Picturesque surroundings. As the hosts mention, the driveway needs an AWD in the winter — our car did not make it up but the emergency parking spot at the bottom of the drive is a very short walk away.

Wonderful space very close to Jay peak! Very private, interesting home with a great kitchen and comfortable living room. Owen was extremely responsive and helpful in getting to the chalet and was even able to get is a great deal on some lift tickets! the driveway was challenging to get to in a 2WD car, but we knew that coming in and can only blame the continual snowfall for that but overall would strongly recommend!
