Holiday houses in Oregon House

I cannot say enough kind words about my stay at this Airbnb in Nevada City. I messaged late in the evening to see if they had availability for that evening and taylor worked with me so that I could come by in the next few hours and save the week. The space was cozier than the photos even allow. It’s such a short walk from all of the lights of downtown. The bed was comfortable. The bathtub is amazing and watching the projector by the fireplace was one of my favorite things to do every day. When I had an issue, it was fixed within minutes! It had so many cute little touches in a lovely tiny library. I hope to be back soon!

We had such a wonderful stay at Clare's home. The hosue is comfortable and the pool was perfect for beating the summer heat! The door to the pool is off the family rooom area but it is easily closable for keeping young kids away from teh pool if needed. The house is tastefully decorated with some homey additions like books and toys. We found it difficult to choose where to sit-- outside on the front porch or our by the pool lounge area. Although the house is not close enough to town to walk the location is very central and wooded. The view out the back is really wonderful. This is a great place for a family or anyone looking for an authentic Nevada City stay. Highly recommend!

Big and interesting house! Lovely deers around!

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

Paul's stylish cabin in the woods is just that, very stylish with pleasing art and decor throughout. The well stocked kitchen has a large refrigerator/ freezer for all your provisions, the gas stove is a joy to cook on, and the kitchen itself is very well stocked with cookware, cooking oil, salt, coffee, sugar etc. The beds are comfortable, with one firm and one softer...which allows for some choice in the matter. Paul generously left a few treats for us on the table and in the fridge, TY! The cabin is beautifully situated in a wooded area about 15 mins drive from Nevada City. Tip: Wood burning stove available upon contract to reimburse host for any damage to floor. Paul will offer to sell you wood for a fair price.

Beautiful home, impeccably decorated. Perfect location to visit Victorian Christmas. Host extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. As mentioned in other reviews, and not repeated here, there are old house quirks, most notably the need for quick or cold showers. We would definitely stay again if we get lucky enough with availability which says it all!

We loved our stay in such cozy, clean, warm and peaceful place! Vicki and Shannon communicated proactively for all instruction and locations, while kept responsive during our stay. We felt so welcomed when we found the wine for us and the full rack of Kcups. Overall, it’s a nice place if you want a getaway!

Lucí was a great host! Very attentive. The space was perfect for our large group. The toiletries she had put were life savers as some of our group forgot a toothbrush or lotion. Would stay again!
