This is a one of a kind experience. Beautiful rustic charming stone house overlooking the mountains and valley. I peak stay on our trip to Portugal. Very relaxing. Amazing hikes in the area.

This was a really cute and nice place. It was as showed in the pictures, even a pooltable! The house is clean with a cozy fire place we used a lot because it was winter. The garden very beautiful and big. Though the outside area and pool is shared with another place on the same property, which was no problem for us but might should be taken into account. The surroundings are stunning, perfect for some peaceful time in nature.

the space is even better than the photos, rooms with bathroom on the first floor and on the second floor a unique space with everything you need to stay with your family, I hope to return soon.

Rogerio was a great host. He told us all about the area and the place is great as well. We loved the fire place when it got cold. He gave us welcome drinks when we arrive and made us feel really welcome.

The house exceeded expectations! Very comfortable, very well-equipped, excellent heating in the whole house, which makes it very welcoming. The fruit trees in the garden and orchard make the place even more charming. Our stay was spectacular.

Beautiful location, great views over the surrounding area. This is a stone cottage nestled in a property with several other small cottages. However, they’re all far enough away from one another that it feels isolated and private. There are lovely winding paths around the property that are well maintained for some short strolls. A lovely studio cottage. The kitchen is well enough equipped, with a microwave, toaster, stove, Nespresso machine + the requisite pots, pans and cutlery. There’s not so much in the local restaurant scene, so it’s a good idea to plan to cook some meals at the property. We really enjoyed our stay and felt refreshed by the peace, quiet and fresh air. Would stay again. Finally, Rogerio was very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home.

Lovely little apartment, the owners made me feel so welcome and everything I needed was there, from fresh oranges to firewood. Beautiful village and friendly locals, highly recommend.

Very spacious and pleasant apartment, a kitchen where everything is available for cooking if needed ( oven, dishwasher, washing machine. The bedding is comfortable. Everything is clean. Hiking departure possible from the accommodation, 10 minute walk to all amenities. Good location.

The house and the appartment are a lucky find. We used a rental car to get around and could explore Coimbra, countless castles and the inner parts of Portugal from in a unique way. Joanne and John make you feel right at home in their garden paradise, and the appartment has everything you need. Lamas is a small town, but perfect for a calm stay inside the real portugal.

From the first moment Peter was accessible and eager to help us see all the places that surrounded the village of Lousa. The house is fantastic and although it is a little old it has everything you need for the day to day especially with children. It is a plus especially the terrace with barbecue and pool, at night we felt super agusto surrounded by nature and without a single noise. The house is fresh and has children's games, a lot of fans, millions of things in the kitchen all you may need, and even baby high chair. It's a super quiet area but exploring the surrounding area is mandatory. Peter helps a lot in recommending cool places and restaurants to eat or breakfast. Back to safety

We spent two nights at Candal, at Laurinda's house. Couple with two children under 10 years old. They worshiped. Immeanement walking rails. A repeat experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing 2 weeks. Phil and Magdelena were able to quickly answer any problems and recommend local places to visit and eat out. The house itself was very clean, modern and comfortable, providing a perfect place to wind down

Great place for relaxing weekends in the nature

Very beautiful and organized place. In fact, it is necessary to take all the items of consumption (food and drink) as the local commerce is far away. The recommendations given by the host were clear in this regard. I recommend this place to enjoy days of peace and tranquility in a beautiful landscape!

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! The location was absolutely brilliant; miles of hiking trails from the door, 10 mins from a town to get supplies and complete peace and privacy in the Airbnb. The outside space is very large and fully enclosed, perfect for our two dogs. We were able to relax in the sun whilst looking at the donkey and pigs in the field next door. The hosts were wonderful; they delivered a very generous breakfast each morning, were very responsive to messages, and even invited us to walk around with them one evening to meet their rescue animals. I would love to go back later in the year with a group of the friends.
