Cabin holiday rentals in Old Forge

We stay in this beautiful house every year for our ski vacation, and we absolutely love it. The combination of comfort, stunning natural surroundings, and the owner’s warm hospitality makes it a truly special place. Every visit, we fall in love with the house all over again. Some of the highlights include the outdoor jacuzzi, the fantastic family room with air hockey and ping pong, and the walk to the lake. Altogether, it’s a perfect getaway, and we hope to return year after year.

Beautiful, decided cabin in the woods close to skiing, hiking, and nature. The hot tub and sauna were amazing after a cold day on the mountain. Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

The cabin was exactly as advertised had everything it said it did. Everything was very clean and worked, very cozy. The view was beautiful and the people in the town were very nice. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, there’s a recreation place right up the street with ice skating and other winter activities. Head to buttermilk falls a quick hike. Kyle was very quick to respond and helpful.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Great stay, will try to book again in summer or fall. only complaints I have is the railing on the second floor should be reworked to be child friendly. A child could fall right off the loft into the first floor. very peaceful and beautiful spot.

Our honeymoon stay was magical. The space was elegant and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered. The kitchen was a dream—immaculately clean, well-stocked, and equipped for every need, making meals effortless. The hosts’ attention to detail ensured a seamless, comfortable stay. Despite winter weather, the friendly staff kept everything accessible, promptly clearing snow and making us feel truly cared for. The surroundings were breathtaking, with serene, picturesque views that added to the charm. This was the perfect place to begin our new life together, combining luxury, warmth, and beauty. We’ll cherish these memories forever and can’t wait to return!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling. The cabin was clean and cozy. The location is great and directly on the trails. You can ride to multiple restaurants and get gas right around the corner. We would definitely stay again!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

We came to Mark & Patti’s cabin for a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. It was nothing short of amazing! It was accessible in the winter (plowed roads/driveway), had everything we needed for a comfortable winter stay. We couldn’t use the porch due to snow/ice, but that’s completely understandable in the wintertime conditions in the ADK. Access to internet/TV, and games made it fun. We wanted to be close to the ADK park and wild areas to explore, and this location provided the perfect locale to access trails and recreation. Also, the towns of Speculator and Wells have plenty of local shops and places to go in town. We visited Wilcox Lake Wild Forest to go snowshoeing, and there’s plenty more locations to visit to fish or hike. Mark & Patti made sure we couldn’t want for anything during our stay, were responsive and helpful, and were truly wonderful hosts. We hope to visit again in the future so we can kayak and enjoy the Floe during warmer months. :)

Our stay at Tiffany and Adam's cabin was the perfect destination for an anniversary weekend celebration! Tiffany was communicative, detail oriented and so sweet! We loved the serenity of the TR property, the white noise of the babbling creek and the cozy amenities of the cabin. Renting the sxs was a blast and was a great way to explore local trails as a family. An added bonus was having the flexibility to include our dog on vacation. We can't wait to return next year!!

Judy was very communicative, easy check-in and everything was as expected. We didn't really have any hiccups apart from extreme winter weather which was out of anyone's control. Even then there was a number for a plow guy on the fridge who came in 20 mins when we were snowed in to the driveway. Stunning taxidermy. I wouldn't call the kitchen very well equipped as some have said here, but definitely better than other airbnb's I've been too. Overall a great spot.

Kasey was a great host. we loved the place. Cozy and right in the middle of everything going on. Located on the north side of Tughill. Right down the road from Hook and Ladder and on the same main trail. had a great time snowmobiling and would definitely recommend this lovely little cabin. Great times!! Might even try a summer say.

The cabin was indeed cozy and quaint. Cool antique tools on the walls along with a few stuffed animals. Close proximity to beautiful Forest Park where we snowshoed. Osceola was great for cross country skiing. Tons of snow (yay!) and plow guy was quick to remove the snow. All in all- a great stay. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Rome, NY! The kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow, and the location was perfect for our daily trips to Woods Valley Ski Resort, which was just a short drive away. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt like the perfect winter retreat, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly spot close to great skiing!

We had the best stay! All we wanted to do was relax and that is exactly what we did! This place was even better in person than the pictures! The sound of the creek was so peaceful and relaxing! The place was so homey and tranquil! 10/10 highly recommend this stay if your looking to unwind! We want to come back in the summer to do some fishing!

The cabin was a cozy place to stay. We loved ADK design. Had a great time.

Jade was incredibly friendly and very proactive. She sent our check-in information well in advance and told us we could check in early if we got in ahead of schedule. All the necessary amenities were provided and in good working order. Jade always responded immediately to questions, checked in on us to make sure we got situated and followed up after we left. She even offered us the camp for another night because the roads were closed due to a state of emergency. I can’t say enough about her hospitality.

Our stay at Bethany and Michael's cabin was perfect. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. This was only enhanced by gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Located right across the street from the snowmobile trails and minutes from local restaurants. We fully enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again next year.

This might be the best air b and b I have stayed at. My husband and I were celebrating our birthday weekend, and we just wanted a romantic getaway for the two of us (and our pup). That’s exactly what we got. Every detail from the robes to the ready to bake goods(which are made by Rose and so delicious) to couch cover for our dog was thought of. You can tell eye for detail Rose has throughout the cabin. Even my husband, who is not really a person who gets excited about hotels/air b and b stays, was truly impressed by where we stayed. We both agree that when we go back to Old Forge, we don’t need to try to stay anywhere else. This is perfect!

Loved the place. Super clean and cute. The beds are comfy! Plenty of warm blankets too. Erin is very responsive, helpful, and nice. We stayed in the winter and had magnificent snow! The person that does the plowing was great. Erin also has a lovely restaurant close by with awesome burgers! Plenty to do for outdoor folks or people who want to get away from it all.
