Beach house holiday rentals in Ocean Beach

This spot is incredible!! Rented it for me, my partner and a few of our friends for my birthday and it was truly a spectacular landing spot!! Robert is very communicative and available about any needs and the view cannot be beat. Will note that while they are pet friendly, they don’t like animals on the furniture and also it is a glitter free space, if you are a sparkly gay like myself, it may not be the space for you!

The house is great. Plenty of room. Close to beach and bay. The market is a short 1 minute walk. The beach is a 2 minute walk. Chairs, umbrellas and beach cart are waiting for use. Great place. Greg and Sandra were very responsive. Looking forward to next year.

We had an issue with parking which was my miss read and the property owner called me right away and was so helpful. WE really appreciate his help and very much enjoyed our stay.

We really loved staying here. Fantastic location, big patios, comfortable beds. Right by the beach. Grill, spices, speaker system indoor and big portable outdoor speaker. Two bathrooms, skylights... Big dining room table. Awesome spot! Thanks so much for having us.

This house in Point Lookout was lovely. Only steps away from the beach. Provided all the extras - bikes, chairs… Dan was a great host. We’ll definitely stay again!

We stayed here for the 1st time earlier in 24 and it wqas perfect. This last trip was even better. The weather was amazing. The beach is 5 houses away. Many outstanding restaurants in the village. We felt welcome and right at home.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Surf Shack. The the house was just right for us with 3 kids with plenty of space inside the house and on the deck the kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed in for breakfast smoothies, picnics and grilling. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the fact that the house is right by the beach! It’s also a very easy walk in to town for ice cream, iced coffees and supplies. We were all in and out of town multiple times on all the days. Joseph was super friendly, helpful and quickly answered any questions I had about the local community and activities and deliveries to the island. He was very flexible on arrival and check out times and an ideal host. We would love to come back and stay and would recommend it to other visitors to Fire Island.

Five star visit across board. Beautiful home just big enough for six adults. Perfect location, owners easy to get in touch with if anything was needed or a question or two. Highly recommend! Highlights (for me!) were outdoor shower and second toilet :) as well as very comfortable bed in master. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas. 2-3 minute walk to beach, 1 min walk to coffee shop. Will be staying again!

It was a wonderful stay. We appreciated how open, bright and private this home is with a gorgeous pool and beautiful grounds. We enjoyed walking down to the bay and into town where everyone was friendly and helpful. Jamie was responsive when help needed with something in the house. My partner and I had the most wonderful weekend at the Long Beach Bungalow! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bungalow itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved the little thoughtful touches, and the comfortable bed, which made it feel like a home away from home. Our host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless, providing great recommendations and being responsive to any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to stay here again! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway // staycation, in Long Beach, with a wonderful host, this is the place!

Michael is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful. The perfect location makes it super easy to pop over to tea or to the store without committing to a long walk. Can't wait to visit again! Can't say enough nice things about this experience.

Place was clean and reasonably priced for the area. Conveniently furnished with many kitchen appliances. Moderately noisy from the traffic (as you can expect close to the road) and typical noise from the rest of the house. Johnna was very easy to communicate with. Got greeted by a very cute cat as we parked outside :)

the house was extremely comfortable...quiet yet close to town and a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. it's a little small, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but well-appointed. the pool is gorgeous. shawn was extremely responsive to any questions we had .

I cannot describe accurately how lovely and comfortable Jonathons house is It was more than perfect for us in every way! The fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog and we all enjoyed turkeys and deer hanging out. Walking the neighborhood and to the beach with leaves changing It couldn’t have been any better.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellport, it was extremely clean! The kitchen/baths were well appointed. The yard is gorgeous and the pool was delightful. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful. Such a great place!

We had a wonderful week with our family at Samantha’s place. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We would love to visit again in the future!

Location was perfect for us- easy to find and close to things that are important to us (family in area, beach, shopping). Fenced yard made bringing our little dog that much easier- especially during the rainy day! Kitchen was well stocked thankfully as we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner (but not well stocked in the casserole dish, baking tin department-- which is usually not an issue for most people!). Decent coffee was supplied with a Keurig. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. I liked that he didn't leave a long list of what we needed to do before leaving as that is often a hardship when trying to leave a house with kids before a long drive. I would definitely stay here again.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations and truly had everything we needed and more! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated the space was. The attention to detail in the decor added such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The shower was incredibly comfortable, a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. There was plenty of room for rest and relaxation, and every corner seemed thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. This place had everything we could have wanted and more, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a spot that combines style, comfort, and a touch of luxury, this is the one! We’d happily stay here again!

Perfect place for a weekend of beach walks !

We came in for a memorial service for my mom and dad who are buried in the area. We had about 30 friends and family join us from the surrounding area for the day and it provided a great location to stay for the weekend for me and my grown family. I needed a small Philips head screwdriver and when I got there, Konrad had left it for me. Hansard all our questions and really made it a great experience. We had fun and the place had great charm and everything you need for an amazing time.

What a great house! This house was perfect for my family of 5. There was plenty of space and it was so well kept. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens were great. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to LI!

This was a perfect stay for us. The house was just as described, clean and cozy. We walked to town and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions, gave clear instructions and recommendations for restaurants which we enjoyed. We had a great stay at the Cozy Cottage! Perfect home base for my family to explore Long Island. Appreciate the well-stocked kitchen and access to basic cleaning supplies (helpful when traveling with kids). We were disappointed that the March weather wasn’t nice enough for us to utilize the lovely outdoor seating areas, but maybe on the next visit!
