Beautiful old house in picturesque place with castle just on the Lahn We felt very comfortable at the place. Lovingly restored old farmhouse with a great mix of old and new. Swedish stove in the dining room provided coziness in the evening at the end of October. From the 1st floor you can look directly onto the Lahn. The location to the train station in Runkel is very good, i.e. arriving by public transport is easily feasible. Supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, cafe, gastronomy within walking distance. Beautiful hikes can be made from the house. Kerstin was quick to respond to questions, was very kind and helpful. We want to come back next year because it was so beautiful.

The place was great and we felt very much at home. Everything is in the description and pictures. Particularly noteworthy is the wine selection of the in-house winery. We will be happy to come back.

My family enjoyed our stay in such a unique and welcoming home. Jane was so friendly, following up with us to ensure our stay was going well and providing us recommendations where to eat, along with suggestions where to watch the New Year celebration. This included right in front of the house. Which I must say was amazing and unforgettable, we have never seen anything like it! The description of the house is very accurate. My wife and I are very tall individuals and we bumped our heads a few times in the bedroom and bathroom shower (we were warned) but we had expected that was going to happen staying in such an uncustomary and historical house. We loved the location, great restaurants in walking distance, and grocery stores are a very short drive. Thank you again Jane for making our stay so incredible.

A very nice place in a quiet location with modern furnishings. If everything goes smoothly, I can recommend it.

The place just felt like home. It’s a nice cozy apartment with a nice balcony. There was a concert at the street end which we enjoyed a lot. The host is very responsive and co operating. Everything needed was already there in the apartment. The train station - Dreieich Sprendlingen is only 7 minutes walk - there is a train RB61 which runs every hour towards Frankfurt HBF main station. There is an Indian restaurant at 5 mins walk, and also all amenities are nearby. Overall a nice place with nice host. Thank you.

The modern furnished apartment on the first floor offered everything I needed: a practical & modern kitchen, a large bathroom and a cozy bedroom. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more pleasant. The parking was great - right in front of the house. I can only recommend this apartment!

Great location within walking distance to everything. The apartment was clean and everything worked well. We enjoyed our time there.

The way to the accommodation was problem-free. The steep slope to the house is easy for any experienced motorist. Arranged, we were warmly welcomed and the apartment was shown to us very nicely and we were well instructed. Before I booked the apartment, I read through the reviews regarding cleanliness and they were very positive. This criterion was important to us and it corresponded to everything as described. It was very clean. In the kitchen we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were very pleasant for me. The apartment was very warm and it was very pleasant for us because outside minus temperatures of up to -5 degrees Celsius. Monika and her partner are very friendly people who are very accommodating to us with certain wishes. I can only warmly recommend this apartment and I will definitely come back if I should come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the property! The apartment was just like the photos, very clean, well equipped and extremely cozy. The location was perfect – in a quiet yet central area, with lots of restaurants close by. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating, gave us great tips for the area and responded quickly to all our questions. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

This place was great, it was in a quiet location, had a parking space, there was an aldi or lidl near by, the place was fully equipped with everything, kitchen, fridge, dishes etc.

This place was very homely, clean, and a pleasure to stay in during the holidays. We appreciated the hosts extra effort and enthusiasm to decorate for Christmas. We felt right at home here and we would stay here again!
