Village living experience, Host is very friendly, he welcomed us and showed us the place. View is great. Laundry detergent and softener are provided too. Note that place is at level 1, so you need to take stairs and the walking path to the house is very dark at night

Frank has certainly earned his super host designation! He answered questions before our stay, was very responsive and even offered us a late check out which made our departure much more relaxed. The house is wonderful, in a very peaceful setting next to the forest, but also close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house, including a charming pool, ping-pong table, outdoor space for dining and lounging, and ability to cook and grill. Beds were comfortable and lighting great for reading. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a happy stay in the Schwarzwald!

We used the property for our family Christmas party. Really everything was perfect: reception and care by the friendly, helpful host Tim; house, amenities, location, views, bread service, cleanliness and tranquility. There are beautiful walking trails directly from the house. We will be back and look forward to our next stay.

We felt very comfortable from the first moment, Fritz welcomed us very friendly. The old villa has charm and was a cozy base in the bad weather we had. Like many guests before us, we appreciated the breakfast items in the fridge. If we come back to Freiburg and Fritz has space for us, we will be happy to come back. It would certainly be nice to enjoy the terrace in summer. Thanks again to Fritz for his support!

The place was just as showed in the pictures, very beautiful, peaceful and cozy place, specially if visiting in the winter. Location wise, it's very easy to find, and to a walkable distance to various public transport stations. There are a few very good restaurants at walkable distance as well. Bettina as a host was very kind, receptive and overall great!

We had a great stay at this place! Check in and out was completely smooth and very friendly – the host was extremely accommodating. The location is quiet and idyllic in rural areas, but still close to Strasbourg – perfect for a relaxing holiday with friends. With 8 bedrooms, the space offers plenty of space to enjoy the time together. Everything was exactly as in the pictures, very clean and maintained. The host and the place are absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed the stay at this lovely place. The house is very spacious (both inside and in the garden), super clean and was a great home for our family gathering of 12 including a baby and young kids. The amenities and equipment were in great condition. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kids friendly. There are plenty of things to do in the surroundings. The place is close to the center of Garmisch. We highly recommend it!

This villa had a beautiful view of the lake which made breakfast a real pleasure. Great heating and room layout. Very functional! Although the kitchen was on the small side for a place this size (we had both upstairs and downstairs apartments), it was super functional and had everything we needed including raclette, fondue set, grill, coffee machine, etc! Would love to come back to stay during the summer…..during the winter the downside is that it’s really foggy so we didn’t always have a view, but also many attraction/activities were not open in the winter. Host was super responsive and sorted all our needs out! Beautiful place and wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous time at the chalet! The view of the castle and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful! The chalet is very comfortable and during winter time it was lovely to have the fire going in the livingroom. The communication and recommendations were much appreciated. Also there was a fresh bread service every morning which was delicious. We definetly recommend the chalet!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

Amazing stay at Patrick's big house! We had the very best time at Patrick's beautiful home! It is perfectly located, not far from Obernai and close to shopping, which was very convenient. The house offers plenty of space, including ample parking for three cars. We were particularly enthusiastic about the equipment: the barbecue area in the garden for delicious barbecue dishes, and the piano in the house was an absolute highlight – it was of course used extensively! The house is generously designed with four bathrooms, which was incredibly enjoyable especially with a larger group. We often spent the evenings with poker rounds, and the selection of DVDs for kids made for nice quiet hours. There was really nothing missing. Patrick was an attentive host who warmly welcomed us from the beginning. Thank you for this unforgettable stay – we will be happy to come back!

It was a wonderful holiday with a fantastic view at Villa Goyen. It all looked the same as the photos. We would come back at any time.
