Really comfortable stay and beautiful neighbourhood too. Host had generously provided snacks and drinks for our stay too. Highly recommend!

You can’t put a price on meeting a host like Karen. Her interesting life experiences, her current working in the arts and her social life, her kindness and her wonderful home made breakfasts made our 5-night stay wonderful. She gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. Our room had the most amazing view. (You need to stay more than one or two nights for this room). The house is full of art works from her many years of design but also others’ art too. She was kind enough to show us her studio. As the week went on we felt like we had made a friend rather than just a live in landlady. (She is not at all intrusive - very sensitive and allowed us our privacy). We shall miss her but plan to return again soon, hoping for better weather to visit the islands (ferries are close by - excellent location). As we left, potholes in the driveway were being filled in. Great quiet place tucked away off the road, very easy to find. Ian makes a great homemade hot breakfast to start your day! Lovely sitting room that we spent a couple nights in meeting and getting to know other guests. Close to the ferry terminal as well which was helpful for our early morning out. Thank you!

I had a great time at Laura's place even if it was only one night. The place is amazing and the warm welcome from Laura were just perfect. I would definitely want to come again to stay longer.

Had a beautiful stay in Erin and B’s Airbnb. A calm and inspiring retreat to come back to after spending the day with everything that Glasgow has to offer.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Crinan Ferry. Stephanie and Adrian were very welcoming and their b&b was warm, cozy, and peaceful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a varied choice. We had the 3 course meal with local and seasonal ingredients - lovely. Nothing was too much bother for them, and their love for the area is clear to see! We would definitely come back in the future! Alex's place was a fantastic base for our Glasgow city break. Alex and Fiona were so welcoming, friendly and helpful with lots of useful recommendations, which really helped us to make the most of the short time we had to explore the city. It was so nice to have afternoon tea when we arrived and such a wonderful breakfast each morning with freshly made bread, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals etc - what a treat! Our children (aged 11 and 13) also felt right at home and enjoyed playing some of the games that were provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the little extras were much appreciated (slippers, robes, tea and coffee making facilities). The house is just a couple of minutes' walk from the station and so there is easy access to the city centre if you don't have a car. Alex and Fiona really do go 'above and beyond' but in a relaxed way, which made us feel at home and we would love to stay again when we return to Glasgow.

Archie was a great host. The room was nice and clean, private parking is a plus.

We absolutely adored our stay, there are so many places to stay in Fort William, but we could not recommend Colin’s place highly enough. Beautiful room with incredible views, clean and the breakfast within the room went above and beyond our expectations. Good parking and all round a really wonderful experience

Good deal and excellent service. They let us check in early and we enjoyed the lovely space outside! Super convenient to restaurants and the WHW.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Laura and Castlecroft B&B were a welcomed rest after a long travel day. Laura greeted us and gave us a quick tour and let us get settled in after arriving later than expected. She pointed us to a wonderful dinner spot and the next morning we had the best breakfast! We also came with our toddler and Laura made her feel right at home. Highly recommend Laura and the Castlecroft for a stay!

We received such a warm welcome from Jo and her sister. The room was very comfortable with a nice ensuite. The kitchen tie stairs was perfect and we sat in front of the fire in the sittjng room relaxing. The house is immaculately clean.
