Holiday houses in Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel

It's the case to say it, it's a haven of peace. I spent the stay with my 2 children and had to follow the school routine. I was afraid it was difficult, but under no circumstances was it! My children quickly became comfortable. The host was absolutely perfect. Kind and caring. I was living in a relocation situation and it was already not easy, but the host really made my stay peaceful and humane. Me and my 2 kids are forever grateful. I would recommend the place to anyone and would go back.

We rented the cottage for 3 nights from 21 to 24 December. I had access to the cottage before the agreed time. Very well organized inside and lots of dishes. A variety of board games and Christmas decor. It was very cold that weekend and the water in the shower piping froze. The manager came with a heater to fix the situation. My only downside is that the cottage was difficult to heat up and I suggest a good ptite wool 🙂

We had a great time, The place was perfect! ***Small note: during a stay during the winter, it is better to access the chalet with a 4x4 vehicle. The road is sloping so the exit is difficult, it's easy to stay stuck.

We loved being able to make an outdoor fire and have a hot tub at the same time. The waterfront and creek views were just beautiful! It's worth a little time to spend a little time there. Thanks to Jolin for being very receptive to our requests and for contacting us quickly to help us.

What a lovely place to stay, we enjoyed the absolutely beautiful environment in a lovely, cozy home. At first, we were mildly disappointed that the fireplace was electric and "just for the look", but we still turned it on every evening. It really helped to create a great vibe! And the place was warm, so we need a fireplace. The bedrooms/beds were comfortable. We had a great time. Thank you!

A very nice stay at the cottage in this beautiful place. The view is breathtaking, the cottage has everything you need for a stay there. The big plus is the hot tub with lake views! Looking forward to it!

Excellent stay in a quiet and refreshing environment. I highly recommend Vita's cottage. It is very warm, functional and the mattresses are comfortable. The slide and swing are really a plus when you have small children. The entrance to the Ouareau Forest Trail is within a 10-minute walk. Happiness during those few days.

We had a long family weekend at Kevin and Genevieve's. We were 4 adults and 2 young children. The house is superb, very well equipped and faithful to the photos and description. The exteriors are very nice and many easy hiking trails are accessible from the house on foot. The lake is also within walking distance about 10min from the accommodation. Kevin and Genevieve were available and very responsive to our few requests. We'll be back!

This chalet is amazing great views also very well equipped, we have a great time in there, thanks to Laura for the Christmas decorations it was very comfortable to be there celebrating Christmas and feeling like merry mood. The only thing We had a misunderstanding in the use of the campfire since we burned several woods since the description does not say the limit. It is a magical place, I would definitely like to return in the summer.

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays here with our 17-year-old daughter, and it was exactly the cozy winter weekend we had hoped for. One evening, our daughter baked cinnamon buns, and the next morning, my husband made pancakes—filling the chalet with the most delightful aromas! (We brought our own baking dish and electric grill.) As big foodies, we would’ve appreciated more mixing bowls in different sizes, but this was a minor detail. Overall, ‘Pti’Guidou’ is a very worthwhile stay—peaceful, charming, and wonderfully accommodating. Highly recommended!! :)
