Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Notodden

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

A home away from home. We were blown away by how this home was equipped and we really didn't want for anything. The hosts and the house exceeded our expectations.

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

Great location for Kongsberg jazz.

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Nice place to visit around Rjukan.

Great accomodation in central Rjukan. Spacious, warm, well equipped. Great communication with Signe.

Clean and tidy, nice hosting. Ready made beds were well to taste for us guys. Short distance to all amenities and really cool with a jacuzzi. Thank you for this time from Team Kongsberg.

Nice and welcoming hosts. Nicely clean, the couches might need a replacement, and the kitchen + floor is a bit worn in places, but all in all a nice apartment and lovely place. We have been well satisfied with the stay.

The location was great, just put on the ski boots and walk straight out on the hill. Nice to have the car in a hot garage as well. The apartment was super cozy, beautifully furnished. We cooked nice dinners at home, everything that you need is in the kitchen. Fun with beautiful crockery too, it made our dinners extra special. The negative was that there was a little too cozy lighting in the evening when the board game arrived, it was quite hard to see, so then we had to light some extra candles.

We had a great weekend in Gausta and the place worked super well for me and my son. Unfortunately, the lift and slopes that are next to the apartment did not open, but the buses often go away to Skicenter and a couple of times we walked away with the skis, which also works if you do not want to wait for the bus. Great location on the property with a nice view of Gaustatoppen!

Lovely apartment with the most beautiful view of Gaustatoppen. You live across from the ski lift and we could ski all the way to the front door. There is underfloor heating in the hallway, living room, toilet and kitchen which is REALLY great when you come home from skiing. You can walk from the cabin down to the supermarket and saunas by the lake which can be recommended. Lovely apartment that we could definitely borrow again

Calm and beautiful place with view of lake.

We stayed with Stefan for a week as a family with 2 children (10 and 15). First time for us in Norway. Stefan welcomed us warmly and once guided us through the house. The description of the accommodation is already very informative, but does not in the least reflect how the view of the vastness of the fjord from the living and dining area feels: breathtaking! There is really nothing missing in the huge house. The kids loved the terrace and especially the pool. The evenings at the fire bowl were also really very nice. There is also a guitar in the living room, which our son enjoyed very much. The Telemark region also offers something for everyone, from water sports to hikes to fabulous places. We recommend a hike on the Gygrestolen⛰️, a visit to the Trollfoss waterfall 💦but also the coastal towns of Langesund, Kragerø, Arendal and Kristiansand. We will 🇳🇴 miss Norway. The town is within easy walking distance. There are different sitting areas for people to chill out so the house never feel clostrofobic. We stayed with a group of 8. This is our second stay. Everyone had a good time.

Very charming farm with good playground, both outside and inside. We really enjoyed it! Good communication with the host. The place stood up to expectations, and so on. Would recommend a stay at Own!
