Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Norway

The place is beautiful and matched the description. It was well equipped with pots, pans, plates, washer, dryer, and a beautiful sauna. Janne was incredibly helpful. He provided us with local recommendations and answered all my questions very quickly. He made sure the icy areas around were safely covered with gravel. Levi ski resort and the town of Sirkka is one of those secret gems I don't want anyone to know about, and this place has a very good location with a rental shop where you can ski onto the slopes. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you!

Tor's home was beautiful! I would stay again without question. so very convenient to the bus and downtown. the grocery store right across the street was so convenient. very close and commutable to the airport. Huge, amazing bathroom and lots of space for three. would recommend!

We had a lovely time at Dag's place. It was in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the city, but also very easy to travel in to Tromsø by bus. Dag was also very helpful as a host and the accommodation itself has everything we needed. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Apartment located in a strategic location for everything, 2 minutes from the ski slopes, 1 minutes from cross-country skiing, 5 minutes from the market. Mrs. Noora is very kind in allowing us to postpone the check-out, clean bathroom with exceptional sauna, kitchen equipped with all the useful utensils. There is a fireplace equipped with wood, a fairytale, the clothes dryer. Really great apartment without having to pay crazy amounts that others ask for.

We would fully recommend this place. Tone (Roger's sister) couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful when we arrived. She also kindly went out of her way to lend us some sledges and equipment for outings. The accommodation is just stunning, and extremely well equipped (we particularly liked the coffee machine!). Beautiful views all round and we saw the northern lights from the hot tub. There's also a walk around the coast line right by the apartment where you can see them even more clearly. Usually I don't sleep well in a bed that's not my own, but we found the beds to be extremely comfortable. Also, plenty of spare blankets if needed. The hot tub and sauna were great for us and also if you're a fan of cold water dipping, you can go for a dip from the steps by the decking. The local supermarket is not even a 5 minute walk away, and walking to town was fine for us even in the snow, took around 25 mins. Hopefully we'll be back to see the summer.

The place is really nice, near bus stops where we could easily get to the city center , and the view was really nice , it's near a river that was frozen since we got here in winter time , it looks magical! the place is as well near cable car where we got to see northern lights once we were up on the mountain! The host was really friendly and responsive.

My stay at Veronica’s studio was fantastic! The studio was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The fully-equipped kitchenette allowed me to quip a meal whenever I pleased. Veronica was very responsive and answered all my questions instantly. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the center of town or a 5-minute bus ride. Supermarket is right around the corner from the apartment building! I highly recommend Veronica’s place.

If given the chance we would stay here again and again! The location could not have been better and Per Inge was the perfect host as far as communication and making sure all needs were met!

Ingrid’s place was fantastic and so well equipped. It’s so unusual to find an air BnB with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. As well as plenty of toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, spare sheets, and extra towels. Ingrid provided clear check in instructions with photos so everything was easy to follow. She was in regular contact to check everything was satisfactory and whether we needed anything. The apartment building was quiet, peaceful and well placed for walking into Tromsø city centre. There is also a small shop within 2 minutes walking distance for convenience. We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 3 and would definitely rebook. Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this place. It is a short drive (25 min) from the airport and located in a small village by the sea. It was clean, spacious; with a large kitchen to prepare meals. A big plus point was the fact that it is located in an area with less light pollution, so we even saw some Auroras from the balcony or on the hill behind the place. I could make some good photos even the activity was not too strong, but of course they look better when you go to a darker place. Going to supermarket, Tromsø or to small trips are very easy if you have a car. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you might need. Hosts are responsive and helpful, gave us some recommendations. Parking and house is also easy to find but I have to warn that the way to the entrance door is relatively steep and slippery in winter. They try to clean and sand it but still it could get difficult, be careful if you are traveling with lots of luggage or baby. Spikes or snow shoes are MUST to have.

Great host. Immediately responded to a small issue, and he immediately came and fixed it. Everything worked well. I would like to use the space again another time.

We had a great week of comfort. Above all, it is in a very good location for seeing the Aurora. We were only able to see the wonderful Northern Lights three times in front of the house without a tour. The host is very kind and quick to respond.

Lovely little apartment perfect for me and my dog! The neighborhood is cute and Sissel gave lots of extra information so I felt like I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful swedish-style tiny house in the countryside. Located about 35 minutes by bus from Skellefteå in a quiet and peaceful area. The house is newly equipped with all the staff needed for short or long stay. I wish I would stay there for longer than one night.

Jari was particularly attentive to our requests and very invested in making sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend this place, which allowed us to see the northern lights for New Year's! It was an exceptional moment, and Jari made sure we didn’t miss it by almost running to our door to knock and let us know, aha! If you're hesitating, hesitate no more! :)

Amazing place. Incredibly cozy, warm, clean, spacious and very well equipped cabin. We haven't been missing a single thing. Sauna, Gym, Fireplace, Computer Games etc. Very nice and beautiful surroundings around. We've had a wonderful weekend. Tranquility, peace and family time. Should have been much longer. And incredibly good and kind hosting and lightning-fast communication. Thanks so much! We'll be back!

A wonderful location. Easy to get to the city centre. Would highly recommend. Kristin was helpful and friendly.

The lady was very friendly, always present and available. Arrive in 30minutes if you need it. The place and its home are lovely. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful to see. There are only 2Km walk from the city center where you can get there by BUS very comfortably. Impeccable stay. I'll definitely be back.

Piia’s home was fantastic and everything we could dream of for a family of 9 + 2 kids! The house is so well heated that we could enjoy ourselves even in the -27 degrees weather. Beautiful interiors, complete with amenities. Truly made our stay memorable and we hope to be able to spend another white winter here again.
