Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Tyneside District

Lovely house, very comfortable, warm and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. In a great location only 10 minutes away from Durham and easy to find. The rooms were all spacious, the bathroom was lovely and the free standing bath was a bonus, I had a very enjoyable soak. Tom left very generous welcome gifts. We would definitely stay there again. An easy 5 stars. This was our 2nd time staying in Whitley Bay in one of Joanne and John’s homes and we couldn’t have been happier. They are fantastic hosts and the property was amazing. Turning up to have bread, milk and teabags as well as some other treats was lovely and the home had everything we needed. The location is walking distance to the high street, beach and some great local restaurants. The Christmas tree and log fire were such a magic touch. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas in your home!

Ellen’s place is ideal location - we travelled down for sky diving and a trip to Durham both a great distance from the Airbnb. Ellen was friendly and proactive and the space is clean and cosy - very homely. Definitely recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for, peace & quiet, remote but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area

We had a lovely family weekend in the Chateau by the sea. The house is beautiful and spacious with lovely communal areas to spend time together in. The seafront is only a short walk with plenty places to eat and drink, and morrsions is only over the road should you forget anything. The hot tub is a perfect addition for relaxation with the outdoor shower to rinse off after. Would definitely recommend this home and we may even be back.

our family had a lovely four nights here over New Year. We made good use of the kids toys and board games. Kids loved the quirky bunk beds. Had a nice breakfast and dinner down in the town, and also a wonderful pizza takeaway. Made several great day trips to Alnwick, Simonside forest and Bamburgh castle. A lovely relaxing home, thank you very much to the hosts 💛

Gareth's house was perfect for our stay over Christmas. On street parking outside of the house made unpacking and getting the kids out of the car easy. The house is situated on a quiet street within walking distance of the town, park and riverside walks. It is also close to public transport to take you to Durham and Newcastle. The house is decorated to a hight standard with new bathrooms and kitchen. Gareth had added some lovely little Christmas decorations which made the house feel warm and cosy. We would definitely book Gareth's place again in the future. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

Very friendly host who equipped the flat with food for the first night. Much appreciated by us who were travelling in from abroad. Quiet neighbourhood suitable for a weekend break with kids in tow.

Beautiful apartment within walking distance to town center. Very tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Lisa and Steve left orange juice, milk, bread, butter and jam which was well appreciated as we were too tired to go shopping for groceries when we arrived. Would highly recommend.

Apartment was as shown on the website. Very clean and tidy Towels and bed linen were spotless. Being mid February when we stayed we needed the central heating on and it proved adequate John was in touch regularly to see if we had any problems Sybil, our dog loved the outside space and the walks in the nearby Roker Park and onto the beach. A very enjoyable stay

Linda's place is a lovely two-bedroom flat in a nice quiet street close to South Gosforth metro (less than 10 mins walk), which is a short metro ride from central Newcastle and close to Jesmond. It is spacious and airy with two large bedrooms and a decent living room. It has a little yard area too. It was clean and well-equipped. Short walk to a shop. Linda, the host, was really helpful and friendly. We went to see my son who is at the University and we had a lovely time. Would definitely stay there again.

It felt like home from home . Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay there . We will definitely stay here again should we visit Seaham in the future

This is a very comfortable apartment right in the heart of Corbridge with views over the church. It is well-equipped and has the advantage of a parking space.
