Holiday rentals with beach access in North Queensland

Had a great time at Bill’s place. Really useful location and everything I needed in the flat. Bill was really helpful and great at communicating and updating in advance of the stay which was very much appreciated. Easy to recommend as a great place to stay if you’re in Townsville.

Norbert’s place is so beautiful. We felt right at home in the artistic natural setting of the rainforest. He recommended a hike for us that took us to spectacular viewpoints. And the cafe that is a very short walk has excellent food. The Cassawary big colorful birds come through his place nearly every morning and are amazing. And we were provided with fresh eggs, bread, beer and milk so we could make tea and relax. It is a rainforest so there are mosquitoes but he lit coils so we could sit on the porch without being bugged. And there is a refreshing pool to cool off. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

The view from Sarah‘s place is stunning! It’s compact but it has everything we needed for a couple days stay. The pool was great, the beach had an area that was netted in so didn’t have to worry about stingers, and a great place to walk along the beach. And there are lots of great restaurants around too. We highly recommend it and hope we can come back again.

Eric and Vicki were a lovely welcoming and accomodating couple. The accomodation is a perfect fit for a couple stay, comfortable, accessible and equiped with everything you need for your stay in the beautiful tropics of Bingil Bay! Thank you, we would Definately stay there again.

Absolutely incredible stay! The property exceeded all expectations with breathtaking ocean views that we couldn’t get enough of. The location was perfect—everything we needed was just a short walk away, from great cafes and shops to the beach itself. The space was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Josh, the host, was outstanding—responsive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, which made us feel truly welcomed. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. It is a lovely house in a great location. Everything you could possibly need. Veranda was lovely for brekky in the morning. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

We were 3 generations enjoying a 3n stay. This home offered easy access, and was comfortable for all. Having our car made it easy to explore the island.

We really enjoyed our stay with Rod and Evelyn. The area was beautiful and the garden unit of the house was quite spacious and had more rooms than we needed. Our 5 yr old boys loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in the front and back yards, as well as watching the heritage pass by several times a day. The hosts were highly responsive and accommodating to our needs, as well as being friendly and offering local tips. Would definitely book again/recommend to others.

We had an awesome two nights at Linda’s place . 2 min walk to the strand . Beautiful comfortable home with great yard for our dog , we all loved it . Leo - 7 years old said “this is actually the best house ever “ We will definitely rebook if we are ever back in Townsville. Thanks Linda 🙏

Great find! Easy to get to from the airport, quick walk to the esplanade where you can access the main town within 10 minutes! Great apartment, lots of amenities, very clean. Marc was especially helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Thomas's cozy home. The location was absolutely perfect, right next to the lagoon and close to all the action. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the mountains and the lagoon. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Thomas. He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His communication was excellent, and he was always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend Thomas's place to anyone visiting Cairns. It's a fantastic choice for a memorable stay.

A beautiful and modern apartment with stunning views. All amenities were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. A cot was setup ready for our baby. Very minor note, the Wi-Fi across Bright Point is ok, but it can be unreliable, particularly in the evenings.

Angela and Shaun’s place was fantastic, as it was described. The location is perfect, by being a short trot to the strand; heaps of restaurants and a brilliant beach walk. Close to Castle Hill lookout for those sunrise and sunset viewings. The place was spotless on arrival and the check in and check out instructions were easy to follow. Angela and Shaun’s hospitality was very welcoming and the stay was amazing. Thank you Angela and Shaun!

We stayed in Christine’s apartment for 3 nights. It is in a spectacular location with ocean views from the balcony which was very relaxing. It is very close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, wharfs and tour offices. We did not have to rent a car to reach the pickup points for our booked activities/adventures. Apartment was very clean and well kept. Christine was very nice, she received us in the lobby and was very responsive to our calls. She let us stay beyond the checkout time upon our request as our flight was in the late afternoon. Our kids, 18 and 13 had a great time. Thanks Christine for the wonderful stay in your apartment in Cairns and making our vacation a pleasant and memorable one. Will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends who plan to visit Cairns. Thank you.
