Holiday houses in North Hinksey

Steve and Dawn couldn't have been more welcoming. We had a detailed and precise video showing us everything we needed to know and how to use tv etc. The property was modern whilst keeping is lovely traditional charm. Steve was spot on with everything. He allowed us early/late check-in , which was really helpful. He checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. The heating was on when we arrived and there was plenty of wood for the burner for the whole weekend. The cottage itself was perfectly located just off the High Street. Yet it was still peaceful and tranquil. The cottage offered parking, which is rare in a location like this. It was spacious with all the mod cons you could need. The shower was spacious and powerful. All in all, a great break with great service and we will be looking to book again, either here or in one of Steve and Dawns other properties. Many thanks, Dean & Vicki

Both Sarah and Tony were delightful hosts and a pleasure to work with. We had a small issue with the heating and Tony was extremely helpful and dealt with it straight away. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful cottage that was exactly as the pictures portrayed it. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all of the creature comforts and amenities you would expect. I would highly recommend staying here as a gateway to the Cotswolds and surrounding area, and Louisa is a fantastic host to boot.

Great, quiet space with everything needed for a easy stay. Nice little touches, like a bottle of milk in the fridge and tea and coffee supplies.

Our family stayed for a week over Christmas and felt right at home. The townhouse is beautifully furnished with thoughtful care to comfort and utility. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for preparing a Christmas feast with lots of room for dining and lounging. Although we didn’t use it, the outdoor area would be wonderful in summer. The townhouse is situated in a lovely, street with car parking and easy access to public transport and local shops. We walked into the city most days (approx 15 mins) and also used the bus which was really convenient. Susie and Harley were very responsive, kind and thoughtful hosts who reached out to ensure we had all we needed and treated us with beautiful Christmas decorations and a welcome basket. Our family of 6 had lots of lots of room to rest, lounge and share special holiday moments. A Oxford perfect base and we were sad to leave!

Beautiful cottage which was beautifully presented. Clean and very well equipped. I have stayed at lots of Airbnb properties and this was the best. Very helpful and communicative host; some lovely welcoming touches; very well stocked with most things you could need in the kitchen including some extra basic food and drink items that can be used. Lovely Molten Brown toiletries in the bathroom were provided. Very comfortable beds and furniture is exceptional throughout the property. Plenty of space and all amenities are well thought through to ensure your convenience and comfort. Two great bedrooms, one with en-suite shower. Bathroom downstairs is spacious. Bespoke kitchen is amazing with large fridge/freezer and all other amenities exactly as described. Location is good, very quiet, easy parking and a choice of some lovely local pubs serving great food. Very restful, with nice walks nearby for my dog. Good size secure garden at the back. We had a lovely stay at Hannah’s place - it was very clean and easy to check in. The perfect spot for a getaway in the Cotswolds.

We had a lovely stay for the weekend. The village is lovely with enough food options to mean you don’t have to leave unless you wish. Burford is less than 5 miles away and ideal for a potter. Flat was very nice- lovely and warm with comfy fixtures and fittings. We enjoyed and would recommend. We didn’t bring a dog but it’s a very dog friendly set up.

Wow what a find. Tracy's place was just what we needed in the middle of winter. Despite the damp and windy weather the cottage was lovely and cosy with everything we needed for our traditional family weekend. The wood burner was great and we really appreciated the extra touch of pastries and bubbles. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful location and was beautifully presented and really well equipped. In terms of finding it we would recommend "What Three Words" rather than the sat nav which wanted to take us to the farm up the lane!. Thank you again Tracy.
