Our Happy Place - Peaceful retreat close to it all

A gorgeous, peaceful holiday retreat only a very short walk to the lake, beach, restaurants and shops. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are three bedrooms, two have a Queen size bed and the third has two sets of bunks. A separate lounge room has a cosy fireplace and large screen TV. The dining room, with adjoining sitting area, looks out to the wonderful large covered deck, yard, games 'shed' and bbq. There are two lovely bathrooms, one with a bath.

This was our first time using Air B&B. Could not have wished for a better start. Everything in Forster is within a 5-10 minute walk and mostly flat, except for Pilot Hill Lookout and Pebbly Beach. The unit was great with Lounge and Kitchen with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Laundry and pool also good. Jodi was great with her communication, responses and instructions.

If you’ve got pets and/or children it is a great option. The space feels very homely and liveable. It doesn’t feel like you’re on egg shells worried if the kids were to make a mess as all floors as floating floor. Close to cafè’s, little shops and entrance to diamond beach, We really liked it and found it a perfect stay for the week.

A beautiful house in peaceful and stunning surroundings with lots of great wildlife to spot. Wonderful verandah to enjoy the view whilst eating and relaxing. Great space for the dog and the kids (10 & 12) loved putting the crab pots out and fishing on the lake. Matthew was a great host, very responsive and the house folder had so much information about restaurants and places of interest to visit of which we did many. A great family holiday! We will definitely be back!

I can not describe how lovely this place and the hosts are! amazing house with amazing views. Anissa and Andrew were a joy to deal with. very accommodating to our requests. We will absolutely be back! this is our new getaway destination! Bonny Hills is a charming little town but with Port only 20kms away has access to all the shops you need, can't recommend enough!

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

The location was great and David was so accommodating to our needs. The house is on a double storey so it can cater for most family groups with the noisier teens to be downstair. Beautiful relaxing cottage stay at The Croft. The location was peaceful and quiet. The comfort of all the furnishings especially the bed was exceptional. The ammenities and communication were wonderful. Fantastic that it was pet friendly also as there were little paths for the dog to be walked on around the cottage in the morning and evening. This cottage is very cosy, warm and relaxed, I would recommend this beautiful cottage stay to anyone and I will be staying again.

The location was absolutely perfect — waking up to the stunning views made our experience unforgettable. The property itself was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated with a relaxed, cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and provided thoughtful touches like the yummy treats. A fabulous home in a beautiful location! Claudia was a wonderful host and offered early check in and late check out which was really appreciated as we were moving to a new house in the area and staying in this Airbnb home for a short break whilst waiting for our furniture to arrive. Diamond Daze caters wonderfully with a well appointed kitchen, spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms as well as a fully fenced yard that our dogs loved. The home fronts onto Diamond beach and access is via a side gate and short walk to a beautiful beach that is dog friendly - super convenient! You feel immediately on holidays when you walk through the home and see the view from the verandah! Highly recommend.

Beach Views - with Heated Pool!

We had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whole family went crazy at the super modernised heated pool. Kids didn’t want to go anywhere and always looked forward to come back home during our stay. Such a serene place to stay and same as described by our beautiful host Skye. Host was proactive and detailed in providing instructions. Stunning views, the mighty sounds of the waves truly mesmerised us. Would 100% recommend to all. Only thing is it didn’t have air conditioner , but i am sure host will get it soon as the house gets extremely hot during the day but at night and early morning it was pleasantly breezy and a lot cooler.
