Holiday rentals with beach access in North Carolina

Emily was super responsive and nice when I had to call her when we checked in. We brought motorcycles and she was able to alert the property manager so they wouldn’t get towed without the parking pass. The location was fantastic. The tide was super high but we were able to access the beach by walking past the pier bar. We were thankful they had a couple of sand chairs for us to use, since we had to pack light. The shower could use some TLC but it was clean. Overall, a great experience at a great location.

We had such a relaxing weekend getaway here! The beach access was so convenient and we really enjoyed how quiet the area was (the complex and the beach). My girlfriend is a germaphobe and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. We will be back!🙂

Donna, one of the owners, met us and allowed us to check in early. She was super helpful, caring and accommodating. Perfect spot for a Long Beach weekend. Just love Kure Beach!

We were very impressed with the condo! Clean and updated! Beach was steps away! We really liked decor and homey feel of everything! Felt more like walking into your home than anything! Highly recommend! Lauren is extremely fast to respond and always had the best and most helpful answers! Do not hesitate! You must go!!!!

This is a great apartment in a residential neighborhood right next to the beach. It's the main floor of a 3-story house with each floor being a separate unit with separate entrances. The huge back porch was our favorite feature, as well as walkability to restaurants and the beach - of course!

Michael was an amazing host. He was so warm and welcoming and his communication was incredible. The home was 100% as described and it was so incredibly clean, and with amazing modern finishes. You are literally a block away from the beach and far enough up that you are not disturbed by the nightlife at Carolina Beach. His hospitality was amazing and super helpful at all times. You will not regret booking here and with Michael.

We had a wonderful stay with Maribeth and her husband. The downstairs was comfortable and spacious. We brought our two dogs that had a blast in the backyard and on the dock. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway. We would love to visit again in the warmer months!

The unit was nice,everything needed was provided. We did notice something that needs addressing.When the switch for the ventilation in the first bathroom was turned on,the overhead light in the master bath switched off. Also,the outlet on the wall by the counter between the bedrooms,isn’t tight.When you plug anything into it,it’s very loose.I’m saying this,because it could become a safety hazard. Otherwise,we enjoyed our stay,and Brittany took great care of us.

We stayed with a group of friends & family with young children (1-4 years old). Amy's house was perfect for our group -- especially with the oceanfront location! We didn't realize how much more convenient an oceanfront property would be with kids since you don't have to lug anything to the beach and you can just pop back into the house 50 feet away! House was the perfect size, had all the necessary amenities (except for bath soap) and was very clean. Check-in was smooth and Amy was kind enough to text me when the house was ready early so our group could go in to put things in the refrigerator and settle in. Would definitely recommend this place for large groups looking to be right on the ocean!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Incredibly cozy, yet roomy and very clean! It has a very nice top sun deck with comfortable chairs where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the ocean waves. 💜 The house is close enough to the ocean that you can sit on the swing that is in the yard and hear the ocean and smell the salty air! Literally only a short walk from the public beach access, very convenient! Definitely recommend, 10/10! We hope to stay here again! Kate is great, very friendly and helpful! We had a wonderful visit with our son! Our first experience with Airbnb, very positive! 🧡💚

I stayed at this home last summer with my family and they could not have loved it more. It was such a great spot that my in laws begged me to book it again for this year's travel. We loved our stay and found wonderful restaurants to enjoy together while in Topsail. Can't wait to book again :)

Had an absolutely perfect trip to Gerald’s property. Everything was pristine and ample towels and linens. Totally gorgeous and RIGHT on the beach, couldn’t be closer. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back!!

Our stay at the Beach House at Topsail was nothing short of wonderful! The location is unbeatable—just a quick and easy walk to the beach, which made our daily seaside adventures incredibly convenient. The house itself exudes a rustic charm that perfectly complements the coastal vibe of the area. We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside. The instructions provided were clear and straightforward, making our arrival and stay seamless. Minnie, our host, was fantastic—she was attentive and ensured that everything was in place for our comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy and inviting space, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Sarah’s place was perfect for our stay in Ocean Isle! The home is beautiful and has all of the things you need if you want to cook and stay in at night. We will back!

Me and my wife had a great stay! The place was as advertised and just a couple minute drive from the beach. Would definitely recommend and this is the perfect place for a little weekend getaway!

My family has been coming to Emerald Isle for 40+ years and this was the first year I rented a place to bring more people. I could not recommend this house enough. It includes modern amenities and finishes that are hard to find in other Emerald Isle rentals. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need to host dinner which we did multiple times during the week. The back screened in patio was perfect for card games and hanging out while we waited for some rain to pass. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and each had its own in suite full bath. Getting to the beach is incredibly simple. For 5 people we loaded up the golf cart with chairs and coolers and took two bikes. 3 minute ride if that. Everything you could need for the beach is included. Finally, Monica and Michael were fantastic hosts and checked in to see if we needed anything. They even offered to reimburse us for tools to adjust one of the bikes. You can tell they love their home and enjoy sharing it. Thanks!

Kellie and Russ's place was very nice and the location for us was great. The proximity to the Fort Fisher Park, aquarium, and the ocean were great. We are already talking about going there again in the Spring of 2026. I would definitely recommend their place.

Awesome stay and exactly as described. Host was very responsive and easy access to the beach and fun attractions. Only issue was a slight sewer smell in restroom.

Would highly recommend! This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and the stay here made our visit worthwhile. Its walking distance to the beach so I loved that we could just walk over after breakfast! The condo was clean and all the listed amenities were available. John was also very responsive and worked with us through the whole booking process!

Everything was perfect and convenient we could walk everywhere. We look forward to staying again

Ryan's place was just what my family and I needed for a nice getaway for my birthday. Everything was as described. The deck was amazing and huge. There was a walkway right down to the beach. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was fun watching the gulls and terns and cormorants and pelicans dive for fish and my kids even spotted some dolphins. Ryan was very helpful and friendly and responsive. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we go to the beach if it is available. Highly recommend.

Location is next to ocean. Super peaceful hearing the waves at night. South of Wilmington so no worries with city traffic but close enough you can explore the area. Nice sized condo for a couples getaway

We had such a wonderful stay in Carolina Beach at Dune Our Thing! The view was absolutely amazing from the balcony! We enjoyed many walks on the beach and saw many beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We were even able to see several dolphins swimming in the ocean one morning while sitting on the balcony. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and the location was great! Amy is an excellent host and was helpful through the entire process of booking our stay to our arrival. We hope to visit again sometime!
