Holiday rentals with lake access in Nordfjord

Nice and spacious older house that is up to today's standard and has 5 bedrooms. Plenty of space for us who went on a business trip to Florø. Recommended!

Felt right like home away from home. The house was warmed up for us and the owner met us to explain everything about the house, welcoming us in their beautiful home. such a warm and cosy house, highly recommended.

We stayed for 5 nights in this property and felt so at home and comfortable. The furnishings are lovely and the history of the house really interesting- it used to be bank and sheriffs office! Anne is a very responsive host and was happy to let us use her kayaks and visit her summer cabin. There are shops within walking distance and many lovely places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend this house. We were sad to leave.

Kjetil's house was exactly as described and perfect for spending some days in the winter! Kjetil was very friendly and pleasant in communication, with also a good tip for a nice walking tour in the area. 😁 Since we were there in the winter, it was wonderful to light the fireplace, and Kjetil had provided enough wood. 🙏🏼 Highly recommended for a longer stay if you need to be around! 👌🏼

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

Helge's place been full of everything what we needed for our daily routine. Location and house - spot on, parking - easy fits more than two cars. Owner is super easy to get in touch with. 100% recommend for others who will look for place to stay in STRYN !!!!!

Such a beautiful place! It felt like visiting a friend's house; so very homey and warm with all their sweet photos. The view was incredible- we loved taking our time in the morning, drinking coffee and just staring out at the fjord! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and Lindy was very responsive. I would love to visit again someday.

It was a super nice high quality cabin by the lake, well equipped and cosy. A little away from towns but therefore very quiet and charming. Anne-Kari sent all the necessary information. We spent here two lazy days on our way from Ålesund to Geiranger. Visited Stranda panorama hike on the way which was breathtaking (non touristic fairytale forrest with a view to fjords) and had loads of raspberries. The only unexpected thing is you are charged 100NOK for bedsheets per person, but I learned it’s a common practice in Norway, although not everyplace. Oh, and the rope on the front entrance is not for ‘closed’. It’s protection from sheep :D

One of the best AirBnBs we’ve stayed at! Incredibly clean and very comfortable space. Had everything we needed- wish we could have stayed longer! The host was very friendly and greeted us with helpful instructions (and some local restaurant recommendations- super easy to get to town). Beautiful location with amazing views. Everything was as described/pictured. Would return!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean, homely. The surroundings are beautiful, and if you are interested in walking or hiking in the mountains, there are many options.

A lovely place at shore of lake. House has everything what you need. A very comfortable bed. Large living room with kitchen. A house surrounded by forest and lake where you can fish brown trout. Close to 2 cities (10-30 minutes by car) where located supermarkets, gas stations, gym and other shops. A landlord were very nice to us. There are a lot of hikes in 30-90 minutes from house. Highly recommend this place to stay.

A very good location if you’re trying to find some peace! In front of a lake and in the middle of nowhere, highly recommended!

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

A pretty house near Solvorn and therefore the Ferry to visit the church of Urnes. The house is large and nice with a large garden and space to park. The nearby Spar is right next door for shopping! The washing machine and dryer are a real plus! Torger and Marthe are very responsive which is nice if we have a question!

Authentic, rural and cozy. Close to beautiful nature, water, forest and mountains. No close shopping opportunities, then you should have a car.
