Cottage holiday rentals in Nipissing

A wonderful property which my family and I really enjoyed staying at. Joanne was really, really helpful and very quick in her responses to queries. We would definitely stay here again next time we are coming to visit family in Canada. 5+ stars. Thank you so much.

Kevin and Najee were extremely kind and approachable. They were always available via texts . Their home is to die for and located within a 10 minute drive from the town. The surroundings were beautiful , beside a lake and the amenities within the house were great. Hot tub requires a special mention. Its great for families with children. We highly recommend the property!!

The view is really impressive! The fact that the fire pit is right next to the lake made the atmosphere even more pleasant! There is a canoe and a kayak there, which guaranteed our fun even on a cold autumn day. In the afternoon we had a barbecue and then enjoyed a hot tub, which guaranteed relaxation at the end of the day! The house is beautiful inside, the rooms are simple but with comfortable mattresses, only the pillow was a little too firm, but nothing that kept us awake at night! In the kitchen we had all the utensils, except that some were stored dirty. The stove works but is a little weak, if you are planning on cooking there, just be patient and everything will be ready! Just one point, but this is the house rule and we already knew it, check-in is very late, only at 4pm and check-out has to be exactly at 11am. Consider getting up early. Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed nature, watched the stars at night and left there refreshed to face the city routine again! Thanks!!

The place is wonderful and peaceful, with plenty of things to do—hot tub, sauna, board games, movies, DVD player, fireplace, and campfire. I’ll definitely come back in the summertime. Highly recommend this place! Leigh responded quickly and was very easy to communicate with.

The cottage was lovely - had everything available, from kitchen supplies (+), outdoor activities (kayak, canoe, paddle boards, peddle boat, ladder ball, croquet, etc), and lots of movies & books! You can never be bored here or feel like you're missing something. I loved that everything was labelled and organized, so you could always find everything you need. The location is so beautiful and peaceful, and right on the water. My family and I had an amazing time and would come back again! Thank you!!

Great place for winter, very peaceful. The size fits 6 people comfortably and is well equipped for everything we needed. The best part is the Scenic view of the lake and forest from the living room.

Our stay at Yanci’s house was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Yanci was an amazing host, providing clear check-in instructions and being available for any questions. The house itself was stunning – spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a true home away from home. The living areas were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked, and the bedrooms cozy with plush bedding. The location was ideal – in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all the main attractions and local hotspots, making it easy to explore. Yanci truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and we felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We can’t recommend this home enough – it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We’d absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Yanci, for making our trip so special!

Great place, it's just as described. great view over the lake the general store 20 mins away was handy for the few items we forgot (such as firewood), but the hosts kindly left enough wood for a couple fires, so we didn't have to rush out. The place is cozy, six people would be cramped to share the space in the winter, but I think this was a great deal at the price they charged.

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for six of us. This cottage had everything we needed as well as being very peaceful. Went for a few walks in the area but excellent for sitting and relaxing if that is what you’re after. We did a winter visit but would definitely consider booking this again in the summer

We had a great time at Yvonne's place over the holidays. The cottage is extremely cozy and homey, and the property is beautiful. It's a great view overlooking the lake, and with all the snow on the trees it was magical. The cottage was equipped with everything you need from cookware, board games, books, fire wood, streaming services and lots of extra blankets which we appreciated! We would love to visit here again and experience it in the summer months too. Yvonne was very responsive to our questions and needs, and is extremely friendly. We highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Yvonne!

Great spot, beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. No complaints, would book again. Booking was a little confusing as it ran through the company and airbnb. But it makes sense as the cottage is apart of a larger family business. Very helpful staff and extremely accommodating.

We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again!

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

We stayed at Tyler, Steph, and Julie's cottage for a Fall fishing trip and it was the perfect spot! The lake is excellent for fishing, large and many places to scope out for all hours of the day... the firepit space was a great fit for our group of 5 to enjoy (we had forgotten our chairs and were thankful to see all the outdoor seating!) The cottage was one of the most well stocked Airbnb's we have stayed in, lots of helpful items in the kitchen. Our group noted we really would love to come back in the Summer time - there were so many games, a horseshoe pit, a whole separate bunkie, and lots of water toys that left us wanting to come back when the temps/waters are warmer with more friends for a true cottage staycation. 5/5, thank you for hosting us!

Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again

We spent New Year's Eve at this house with 7 friends, and overall, we had a great time. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. However, we were really looking forward to using the pool table, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. Unfortunately, the pool cues were in terrible condition and completely unusable. We were unable to play even one game, which was really disappointing. On a separate note, please be aware that you'll need to take all garbage with you when you leave to avoid a $160 fine. Despite the pool table issue, we still enjoyed our stay, and the house has a lot to offer.

the place was even more beautiful than the pictures…..we really enjoyed our stay …the area was very peaceful and calm…. i would definitely visit this place again.
