Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Nidwalden

Very polite staff and very accommodating to our needs. The attic room was exactly as described and did include air conditioning, which is a rarity in Switzerland. Breakfast area was well organized and food was high quality. We had an early departure before opening and the staff kindly offered to prepare us a breakfast to-go. Overall, we were very happy with this choice as a base while we explored Lucerne. Felt very safe walking the nearby streets at night, and had easy access to a local brew pub with an outdoor patio for drinks or a meal (we only tried the former). Great value, and highly recommend!

We stayed at The Bed and Breakfast on our family vacation. The room was comfortable and fit 4 perfectly. There were plenty of beautiful bathrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and even helped us so that we didn’t have to pay overnight parking - we just had to change the time on our parking timer once. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Bed and Breakfast!

We were very warmly welcomed and felt right at home. You also feel welcome with a child. It has a very nice play area. The room is big and very clean. Also the breakfast was delicious and generous. The hosts were always available and very helpful and flexible. We certainly weren't there the last time. Highly recommended!

A great place with atmosphere and really nice staff. Also, good location in the middle of the village. We will be back next time in Engelberg!

This Bed and Breakfast was the best! Has such a charming and friendly atmosphere. Even with sharing the building with other guest restrooms were plenty. The rooms were great. Beds were cozy. The best part was the breakfast! The hosts went above and beyond to have a variety of delicious options; breads, meats, fruit, yogurt, grains, and the absolute best jam! We enjoyed our time very much! Highly recommend

When we checked into this Airbnb, Ruth and her husband (sorry I don’t know his name) warmly welcomed us and provided a lot of helpful local travel information. - The breakfast provided here is unbeatable. I'm not a morning person, but I found myself getting up early without any complaints just for the breakfast, it was so delicious. Everything was fresh, and combined with the breathtaking view from the window, I think I'll miss this for a long, long time. - The entire space is cozy and clean, and the water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, which allows you to fully relax after a long day of sightseeing. -They have a cat (very friendly and adorable🥰 This was such a wonderful stay. My partner and I couldn’t stop talking about it even after returning to the US. If you're a traveler with a car, I highly, highly recommend you try this Airbnb—it was an absolutely dreamy experience.

Wonderful room with lake views. Very large, very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed despite a big delay due to the rain and traffic jams in Bahl... 😅 The breakfast graciously prepared by the hostess is excellent. I invite you to taste the homemade jams and coffee... 🤤 too good.

Old Swiss chalet, so a bit creaky. On a busy street so you hear the rush hour traffic early in the morning if you sleep with the windows open. The location is great if you’re spending time in the alpine area. The people are nice. It’s clean and the food is good. We enjoyed our stay.

Coming from a city of sunny Singapore, it was great to be away and that's what their place offer :) Away from all the buzzing city life, and not forgetting the place is really near Vitznau Station where you can get easy with transports!

We had a great stay! This was a charming bed and breakfast with very nice staff. It was a short walk away from the train station and to the Aare Gorge.

Everything was perfect, highly recommend!
