Cottage holiday rentals in Newport

We couldn't have wished for a nicer stay in the New Forest! The cottage is equipped everything you need, is located in beautiful surroundings with ample cycling routes nearby, and has a hot tub as an added bonus. Cindy and Lina are super accommodating and attentive hosts. We will most definitely be returning!

Lovely place to stay. You can't tell from pics but it looks over a stable with horses coming and going which is lovely. And the hot tub is great.

Had a great time at the Wisteria Lodge - very clean, hosts were very friendly and was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Would recommend!

We had such a fantastic time in Jocelyn and David’s Air B & B with our 11 month old twins. The place is very child friendly with cots, highchairs and plenty of toys which our twins loved to play with. Everything is very cosy and comfortable (with comfy sofas and beds) and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was also very clean. We also enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hot tub after we put our twins to bed. It is in a great location with plenty of great nearby pubs and walks. A big highlight was all the amazing gentle and friendly animals - horses, a donkey, and chickens to name a few which we and our twins enjoyed going to see every morning. We also thought Jocelyn and David were thoughtful hosts and very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend to families or couples. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jocelyn and David!

We had a fantastic few days in Godshill, staying with elderly parents and 2 young children. Host was very helpful and let us check-in a bit early, the house is beautiful and has everything you need with perfectly labelled instructions. Very comfortable beds and loved the hot tub and games room! Thoroughly recommend!!!

We had a really great stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook and recommend to others. The location was really perfect for what we wanted. Chrissie is a brilliant host, she has really thought of everything and her instructions were clear. We didn’t need any help so Chrissie left us to enjoy our stay in peace but if we did need anything we were reassured that she would be responsive. Communication was great. Loved the hot tub and wood burner.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

We had the most wonderful stay in Bramdean. Neil our host was fantastic, on hand when needed, helpful, polite, but not interfering. The cottage is fabulous; cosy and comfortable. Peaceful and private. The large hot tub was amazing and Neil checked on levels etc to ensure it worked well for the duration of our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with store cupboard items such as herbs, spices, oil and there were lots of kitchen utensils which was great for us because we mainly cooked at the property. The bathrooms are fabulous. The whole property is beautifully decorated and as the pictures. We were sad to go as the stay was so relaxing and rejuvenating. The Cottage can be a bit tricky to find but if you use what3words and follow Neil's instructions then it is easy. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back in the near future.

Lovely way to spend a few days over the Easter hols the kids. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable, thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely little cottage. Really cosy and plenty of space. Great pubs nearby all in walking distance, and some lovely walks too. Great place to take the dogs! Thank you for such a lovely break!

We had a lovely stay, everything was clean and as described. The stairs up to the bedroom are steep and a bit of a squeeze so bear this in mind. Debbie was a responsive and helpful host beforehand. I’d recommend this place to stay with the above caveat re the stairs.

Communication was quick and easy with Natasha. Drove through New Forest and saw the wild horses, then soon at the Ferry. Ferry was very well organised and they even knew our names at the check in booth! Access was straightforward, very clean and tidy throughout. Literally less than 10 mins from ferry, but far enough away in a quiet little area. Beautiful clean cosy cottage, very comfortable living. Situated in an excellent position.Small gated garden opening out onto large grass area.Then steps down to beach and licensed cafe. Forest to left of the cottage-long walks and great views. Super dog friendly-seemed every where in the Isle of Wight-in multiple cafes,pubs and restaurants, dogs spoilt, given their own complementary treats and water!Fully recommended for a couple(s) or family get aways and even spoiling the pooch.Thank you very much for having us,we felt very welcomed and really enjoyed every minute-could quite easily live there! If I could give extra stars beyond the 5 star rating, I really would. Hillary's AirBnB is beautiful, exactly what my wife and I needed and agreed it was one of the best places we've stayed at via AirBnB. Hillary allowed for an early check-in, was really communicative being friendly and helpful whenever we did communicate. Cannot recommend enough!

A fantastic house accommodating our group of 12. Excellent location with the start of a Forest path literally opposite the garden. The house was very well equipped with clear instructions and catered for our group exceptionally well. Thank you Sheena for making an extended family gathering so possible and above all enjoyable

The location is special : right by the sea, totally quiet, a short walk or bike ride into town. Comfortable, clean house, plenty of hot water and heating if required. Very responsive agency. And Caroline, the owner, makes her own icecream ! Delicious, and available in local shops.

Tina was very welcoming, the place was immaculate, warm, cosy, homely. could have stayed longer. Games room was a fab addition, and the place felt secluded, surrounded by trees, whilst being close to the main road. would use again. Thank you Tina

A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

Great little find! Loved the outdoor space where we were able to sit and have food with family. Log burner was lovely in the evening and made it even more cosy. Shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will recommend and will definitely book again

I would highly recommend staying at Sandra's beautiful cottage. It is so well equipped, comfortable and cosy - a real home from home - and idea for long and short stays. Everything was immaculate and the bed and sofas were so comfy. And Cookie loved the dog bed and bowls that were provided. Sandra has provided lots of ideas for trips and places to eat locally. We will definitely return!

Lovely place to stay, plenty of space. Bedroom an especially nice space. Good bathroom, with advantage of an additional downstairs loo. New Forest was beautiful and the cottage is in a really good spot. Surprising downside, an old fashioned, non smart TV. DVDs were supplied, but this did seem a strange oversight.

Cathia was an incredible host and made me feel so welcome. I was staying with my bridesmaids for my wedding and Cathia made the trip extra special. She is super responsive and her place is beautiful! Thank you so much!

Wow! What a fabulous find - cute little cottage with everything with needed - clean/comfortable and a fab garden area to enjoy the sunshine - perfect location for cycling to the New forest or walking into Lymington.

Lovely stay here with family - the cottage was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable. Great location near the beach with walks from the doorstep. We would definitely come back!
