Holiday houses in Newington

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

Had a wonderful peaceful stay at Elsie’s. I bought my Golden Retriever with me so he loved going for a wonderful around the farm & area. So many sniffy spots. We didn’t venture far . But the nearest town is only 5 minutes drive. So you’re not to far away. Only thing I would change. Is there wasn’t a fully fenced yard, to let Obie go in. He stayed on a long line when outside. Would definitely recommend this if you need to unwind from your stressful life. Or you just want a peaceful break. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

fantastic stay at Sharon's where our family of four had a great time 😌 it is recommended if you got young kids especially as you don't have to follow them around for safety in one big room. very clean and very much thought of for everything on offer. we loved it

Just glorious. What a beautiful place to stay. Judy and Neil were lovely hosts and the Great Hall had so many lovely touches, from the expansive range of LPs and CDs, to the styling of the space, to the fresh flowers and Neil's wonderful sourdough. There's obviously so much care and thought put into the space for others to enjoy. The space is gorgeous with the morning light, and wonderful to relax outside in the afternoon. I had every intention of exploring the local area but chose to stay in, reading and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras and magpies. I feel like I had escaped from the world for a week, not just a weekend. I very much recommend listening to the CDs of Judy and Neil's own music too! I would love to come back again in the colder months to enjoy the fireplace. Even if it's a rainy weekend - to be nestled up in this space, switching off from the world, would be such a treat.

Loved the place and the fire pit. Such a lovely place to be. Nice and open plan. Tough with young kids and older folks trying to sleep, but we made it work. Close to the made road and Sovereign Hills. A little noisy from weekday traffic in the mornings, but not too bad. Very grateful for the lovely fire pit out the back that was VERY warm, and had a lovely time cooking a meal over it. Lovely BIG backyard for kids. Plenty of parking on the street as there is only one car space in the driveway. The bathrooms are as beautiful as they look!

We had a delightful stay in Cathy’s lovely home. All was stylish and well appointed with amazing views. Enjoyed the farm setting with chooks and sheep and alpacas as well as kangaroos visiting in the early morning and evening. Five stars!

This is the second time I visited this place, and all I can say is, I’d definitely visit again! The location is great, and the place had everything we needed. This would be a go-to place when I visit Ballarat. Troy is very clear and responsive with the communications, as always.
