Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Newbury

Brett’s house was exactly what we (a family of 4 travelling from far overseas) needed for a home-from-home. Warm and cosy, and with a fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of bathrooms, it was a shame to move on. Our teenage boys found plenty to do, from the piano to puzzles and games to an amazingly-stocked and diverse library of books. The location was ideally-suited for us, easy to walk into town, but equally easy to get out to the motorway and beyond within a few minutes. As host, Brett was responsive, yet respectfully distant. Everything was set for us to arrive easily following unplanned travel delays. We would definitely stay again.

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. Lots of free parking in the vicinity. Handy for a no frills stay.

A lovely place for a visit to Painswick

A great few nights stay alway,lovely location,easy to find with the instructions provided and a lovely place to stay and relax. Only thing missing for us was a pair of oven gloves so had to use the t towel which wasn’t great as we had just used it to wash up! Overall though great stay and would highly recommend.

Well equipped, extremely comfortable with lots of room including two living rooms so people could do their own thing. Good position, corner shop nearby but walking distance to city centre and to also to major supermarkets. Car parking space for 3 cars was useful. Highly recommended.

What a cozy place!! The perfect stay for my son and I. We arrived on a blustery evening and felt immediately cozy and at home. Extra bonus was that Sarah and Mike laid the fire for us. The location of the cottage is also brilliantly located being at the base of Gold Hill. We will def come back in the Spring. Thanks

A wonderful family in beautiful surroundings. We could not ask for anything more. Watching the birds in the morning and then having the pleasure of seeing the Red Kites during their feed will be a memorable experience. If time away from the hustle and bustle is what you need then this is the place for you. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful family pre Christmas get together weekend at park Dale Cottage. The house was in a beautiful spot and we found it spacious and well laid out for our extended family needs. Kate was welcoming and available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed walks into the local area and definitely needed our walking boots to go across the field into the woods which are beautiful and full of ponies! The kitchen area was well equipped, the beds comfy and it was perfect for young children with the lovely selection of toys and outside play area. We loved the big open plan space it was very social . Thank you Katie for the welcome hamper food bits. We really had a perfect weekend, thank you.

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

We visited last year and were so happy with the stay that we looked for availability for the New Year period. It is a lovely cottage with the advantage of more car parking space than other areas on the estate and in a quieter section. Everything required is present and it was another lovely stay with the family and dogs

We stayed for a couple of nights close to Christmas, wonderful stay in this beautiful period home, with the village looking very pretty and festive. Having use of a sauna and pool, while it was frosty outside; made our stay particularly enjoyable!

We had a wonderful stay over the New Year’s Eve period. The property was exactly as described, and Carina was so friendly, proactive, and quick to respond in all our communications. The area is absolutely beautiful, even in the heart of winter, and it’s conveniently close to transportation into London. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming little property, I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely time at Sarah's property. The bungalow was lovely and clean and spacious and perfect for our needs. It was very well situated for both the coast as well as beautiful woodland walks. The break was just what we needed and Sarah was very easy to get hold of and very helpful. Thank you. :-)

we really enjoyed our stay in the caravan and loved watching the view of the creek with the changing tide. Really lovely in the sun when tide was in. We were very lucky with the weather so only spent the evenings in the van but if we had been in more would have made use of the books,videos and games available. I have never seen so many varied books outside a library! The gas cooker was excellent and large fridge and freezer was useful. The welcome pack of biscuits and bread and eggs and butter milk and drinks in fridge was very nice. We felt very comfortable and the space in the bedroom was excellent with a comfy ( if a bit high for my short legs) bed. If we visit Hayling again we will hope its available. We eventually sussed the best way to get the car in and out the space when there was another large car parked so will know for next time.

As always, fantastic break with Gordon. His caravans are the only place we ever stay in southsea/Portsmouth area, you cant get a better host.

Amazing location. 3 minutes walk to beautiful secluded beach. Lots of children's activities within a short drive. Lovely house. Beautiful garden. An amazing selection of toys and games - no need to take any with you.
