Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks

Absolutely lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the garden is stunning. While the house is in a tightly packed little beach neighborhood, the property is situated and designed in such a way that you feel like you’re in a private tropical retreat. House is newly and beautifully renovated. Beds incredibly cozy. Just a very well done thoughtful Airbnb experience all around. My husband and I loved lounging by the easy-on gas fire pit with our wine at the end of the day, listening to the running stream in the front yard. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and just about lost their minds for the Smores kits that the hosts provided. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Can we go back on vacation?! What a beautiful vacation home to stay and spend our family spring break! The house was wonderful, great location, close enough to LA, Malibu, and other great towns but far enough away that your feel secluded. We never heard a plane or any sirens the whole time we were at the house. One of my favorite spots was sitting in the spa when a warm breeze would drift the smell of lavender, rosemary, blooming wisteria, orange and lemon trees.... The kids enjoyed the pool and living room where we played a lot of cards and board games. There were many hiking paths within 20 min or less locations. Todd was very accommodating, the house was well stocked with essentials and simple touches that made you feel right at home. We will return in the future for sure!

Staying at Danna's place was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. The location was perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully relax and recharge. Danna is an incredible host! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, being super responsive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back! This place is gorgeous! It is even better than described in the listing. Very spacious, quiet, clean, and beautiful views. Walking distance to Target, Trader Joes, a coffee shop and restaurants. We had a minor issue with check in but Amanda was incredibly responsive and arrived immediately to resolve it. I can't wait to stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Barbara is an excellent host. Very personable, kind, considerate and provided a very lenient check out time which was helpful because I ended up getting sick. The resident cat, Maumau, made our stay even better. Maumau is the cutest, cuddliest, sweetest cat queen. It was very thoughtful for Barbara to provide tea, coffee eggs, snacks, and other drinks. We are very grateful for you and your husband, as well as Maumau. Look forward to coming back when I’m feeling better. Thank you ☺️

Nicole was an excellent host, who promptly replied to any questions we had. The bnb was in a great location with plenty of restaurants around as well as local coffee and pastry shops. Everything was as the pictures described, thank you for a great stay!

Great place to stay. Everything was really clean and organized. If I had to be nit picky about something, I wish there were bigger bowls to eat out of in the kitchen and more trash bags. Besides that, Rajvir was a great host and very responsive. You have access to the gym and pool during your stay and I felt very safe in the gated community.

We had a wonderful stay in Sydney's home. The apartment was very quiet, clean and comfortable. It's in walking distance to coffee and restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds and sofa were comfortable. Very happy to have a parking space, elevator and AC. Sydney was also very responsive to a couple of our questions. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved location. We did buy a few foil 9 x 13 pans to cook in. Plus I bought some of my own favorite kitchen tools. I did buy a smaller cutting board. But the kitchen had several items.

Waterfront in Malibu. Great location next to Malibu point break. Right on water and easy access to everything around you. Fun place!

Great place on a great beach, plus pool and jacuzzi! Crystal was a wonderful host—easy to deal with, responsive and clearly cared about ensuring we shad a good stay.

We stayed at George’s place for 3 days. It was a great location, central to everything and the area was peaceful. George and Tiana were great hosts and had excellent communication. The place itself is very clean and well maintained, with a nice and cozy athmosphere. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone staying in LA

Nancy was very friendly and very quick to respond. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing. Plus so many restaurants, etc. were just a walk away.

Marc’s house is nice. The floors weren’t clean but the rest of The house was clean. Marc is a nice host. Allowed us to his home at last minute due to The Palisades fire. The house is nice. The sofa bed very comfy. Highly recommend. We would have extended our visit except The power went out, not Marc’s fault or control, and the stairs to the house were difficult due to our puppy that has a fractured spine and has to be lifted up and down stairs. Had the internet and power stayed on we would have loved to stay longer. Marc is super awesome to have let us bring our 3 Vizsla dogs to his house. A kind host.
