Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Newbury

I stayed at the Tiny House with my significant other and our dog for a small, private getaway during our anniversary. It was a nice, cozy little home for us which we all enjoyed. It was also great to be right next to a grocery store and near downtown Keene for food and activities.

Beautiful property in a very private, peaceful setting but still close to local amenities and rt. 89 & 91. We were very happy with the home and the host. Everything was as advertised and it was a very easy process. We would not hesitate to come back and recommend this property to others.

We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful location and the views are amazing!

It snowed the day we arrived, yet the road was plowed. Took dogs for walks, and the view was amazing. Very comfy house with fireplace, comfortable beds, and well equipped bathrooms. House is well situated, a short distance away from shops and restaurants in New London. And the host was proactive, providing clear instructions and quickly responding to questions. In short, it was a perfect getaway.

Loved this home! The hot tub was a huge bonus after a chilly hike. The space was cozy and for the three of us perfectly. The location was perfect, far enough that it felt private yet close enough to all the essentials!

This place is amazing. Clean, close to the slopes and super cosy. Host is the best we have dealt with. We got almost a foot of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed first thing in the morning. We’ll be back😃

This is my second time staying at Hilary’s home, and for good reason! My family loved gathering by the fireplace everyday, using the hot tub and sauna, and cooking dinners for our group of 8 in the well equipped kitchen every night! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Also love how close it is to the town of Woodstock (adorable with great shopping!) Hilary is very responsive and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point.

This home was beautiful and very clean. The huge windows and loft with high ceilings made it a beautiful space with lots of light. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of linens along with extra blankets and towels.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location. Heidi's was exactly what we expected and good value. The views in pretty much every direction from her home are just stunning this fall and we loved stepping outside each morning by quiet Opechee Lake. Our Labrador had a great time too with lots of space to run around.

Great stay! Kristin and Marty were amazing hosts and were very responsive. The place was very comfortable and clean, and the little touches like seasonal decorations, bagels and cream cheese, and creamer for coffee were so nice! I would absolutely recommend this place for a stay in Keene.

Sandra's place is simply amazing. The setting right on the lake cannot be beat. The host provided so many thoughtful little extras that are not typical from an array of spices to bug spray and sun screen. We plan to come back and stay here again in the future.

Loved staying in Korene’s place. It was very comfortable, bright, and clean. Korene was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home. I highly recommend the space and the host!!!

I’m in love with this place! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Love the deck overseeing the hills and the fireplace that kept us cozy indoors! The place was pristine!! The cows alone are worth the trip. Good for a group of friends or a family trying to have a relaxing weekend! No regrets!!

Perfect stay for us . We were able to ski as well as watch movies on the Roku tv during some windy , cold weather . Comfortable beds . Electric fireplace made the living area very cozy . We were able to visit family in the area and continue on to Ice Castles a bit north . We will be back when we can . Plenty of storage for bulky ski jackets and pants in coat closet . Didn’t use the washer and dryer but definitely would if we stayed longer . Thanks Tracy and Ryan . Ps very attentive snow removal during quite a storm. Also reached out to let us know they had some backup power ready to run the fridge and heat just incase. Super hosts indeed .

We really enjoy staying at this cozy apartment. Great restaurants and coffee shops close by. Town is a 5 minute walk. Can’t wait to go back next year!!!

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

When we got to the mansion, Andy couldn’t be more welcoming from the time we got there til the time we left. It was even my son’s 18th birthday and they made a cake for him. He recommended good restaurants to eat at and we felt at home in a short time. We will definitely be coming back again thank you Andy for everything you went above and beyond our expectations. The place is historic and it was so cool the history there as well. Very peaceful place.

Such a great deal considering the price and amenities. The location was quite a drive from our destination but it was close to other places like Okemo and Woodstock. Beautiful surroundings. A warm full size pool in the winter time is unbeatable. Place was clean when we arrived. The building was quiet and peaceful. No issues with noise nor difficulty with checking in.

Really nice place it had lots of fun amenities! My only complaint is that there were some basics that were missing from the kitchen (salt, pepper, olive oil, cutting board etc.).
