House holiday rentals in Newark

Just an absolutely gorgeous home and property. We were cursed with some bad weather, which might have really impacted our enjoyment at a lesser locale, but the historic home with all of its fireplaces and the perfect tranquility achieved looking out at the chickens and geese running around the backyard just made the weather woes evaporate. As one of us said sitting out back under the umbrella looking out on the yard "I feel like I'm living in the Calm app." A great escape for us city-dwellers. Tony & Scott were great hosts, making themselves virtually invisible unless requested (more so than necessary, frankly. ) The home was so clean and beautifully appointed. They might be relatively new to hosting but they are already all-stars. We hope to visit again.

Wow! Pictures do not do it justice. The place is brand new. They have everything you could want including bathroom supplies cooking basics fire wood paper goods. This place was simply amazing. I mentioned cooking a turkey and not only did they make sure a roasting pan was there but also supplied disposable ones. The place looks professionally decorated. They had directions for everything. The small touches were fantastic. They even supplied cotton pads for your face. The layout is fantastic. The views of the lake were beautiful. We were all sad to leave. As great as it was in the winter I want to come back in the summer. There’s a bar across the water that you could just take a raft over to!

We had a group of ladies from around the state, everyone said they would absolutely come back to the property again! We arrived and it was incredibly clean, smelled amazing and was setup for our bachelorette perfectly! Laura was responsive, helpful and went above and beyond. The pool and hot tub were perfect and so relaxing. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms extremely clean and everything you could ever need in the home.. bug spray, beach towels, pool floats, kitchen appliances (toaster, many coffee choices, etc). We hope to be back for another weekend at Laura’s rental!

This house had everything we needed for a successful girl's weekend! The kitchen was well-stocked, we loved the aesthetic and style of all the custom artwork, and the hot tub, sauna, and indoor pool were all perfection!! It was so close to Lancaster (super easy to grab groceries or a bite to eat) and a short drive off the highway. Justin and his team answered all our questions promptly. Can't wait to come back next year!

We enjoyed this home. I loved their heating system. It kept us very warm. The bed was comfy. This is a canal view. We were glad to see some water. The hot tub swim spa was amazing! This was our first time seeing one. In the summer it would be even more enjoyable leaving the doors open. Yes it was fully enclosed .

Nine family members stayed at the home for the weekend to attend a wedding. It was just perfect. Plenty of room, open and light. Had a great time in the game room, and spaces to get together and talk. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen very functional. One suggestion would be to add grab bars in bathrooms and garage steps for safety (mom did not slip at all but she is 91 and missed having them as she has them at home).

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The house is in a convenient location that also happens to be beautiful, on the Muskingum River, with hills rising to the east and west. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and couches comfortable, the house immaculate, and the hosts responsive to our requests. No complaints whatsoever.

We had a blast! We came down for a weekend with 3 couples and 4 children and the house was the perfect size and space! The pool is awesome and the lake and surrounding area are awesome! 100% will stay again and recommend to others!

Hilary’s property is stunning, perfectly located for downtown actives. Cleanest and most well decorated place I have stayed at in Columbus. Instructions were very user friendly. I would absolutely stay here again!

We always love staying here when in Columbus. It feels like home. We also love that there is a hot tub which is great for relaxing after a long day.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great, close to the center of town and walking distance to all Kenyon has to offer. The common room was very large, yet cozy, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. The sleeping areas of the house were separate from the living areas, which made it nice for the light sleepers. There was also a great office area and nice outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this place!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Rori's place! The location within the German Village made for a nice walk to a German themed restaurant. We found the home to be immaculate upon arrival with lots of nice amenities - coffee pods, interesting books, a soft throw blanket on the couch, makeup remover in the bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. Thanks, Rori, for a great place to meet up with family for the weekend.

We had a wonderful group stay at this property. The house was spotless and well-maintained, and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating. Getting in was easy which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Katie’s place was as described. It was very clean and spacious with plenty of room to hang out. BR’s were nice sized. Check in was seamless. Convenient door code. I didn’t have any issues to contact Katie but what communication we had was fine. Convenient location with off street parking. DQ across the street for late night snack! The only thing that wasn’t 5 stars for me is its location on a busy street. I’m a light sleeper and the road noise was bothersome at times. I did look at previous reviews and no one mentioned the noise so it might be me(i had the BR closest to the street). Overall we had a nice stay.

Our family had a wonderful stay in the home!!! It was very beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. The location of the home was very convenient as well with a wonderful host. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Columbus, OH!!!!!

I travel for work, The Union Jack was the perfect place to stay. Close to restaurants and shopping. The house was extremely cozy and clean. The garage is an added plus!!! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing bad to say about this space whatsoever!! Staci is an awesome host!! She was very easy to contact and quick with her responses!! Her space was clean, very roomy, the beds were super comfortable (one bed is even adjustable), and the refrefrigerator has alexa and plays music (tell me that's not nice). I would recommend this space to anyone visiting the Columbus, OH. area.

We loved our stay at George & Sharon’s Airbnb! It perfectly met the needs of our family and they were great hosts. Our dog especially loved walking the trails on the property. We plan on returning for another visit!

Just returned from a lovely stay at The Middlepath Cottage. This historic home has been updated and has all the modern amenities you could ask for. The home was clean and comfortable. Even with the snow and freezing temperatures, we stayed nice and toasty. We were in town for several Kenyon events and stayed five nights. I was able to work two full days including video conferencing with no interruptions. I wish we had found this place sooner. I highly recommend it.

I truly believe that you represent exactly what Airbnb was meant to be so much better than a hotel being away from my home for work I couldn’t have made it through this trip without you. Thank you so much.
