Earth house holiday rentals in New Mexico

This airbnb is in the best location. you can walk to old town, the farmer's market, and Canyon Road. It truly is the perfect location and serves as a wonderful home base. It was also relaxing to come back to, the beds were cozy and having two bathrooms was very convenient! We would stay again!

couldn't say enough about how great this place is! You WILL have to meander through the village, but it is SO worth it! once you get to the top of the mesa, it is breathtaking. Everything was ezactly as described and it made a few days of guy time w my dad and brother so relaxing!!! Hope to come again!

The house is lovely, the setting is breathtaking, Lynn is such a gracious host. The fact that we keep coming back year after year says it all.

Our stay at Sanjay’s house exceeded our expectations. The house is both beautiful and unique and ideal for a large family or two families to share. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was to make our stay comfortable. The addeded benefits of the house having a hot tub and a fire pit with an amazing view of the mountains made for even a more unique experience. The house also has two wood fire ovens which were not only fun to use, but added additional heat to the house which was lovely. Our family has three boys and the second floor was perfect for them to have their own space and living room to hook up their PlayStation…a wonderful amenity for everyone to have their own space at the end of a long day skiing. We highly recommend Sanjay’s house and are already planning our next stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Santa Fe Adobe Casita!! Julie’s incredible adobe home is adorned with so much art and character. The surrounding desert landscape is vast and breathtaking. The location is so quiet and peaceful - we loved birdwatching from the windows each morning. The house is so charming and has everything you need. Unlike other Airbnbs which have cheap interiors, decor, and appliances, everything in Julie’s Adobe Casita is thoughtful, is connected to local culture, and is high quality. We we were so sad to leave but feel very grateful for our week in this beautiful special home. Thank you!

We were three generations staying at rick and Lisa's house and we found it quite comfortable. There were two pack n plays for the babies and comfortable queen beds and linens for the adults. Easy to come and go for everyone with key pad locks which were flawless. The house was nicely prepared for us by their house manager with orange juice and half and half in the fridge and some coffee beans. We also appreciated the nice touches of wood and kindling prepared for the fireplace use and the several boxes of kleenex in bathrooms and bedrooms. Very close to the rail yard development which was great for Saturday morning farmer's market, restaurants, site Santa Fe etc. This house would be great for just about any type of group--couples, families, 4 or 5 singles. Excellent home base for all that Santa Fe and surrounding areas have to offer!

We felt completely at home at Leslie's place. The location was great and all communications were easy. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!

This is a great place for a couple to stay. Just a two minute walk to the old town. It was great to stay in an Adobe home in Albuquerque. It is amazing how cool it stays on a hot day, though the home is equipped with convenient heating and air conditioning, a great stove and well stocked kitchen, etc. Nice artwork too, with captured the feel of the southwest. Our hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Adobe at the edge of the wilderness. The adobe style home is beautiful as is the natural area surrounding it. A very unique experience and one which we hope to have a chance again to enjoy. Thanks to Jeffrey for helping us throughout our stay and providing great recommendations.

Loved Kelly's place. Everything about it was fabulous. The location in old town is near lots of great restaurants, shops etc. The tiny grocery across the street does great coffee and breakfasts. The style of the house and the suite I stayed in were also great: modern amenities with great new Mexican art on the walls. I arrived late in the evening and check in was very easy. The guide they send you has everything covered: you could just do what they recommend and have a ball. I hope to be back later this year and will look to book again without hesitation.

Samuel's place has it all! Quite neighborhood, a short and pleasant walk to the Historic Mesilla Plaza, spacious and very well equipped, easy parking, easy access, great value. We especially enjoyed the large, spacious, and very private backyard/patio, complete with firepit and comfy Adirondack chairs. All in all, a perfect Mesilla stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful! We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was one of the cleanest we have stayed at. The host was very responsive and helpful. The checkout process was simple. We are already planning on booking again for next year!

Linda was prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. In a binder she provided local recommendations for dining, the Farmer's Market (and a basket to use to take shopping at the market!) and clear instructions on what to do on the check out day. The casita was private, super comfortable and attractive. We would recommend Linda's place to anyone and will be happy stay here again if we return to Santa Fe.

We loved staying at The Hobbit House as a family of four! Three of us stayed in the apartment and our Lord Of The Rings fan slept hobbit-style. Wonderful spot all around - would definitely stay here again! (PS he says the hobbit bed is super comfy and the cloaks are the perfect addition!)

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our five nights here. We loved the solitude and hanging out together or spread out indoors or outdoors. The Earthship is so comfortable, it’s a pleasure relaxing in it after returning from day trips to Santa Fe, Albuquerque (National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Petroglyph National Monument, & more), Pecos National Historic Park (near Santa Fe), and Los Alamos (Bandelier National Monument, Manhattan Project National Historic Site, & more). Kitchen equipment, laundry appliances, and comfortable beds and furniture make the Earthship perfect for an extended stay. It was a joy having a fireplace lit in the evenings, and it was stunning watching the surrounding mountains change colors as the sun set. The night sky was spectacular with its stars and darkness, and the mountains’ silhouettes were so pretty. This AirBnB experience was magical and completed our vacation.

This is one of the better Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in recent years. It was just what we were looking for. Great access to the mountain and a nice little drive into town. Very peaceful and quiet at night. The property has a classic Taos eclectic feel to it with lots of natural light through. A lot of the quirks of a 120 year old home were fun to see too. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings and it’s well maintained. The weather was unseasonably warm and quite dry so we didn’t use the fire places, but there was plenty of wood stocked up. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for our purposes anyway. Josefine was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This aBnB is in a great Santa Fe location. You could drive into the nearby mountains or parks or just sit on your well kept deck and take in a great view. Full kitchen, bbq, fireplaces (3) stocked wood and starter stuff. Dont forget the stars at night. Are big and bright.

Overall, my sisters and I had a wonderful annual reunion at Meg's place. The home, amenities and décor were exactly as described, and I still don't think I saw all the wonderful artwork as it would take some time to explore each room to appreciate each piece. One thing don't think was listed on the amenities was a sleep number bed in the master bedroom. I was thrilled to see that remote and it made the stay even more comfortable. That area of Santa Fe is so peaceful and beautiful and we'll be back.

Had the most relaxing weekend at the Moon House! It was perfect for a solo trip. The bed was super comfortable and the space was homey and cute. The location was only a 5 minute drive to the Plaza! Besides the great location and space, Elizabeth was so helpful. The wifi wasn’t working when I arrived and she immediately called Verizon and then went to the Verizon store and got it fixed. It was so kind and made for a cozy weekend to watch movies on the Roku TV. Would definitely stay here again! I definitely recommend driving out to Ojo Caliente Spa to try the mineral hot springs.

This house, and location, are magical! I had an amzing time here with my family: stargazing on the rooftop deck with coyotes yapping in the distance, beautiful sunsets, <10 minute to natural hot springs on the bank of the Rio Grande. The house us also just so cool, like an art filled desert castle! Comfy and quiet, close to Taos dining and shopping. I hope to come back.

This place was immaculate. You can tell the attention to detail in many ways. We called this the Ritz Carlton of Earthships!
