Lake house holiday rentals in New Jersey

The house was ideally located with both bay views and close access to the beach. It was extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. All questions we had were quickly answered by the owner. We had a very pleasant stay, and would definitely rent again.

Katie was amazing! Very responsive and took care of everything immediately to make us feel at home. We were unaware that we had to bring our own bedding and Katie handled the situation with grace and allowed us to use her personal items, and compensated us for the inconvenience. Overall the stay was amazing, the house was beautiful, clean and well put together. Staying at Katie’s place is a must if you are in the area! Thank you Katie for a great stay!

Had an amazing stay. Jamie was super responsive and we left an item or two behind and were able to go back and get them. Would 100 percent stay here again if I came back.

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

Beautiful house and outdoor space! Being right on the lagoon and the inflatables are great during the day and the grill and patio are perfect for relaxing in the evening. Maggie was a great host. The instructions that she provided were very clear and she responded to messages promptly.

We are so thankful to have found this place! We were visiting family about 20 minutes from this spot and it was so nice to have a sanctuary to rest and recover in. We were traveling with 3 kids from 6mo to 6yr, so it was great to have space for them to run and play. The place came with all the amenities for the baby - pack n play, sound machine, black out curtain for the window, high chair, and a few toys. The beach is pretty, but the location is a little out there, so just know if you’re looking to go out to eat or for a quick grocery run, your options are very limited - not a problem as long as you plan accordingly. A big thanks to our hosts!

We enjoyed the spring break staycation with the family. Quiet, peaceful with the beautiful cherry blossom. We wish we could come back. Highly recommend.

Katty was a fabulous host! She was easy to communicate with, was proactive in getting us all details needed for our stay, and was very friendly. The home was exactly as pictured and was the perfect place for two families of 4 to spend a week. We enjoyed having separate spaces to spend time- the game room and movie room worked especially well for our group. The accommodations were super welcoming. And the location right on the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking throughout the week and having lakeside coffee each morning. Katty left sweet touches- snacks for the kids and the parents! She was also super helpful with recommendations for restaurants, ice cream, beach info, etc. We’d highly recommend spending time relaxing at Katty’s place!

What a great place to stay with your dogs. From the moment we entered, we felt dogs were welcome. The fact that it was pet friendly did not impact the quality of our stay. It was cozy, comfortable & impeccably clean. Our hostess was very responsive. I was concerned about the safety of the walkway due to ice & our Michelle had extra salt added to the driveway prior to our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to stay again.

Our stay at Tuckerton Bay Paradise was relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable. From grandparents, adult children, grandkids, to grandpup, there was something for all. The home is well organized and beautifully decorated. The garage is stocked with water toys. The back yard and dock area kept up us well entertained. The best airbnb thus far for me! Some friends and I stayed for a long weekend for my birthday. The house is a very special place, with both beautiful historic details and modern conveniences. We had a great time grilling on the patio and relaxing in the hot tub. The lake and property is very peaceful and a good place for bird watching. One day we took a beautiful spring walk around the lake at Parvin state park which is a short drive away. The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any rental we’ve stayed, with every tool you could possibly need! The rooms were spacious and bright, and every bed was very comfortable, including the pull out couch in the super cozy lower level. The 7 of us had a great time and would very happily return again! Ernesto was an excellent host and very quickly responded with any questions that popped up. Thanks to him & Alan for a wonderful stay!

This home was exactly what my heart needed, a beautiful place to relax and unwind. I loved everything about this home. The level of attention to detail and the quality of everything far surpassed my expectations. The views from every room in the house are just breathtaking. I feel extremely fortunate to have found this hidden gem. It is truly heavenly! The pictures are beautiful, but they do not do it justice! I cannot wait to come back!

Cozy, with the works! Nice sized bedrooms and a comfortable shared living room space. We loved how the deck went all the way around and had tons of seating. I always appreciate having a full kitchen even if I don’t use most of the appliances. The jacuzzi is an awesome bonus. Comfortable, well decorated space. The location puts it a little further from LBI, but the advantage is that it’s quiet and peaceful which is nice especially at night.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Biff's place! The house is very clean, open, and bright. The many windows and doors fill the home with warm natural light (which was very welcome in the middle of winter!). The house is well situated on a quiet street in Lake Como, nestled away from busier streets, while still being close to restaurants in Belmar, Spring Lake, and Asbury Park. Biff took extra care to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay - he even had the outlets covered, which was a very thoughtful touch since we were staying with our one year old 😊 The kitchen was well stocked with any supplies we needed for meal preparation (the most well stocked of any AirBnb we've stayed at!) and the beds and linens were quite comfortable. Biff was very friendly and responsive when we had any questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our time at the house. We can't wait to stay again soon. Mike & Ann were great host! We were there for a wedding and were extremely accommodating to our needs. We got to spend the weekend there so it made it nice to unwind and relax after the wedding. The place was just as described and super cozy. The location was close to grocery stores making it easy for us to get what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as well. Would love to come back for another long weekend !

Since I’m originally from the area, mostly knew what to expect but was surprised at how homey and perfectly located this adorable and functional cottage is. My goal was to decompress and wander to look at homes possibly to purchase. So easy to walk - roads easy to follow between Main Street and river. So many green walks and parks but best are the historic homes.

Great stay with my family. Our kids loved the beach and the neighborhood is immensely walkable. The house is small but super clean and has all the necessities. Marc even offers a list of local recommendations for guests and his picks were always spot on -- from the restaurants, to the bagel shop, to the ice cream store. Easy checkout, too.

Jake’s place is so comfortable and charming. Absolutely loved making this our home away from home for a few weeks. The property is stunning and so peaceful. The house had everything we could need!

John and Kelley were AMAZING hosts! I rented the house for the couple days before and after my wedding and John and Kelly made my experience better than I could’ve asked for. The house is exactly as pictured, the rooms are so bright and airy and it was very peaceful and relaxing to be there. The kitchen was amazing and the beds were comfy. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Great stay at Deja Blue. House is very clean, cozy, and the HVAC works great. I have stayed in many Reno’s in the area during this time of year and always had issues with the houses staying warm. This home was perfect for our family of four and the location is very private and quiet. Close to everything in town. The only comment I would make is that there is only 1 TV in the home (in the living room area). This made it difficult to entertain 2 kids and the adults during down time. But iPads came in handy! Would totally stay again on my next trip to the area!
