Jill is an amazing host who is very responsive & considerate, and Bees Place is very welcoming! The home's architecture is great, it's furnished with so many interesting details, and is stocked up with various supplies & amenities that I've never had at other Airbnbs. This was such a peaceful getaway with plenty of things to do/eat locally (even if you're not going into the National Park). Tryon Farm is wonderful - well maintained, lots to explore, and most importantly I felt safe as a solo female traveler (sufficiently private without complete seclusion). My four-legged child was in her element on Tryon Farm and we already can't wait to go back!

This was our second stay. The place has so much character and the fireplace and masonry heater are splendid in winter. I can just sit in front of the fire all day enjoying it and the view of the channel. Once I am there, it is hard to leave that peace and coziness.

Linda and Doug were exceptional hosts. Very warm and welcoming, gave great suggestions for to-do’s/food in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfy! We hiked through the woods and had a fire - perfect overnight getaway. The place felt isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely revisit! Thank you both so much for such a warm welcome.

I have been renting Airbnb for years and hands down John’s house was the best house I have ever stayed at. The beds were incredible ( please tell me where you got your pillows and bedding). There was lovely screened porch and great room. Every amenity was available. It was a very special weekend and we had a front row view of many deer in the area. Thank you for being such a great host. We will be back !

Amazing! Charlotte's property is beautiful and welcoming. Perfect amount of space for our getaway weekend with an easy walk to the beach and access to nearby restaurants, shops, etc. Kitchen and baths are fully equipped and stocked with everything you could possibly need and the beds are all very comfortable. Outside seating around the firepit and hot tub is plentiful. Charlotte is a wonderful host. Very responsive, very proactive, and provided tons of recommendations for the area. We loved it and can't wait to plan another stay!

We met here with college friends and their families and had a wonderful time. There is a wide variety of books, games, and activities; we really didn’t need to bring our own! The hosts were very responsive and even drove out with trash bags when we messaged that we couldn’t find any. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The proximity of the property to fun things to do was perfect. Beds were wonderful and the home was very clean. If I am ever back in Michigan City I will definitely stay here again. Host is super responsive, friendly, and provided us with a great deal of information.

I don’t think the pictures do this house any justice. House is tremendously big. Lots of space for large families. The views? Amazing. With the vineyard next door and the woods surrounding it, it was a great view. Very ample parking. Easy to find and close to the highway. There’s plenty of wineries near the house. Also grocery stores for any quick essentials. Back to the house. Very clean and big kitchen. Has everything you need from plates to cups. The living room is big. Tv is huge to keep the kids entertained. It was a little chilly so we stayed inside. But the deck looks really new and big with a girl. The backyard was huge. Rooms were big with nice beds and clean as well. All bathrooms were super clean and big. Basement had an entire other living area with rooms as well. Pool table kept everyone entertained. Dining room had a nice table for the large family dinners. In conclusion, I will definitely love to book this for the summer. You won’t regret it.

Jesse's cabin was very quiet and peaceful. Everything is exactly like the pictures, the kitchen is well stocked, also the bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable, the windows have blackout curtains which allowed us to sleep in late every day... The working station and WiFi were also great. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive to local stores and services. A full disclosure: there's a train line somewhere nearby in the area but we practically couldn't hear it from inside the cabin. Never bothered us and it didn't wake anybody up. We just noticed it when walking outside and one train happened to pass by during the day. Overall a great experience, the cabin is very relaxing and perfect for a relaxing getaway, and Jesse is very responsive and attentive. We are planning to come back when time permits.

My family of three had a great stay. Our daughter had a hockey tournament at the Compton ice arena and Stephanie was so helpful. We even thought we’d have to extend our stay, so a bit of back and forth communication. She was there to help if we needed to stay longer or cut our time short. Loved her support. From when I booked the house to when I checked out. The house is adorable. Great attention to detail with their AirBnb. Every little detail was thought of which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Would 100% be back.

Very nice home with many thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with herbs, spices, lots of cookware, etc, which we really appreciated. The king bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend taking time to use the sauna! We loved it!

We loved our short stay here! Small but cozy for a family of three - any more and it could have been tight for us. The screened-in deck was a great place to hang out in the evenings, and my husband even had a nice chat with a friendly neighbor. We spent most of our time at the nearby beach, bakery, and restaurant (all within walking distance!). We would love to come back again!

Hilary is a welcoming host and was excellent with communication, working with us even prior to our booking. Her response is time very fast. The home is spacious and offers many amenities for a large group or family. The furnishings are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and rustic. We even saw deer roaming around ! Lots to do in nearby towns along Lake Michigan. Would highly recommend this property for a fun family getaway.

This place was so wonderful- it is a feast for the eyes! The arrangement of furniture in the living room is so smart and makes for wonderful hang outs. It is obvious that Karen has the gift of hospitality! She truly thinks of and provides everything you might need to be comfortable during your stay…. And then some! We enjoyed watching the beautiful snowfall from the large front windows. We were glad we had 4 wheel drive as there was no plowing happening in this rural lake area. We would not have changed it, though. It was just beautiful. We look forward to coming back to experience the cabin in warm weather, too!
