This apartment is in the heart of Nevada city. Walkable to many great restaurants and small shops. The apartment itself has so much character and was very charming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming old home in Grass Valley. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the surroundings and an easy walk to downtown. The house had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grass Valley who wants to be close to all the local attractions.

Peggy's place was a charming getaway. The garden area was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing under the stars in the hot tub at night. The town itself is beautiful and looks like a fairytale suspended in time. Peggy was a great host and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again!

we enjoyed our second stay in the Nest, this time in the winter. It was lovely and peaceful. This time we brought our 21 year old daughter with us. Carol had made up the futon bed in the living room for her. we love the location of Carol's place. It's an easy walk into downtown ( a few hills) and fun to walk back after dinner and drinks, taking a flashlight is helpful. The Nest is a half mile or so from a trailhead that traverses the creek on a pedestrian suspension bridge that's super fun to cross. You can take the trail into downtown Nevada City...maybe two and a half miles if you take the trail instead of the more direct route into downtown. It's a beautiful walk during the day. Carol's unit is clean and quiet. There is no kitchen but a small microwave, mini frig and ways to make coffee/tea work for breakfast with the pastries and OJ we brought with us. We like dining out downtown. Carol is very responsive. two thumbs up!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angela's Airbnb in Nevada City. The location is amazing - it's close enough to Nevada City where getting in and out is doable, but isolated enough to feel private and comfortable. The Down Under home that we stayed in was immaculately decorated and made us feel at home. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. I'll definitely considering coming back here in the future. Thank you Angela.

Perfect location, very clean and spacious, and Gary was very quick to respond when we had trouble with the door code when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again!

Wow! What a gem in Grass Valley! My partner, my dog and I stayed at Mary’s place for 2 months. The space is down some outside stairs on the bottom floor of a home, but it is totally private. You have a large covered porch outside and 2 big sliding glass door- fenced backyard was our dog’s favorite feature! Gorgeous sunset views and views of downtown GV. Bathroom was spacious, kitchen very well equipped. Living room much larger than the pictures make it look and when you walk in, the entryway is like a little office space! It was perfect for us working remotely. Great internet as well. Since you’re up a pretty steep(but short!) hill, not much foot traffic going by despite being less than a 5 minute walk from downtown GV. Nice neighborhood for walking the dog with hills, trees and slow streets. Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Especially for the price! Highly recommend and will be staying here for any future trips to the area.

This is a beautiful place to stay and I would say better than expected. Everything was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and relaxing... and there was fruit, scones and croissants waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. The bed and bedding was very comfortable upstairs with a cute kitchen and dinette downstairs. Bri met us at the door when we arrived to give us the key. My best friend and I travel together and enjoy trying out new places. I highly recommend staying here :)

This place is great, close enough to walk to down town Nevada city and all its shops/restaurants but still peaceful and private; it’s spacious cozy peaceful and well kept, definitely a good place to land.

This location cannot be beat. The space has everything you need to be cozy, and Lee Ann is a responsive and informative host. The space is bigger than the photos but I will say lacks many kitchen tools, so if you need something (other than plates, bowls, knives, etc.) specific be sure to pack it!

Staying with Danny & Joanie was like staying with old friends. Communication was quick, clear, friendly & welcoming. Close to town feeling worlds away. Their place was as described. The pictures cannot encompass the serenity or breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views from the large deck. The swimming hole was absolutely amazing! They had numerous sitting areas by the water & it was exquisitely peaceful. The water was so refreshing on a warm summer day & the waterfalls & pools were simply gorgeous. That swim was certainly one of the highlights of our journey, as was meeting Danny & Joanie. They were so kind & thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met without ever being intrusive. The bed & couch were comfy. The kitchen & bathroom had all the essentials along with many little touches like flashlights by each bedside. We enjoyed meals out on the expansive deck. We left refreshed & feeling we had 2 new, wonderful friends. We highly recommend their place for a comfy & relaxing stay.

Mike is really what makes this place so special. He is the most accommodating host I have ever worked with and I have been using AirBnB for almost 10 years now. If you need anything, he really wants to make sure you have your needs met. The carpet is really soft. The patio area with fake grass is great for the dogs to run around in while still being able to keep an eye on them. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. There was only 1 knife and no cutting board, but I'm sure had I asked for more he would have grabbed me some from the main house or went and bought some. The washer and dryer he has are AMAZING! I have never used such an efficient and good-sized w/d. His place really has everything you'd need for an extended stay. I will say, it's maybe not the best decorated or super spotlessly, sparkly clean and updated. However, everything worked out for us during our stay and I would absolutely stay here again. Mike is such a great host!

Chris and Leigh were really hospitable. The house was very clean and comfortable. I can say that it was the most peaceful time we had. I definitely recommend it. Thank you very much Chris and Leigh for your service and generosity.
