Holiday rentals with a patio in Nelson City Council

We didn’t want to leave this sweet cottage in Nelson’s historic South Street. It’s the perfect location for a city stay: charming, walk everywhere, yet it’s also quiet. There is a courtyard at the rear of the cottage for a private outdoor space - lovely and sunny in the afternoon - and the view from the eastern bedroom overlooks historic cottages to the cathedral. We also appreciated a car park in the CBD. As well as the courtyard, another highlight was the bathroom with its clawfoot bath and floral loo! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jason!

Great, central, close to beach and restaurants. Especially liked that the apartment was so big and that it was possible to be also on the balcony. There was everything we needed.

Great apartment with all the necessities you need, in a very convenient location with great restaurants and cafes in walking distance. My partner and I highly recommend this Air BnB! Hosts were also amazing and easy to deal with, they made our stay very easy and comfortable :)

I seldom try a product that exceeds expectations but this Airbnb choice was better than I had expected and I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a base to work from in Nelson.

We had a lovely stay. Modern, spacious and a great location.

This was one of the top Airbnb's I have stayed in. It was very spacious and very clean. The large windows and indoor-outdoor space was gorgeous and it was fun to see the dogs and kids playing in the park. It was well stocked for what we needed (espresso) in the couple days there - though we didn't cook so can't speak to that. There were plenty of towels and the soaps smelled really nice. Unlike some Airbnb's, they aren't stocking with the cheap things, they have high quality furnishings. The parking was nice and check out was easy - though checkout is probably easiest with 2 people. Gabrielle, who met us to check us in, was prompt, so kind, thorough, and had good recommendations. The communications were quick and the staff at Holiday Nelson were very friendly. If I get to make it back to Nelson, I would 1000% try to stay here again and I'd highly recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for the lovely stay and start to our first holiday in NZ!

Pristine, contemporary apartment in a very central location. Nanette was great with check-in and made sure that we knew how everything worked. The two bedrooms and baths are in the bottom level with the living space/kitchen up one floor. We didn’t do any cooking but I think that there were adequate pots and pans, utensils, etc. This unit does have some stairs to get to it in case mobility is an issue.

Spacious and comfortable home filled with the owners treasures. Great trails for walking, running and biking behind the house. Short walk in to Nelson city. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook at home, including homegrown veges and citrus from Hilma’s garden. Deck is lovely to relax on and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. Beautiful outlook. Hilma is a great host and was quick to respond when I had some queries. As well as the trails we enjoyed frisbee golf in the nearby park which is also dog friendly - you can hire discs from MD Outdoors. Had a delicious dinner at Nahm (short drive from house) and great coffee and breakfast at Bobby Franks Cafe (walkable). Connings Pop Up great for fresh fruit and vege.

Beautiful space! Beautiful views. Loved everything about this stunning home. From the custom lighting to the art work to the blacked out kitchen and mirror. I enjoyed the music features on the TV and spent al lot of time on the balcony getting sun. Parking wasn’t hard I just had to park down the street and walk up but no problem. There were people staying in the unit downstairs so I made sure to keep the music at a reasonable level but never really heard a peep from them. Highly recommended if you are looking for a space to treat yourself in. I definitely felt the beautiful energy you have put into your space.

Vicki was a wonderful host! The house is right on the water and has the most beautiful views, especially of sunsets. We would definitely stay again, though would note that we did have to watch our toddler carefully to make sure she didn’t go into any of the cupboards marked as private. This is likely not an issue for most people, who presumably have more self control than a 2 year old! :)

Convenient to town but far enough out to enjoy more residential living. Very clean and nice area for all the gather. Great communicator and very flexible to help us with check-in. Recommend a stay here!

A Magical Stay in Nelson! We had the most wonderful stay at Brenda’s place in Nelson. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—the home is incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished. The lovely gardens added to the charm, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Brenda went above and beyond as a host, even surprising us with some thoughtful treats that made our stay extra special. Our family absolutely loved everything about the house, and its location was perfect—close to the beach, airport, cafes, bars, markets, and the city. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you, Brenda, for an unforgettable experience!

His place is soo nice and his Jacuzzi is amazing, even very cold night outside we used this hot tub and we don't wanted to come out of it. Thanks for the best service and reasonable price. Will definitely come back to this place.
