Beachfront holiday rental in Nelson Bay

we loved staying at Clare's place, everything we needed to have an enjoyable holiday was supplied. Kids loved the wii, DVD selection and board games. beds were super comfy, lots of lovely light and our dog absolutely loved the dog beach.

This is one of the most thoughtfully managed Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The place is cozy, stylish, and full of small surprises that made us feel truly welcomed and at home. You can really sense the care and intention behind every detail. Communication with the host was smooth and heartfelt from the start. If I ever return to Newcastle, this would definitely be my top choice. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

2nd year here for her annual girls weekend absolutely perfect great location beautiful host and everything as described. Great price for a relaxing time.

My partner and I, and our 3 kids (between 5 and 8) had a great time! The house has a hot-water outdoor shower to get properly clean after a day at the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise across the ocean from the large living room windows. The kitchen has PLENTY of cooking utensils and crockery. TV has all the apps. The ping pong table downstairs was also worth it. It's useful to know that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs, and one queen bedroom is upstairs where the rest of the action is. The front balcony is nice and spacious, and the deck out to the back is HUGE! The location is extremely quiet, you can hear the waves on the beach. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk to get to the beach, it's very, very close.

Elizabeth's place was fantastic for the two of us. It was pristinely clean and tidy. The photos matched the description of the property accurately. Location was perfect, being 300m from a patrolled beach, and a short 500m walk to patrolled ocean baths. It was near to plenty of cafe's and restaurants, and close to bus stops. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, with excellent communication skills. She was proactive with instructions and information to assist us in our stay, including suggestions for activities alternate to the beach/pool. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay as a group of friends at this wonderful Airbnb! The location couldn’t be better—having the beach just across the street made our trip truly special. Our host was exceptionally helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed, and provided great local recommendations. The place itself was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a group getaway. The only minor watchpoint is the 1.5 bathroom setup, but we made it work without any issues. We absolutely loved our time here and would love to come back!

Narelle’s place is situated perfectly 2 mins walk from beautiful Little Beach and other attractions/activities in this area of Port Stephens. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may possibly need as well as games and rackets for the tennis court. Parking was available on site. Additionally Narelle was quick to respond to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend Narelle’s place. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

My partner and I had such a lovely stay at Nicole’s place. It was quiet and private with walking distance to the beach. Great location for morning beach walks and dinners at the nearby Caves hotel. Nicole was very responsive and left us notes with great recommendations for food in the area. The only sad part was we wished we could’ve stayed longer! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a beach getaway. Thanks Nicole!

Very homely, perfect location for walking down to Bateau Beach or along the coast track. Kids loved the pool which is a lot bigger than it appears in the photo. Gwendoline was very hospitable.

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

We had a fantastic stay at Brian’s apartment. He was a wonderful host, going above and beyond by offering us an early check-in and late checkout without us even having to ask—such a thoughtful touch that made our trip even more relaxing. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a cot with linen and sheets for our toddler, as well as plastic cups and bowls—small details that made traveling with a little one so much easier. The view was lovely, and the pool was both clean and at a perfect temperature, making it a great spot to unwind. Thank you, Brian, for a great stay! We’d love to return.

Angela’s place is off the beaten tourist track, and was just what we wanted. It’s in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The unit is high above the street with views of the surf. We loved it!

This property was perfectly located between the beach, ocean pools, park and local restaurants. Beautiful beach views from the balcony and very homey with everything needed for a comfortable stay for us and our Children. The Hosts were fantastic in their communication and very clear instructions were left for checking in with ease.

Gail was extremely responsive and accomodating. The place itself is so clean! We felt right at home. Aircon was a treat and the beach was a 2min walk down the road. I highly recommend staying here, and will come again! Thank you Gail :)

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in an idyllic setting opposite the ocean. One of my friends had reduced mobility at this time but could still enjoy the 270 degree views of the sea from the apartment. A great place to relax and close walking distance to The Entrance shops and beaches. Luisa was very responsive and addressed all my questions, flexible with check in and check out which was simple.

Wonderful place to stay and met all our needs. Craig’s house is in the perfect spot for the beach and the other activities we were there for. Craig was so easy to deal with and was so responsive and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a spot in The Entrance

We had an excellent time here. The place was beautiful and just what we needed for a quiet Easter break away from the city. Charlie was great and very helpful and responsive. The place itself was very clean and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone considering this property. Thanks again to both of you.

David & Mandy were great hosts and the accommodation was everything and more that we needed. Communication was exceptional! Location of the accommodation is brilliant with beach one side and lake the other, the apartment was clean and cozy and it was a perfect place to call timeout. We had a lovely stay!
