Island Paradise in Yasawa Village

PeterRating, 5 stars83 months ago
The Red Bure is comfortable, screened and has an ensuite. It is right on the beach and has great views of the surroundings and the village. The description of what to expect was well written. The hospitality was outstanding, the food was fresh daily and plenty of it with plenty of fish and fresh home grown vegetables and fruit. Each meal was prepared by a different woman from the village and we drank the rainwater without a problem. Kana vinaka na kakana! The excursions to Sawa- I- Lau cave was amazing and a must. We also went fishing and snorkeling and a picnic with fresh caught smoked fish. It was all dependant on the tide and we enjoyed just sitting around talking to the villages. Our week long stay could not have been any better- marvelous hosts, welcoming villagers and amazing children. Thanks Sai, La, Eta and the whole village. We will be back

Ocean View Spacious Eco-Cabin in YASAWA PARADISE!!

JanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A bit of confusion about the capacity of the room because of errors in the airbnb listing, but it was straightened out when we arrived. Basic accommodations, but good food, plenty to do, great snorkelling around the island, even an ice-cream (popsicle) stand almost next door. The friendliest people you could hope to meet!

Private Sea-View Cottage in Nature Lodge

Understand what a Fijian homestay is before booking, but if that’s what you’re looking for I can’t imagine a better host and stay. Beautiful family hosts, lots of delicious food, and simple living. The bures are a little older than in the photos but very clean on arrival. Electricity is now 24 hours a day unless there is no sun. A great experience and glimpse at Fijian culture. We plan to return one day.

We really enjoyed our time with Rosa, Evelyn and the kids. It was just right for a few relaxing days in an idyllic setting. The excursions to snorkel were great and Evelyn's food was also very tasty. Our daughter had a great time with your girls. Thank you for everything. Bula and Vinaka

White Sandy Beach - Ocean Front Private Cottage

Once you start your search to stay in the Yasava islands, you come across so many similar places. There won't be much difference in what you'll eat or what the additional activities will be but the people who make the place will be the ones you will remember most. And thanks to the people I will remember this resort :) Mela was so caring, a great cook, and always positive! All other staff members were always there for us, making sure our stay was perfect ! Go there, relax, get your coconuts, you will surely enjoy :) Don't forget your snorkeling mask :)

Freedom Traditional Homestay

This was such a lovely stay. It was hazel free to get to, host was super friendly, and the surroundings were just like paradise. We enjoyed 3 comfortable nights and 4 beautiful days enjoying the best home cooked food, jewellery making with some of ladies form the village, a beautiful hike to the top of the island mountain, snorkelling with sharks along with the brave children form the village, enjoying the company of the neighbourhood dogs, and relaxing, reading and sunbathing at the beach. Everyone we met in the village was super friendly and welcoming and never hesitated to greet us with "Bola!". It truly felt like coming home to a loving community.

Ocean Bure @ Coral View Resort with Ferry Discount

RhiannonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Had a great stay at Coralview. Food plan seemed expensive but food was really lovely and lots of it! Room was nice and clean. Activities were amazing, especially the caves and the blue lagoon snorkelling. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Everyone wanted to make sure our stay was special and memorable. One thing to note, they do accept card but with a 4% surcharge but also had very little in the way of change when buying drinks so lots of small cash is recommended
