Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nahant

Kate's house in Gloucester is an ideal place to experience one of the best beaches on the North Shore. Kate's home accommodated the eight of us very comfortably; the proximity to the beach was second to none and Kate and Michelle's response to a couple of minor issues we had was expeditious and friendly. There aren't enough superlatives I could use to recommend Kate's place.

Randy's house was amazing. Right on the beach. Stunning views and everything we could need. Randy was a great host and very flexible. Would definitely go back!

We rent a house on PI every year and this house was perfect for us. We could walk to the basin with our SUP’s, easy walk to beach and stores and ice cream! We loved the double outdoor shower option for the kids after a long sandy day at the beach and they supplied all the beach toys, umbrellas and chairs! The rooftop deck was our favorite part we watched the sunset every night. We would rent this house again if the dates line up!

This is a wonderful place for a family gathering. There can't be too many 17th century rentals (1686?) with amazing original fireplace and wood. We enjoyed exploring the house - 3 staircases, many fireplaces, surprising rooms and passageways. Very nicely decorated rooms. Large kitchen and pantry, comfortable seating in living area, on screen porch, outside on large lawn.

We rented Veronika's home for a work related trip to Boston. The home was great, perfectly located for our needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Neeton. Hope to be back next year.

This was our second time staying at Alex's place, and it was excellent both times. We cook for ourselves a lot when traveling, and the kitchen is great for that. The house is comfortable and close to the T. Alex is kind and responsive.

I’ve stayed at Karen’s Airbnb multiple times while traveling for work, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. Karen is a great host—she’s quick to respond to messages and makes sure everything is just right. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it perfect for both work trips and relaxing stays. I always look forward to returning and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

Really comfortable, great location, great hosts. If you're sick of soulless passive income properties, decorated in shades of grey and taupe, that no person ever actually lives in, then this is a place for you. It's fun, it's comfortable, it's worn in a good way, it's decorated in glorious eclectic clutter. It has *soul*. Practicalities: Super comfortable mattress, really generously and fully stocked kitchen with good pans and knives. (Tons of condiments and supplies). Neighborhood: Great bakery/coffee shop on the block and tons of really good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Traffic starts early but I didn't really hear it in the front bedroom. Quirks: Bathroom is downstairs with the bedrooms. 1850 architecture, so a serious lack of outlets and the space can be drafty. The various space heaters more than did the job though. Host: Great communication and they seem like genuinely awesome folks. Very welcoming!

A group of friends and I needed a nice place to stay in Boston for a weekend trip and Wally's place was a great spot! Plenty of room and in a nice location, quick access to great breakfast food and nearby grocery stores, it was a great spot to stay. Our group had plenty of fun. We had quick access to downtown and it was easy to find. The kitchen was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of pots, pans, and general use dishes as well as a nice dish washer. Watch your head going upstairs and downstairs, the overhangs are lower than I'm used to but that's how the cookie crumbles. We had trouble finding the air mattress and couldn't get/use the pullout couch, but we made do and am not discrediting Wally in any way. If you plan to use them I'd ask for Wally to set the air mattress out if possible. I'd lock the door to the basement as well when you're not in the home. Overall great trip, 5/5 stars and would definitely stay again if I was in Boston.

What a great and lovely apartment in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We felt comfortable and content. We appreciated the roomy spaces including a large living room, very comfortable bed, lots of closet space. All kinds of thoughtful touches such as there being enough towel rods in the bathroom as well as spaces to set down toiletry kits, and plenty of coat hangers in the closets. Ellen is a superb host—always responded quickly to any questions we had and always kind and helpful. We had a snow storm one night while there and the driveway and sidewalk to the house were plowed and swept and even the snow was scraped off our car early the next morning so we were able to leave to get to an appointment. Thank you, David! We very much look forward to a return visit.

I can’t say enough good things about this stay! This little lake house was exactly what I needed—peaceful, cozy, and absolutely spotless. It was the perfect spot to unwind, drink coffee on the deck, and just soak in the quiet. The house itself was super clean . You can tell the host really puts thought into making guests feel welcome. The customer service was great—good communication, thoughtful touches, and just an overall warm and inviting experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting, this is it. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Great place to stay! Paul and Michelle were great host. The place was very clean and nice. They were very responsible to any issue. The place is what we expected as in the photos. If we ever in the area again and the place is available would stay, great great place would recommend!

Loved this place. Comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms and floors. Washer and dryer in unit is clutch!

Excellent location! Great stay for a family away from home! House was magnificent and modern. Beautiful upstairs with an open layout and a downstairs living room. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Close to the Newton center to access the (T)rain so Boston is easily accessible. Great communication with Amir! He responded quickly with any questions I had! Would definitely come back for another family vacation!

The host communicated well and was very thoughtful. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the heating unit was a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, we had a great stay.

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! Thanks for having us... we loved every minute!! 🧙🧙🧙

We spent a couple of months at Loch Link while our home (a couple of towns over) was being renovated. Mike and Erica were helpful throughout the process and did their best to make us feel like we had a home away from home. It was a hectic change to our schedules, especially with 2 young kids, but we were grateful to have excellent hosts and a cozy place to stay. We moved a lot from our home that we ended up bringing back, because the rental already had most of what we needed. The weather only allowed us a few swims in the pool but it was definitely a hit with the kids.

Beautiful and quaint New England house with great antique decor (we loved the framed french cafe menus). Mary and Dana were both super attentive and responsive; they clearly care about the home. They gave us great recommendations for things to see and do in Manchester and the surrounding areas (I recommend Singing Beach!!) I didn't think we'd use the elevator at all but it was handy for bringing our luggage up and down. The bed was super comfy. We loved sitting by the pool in the afternoon! We'd gladly stay here again if circumstances bring us back to Manchester-by-the-Sea.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!
