Family-friendly holiday rentals in Muskoka Lakes

Our stay was amazing. The views were breathtaking. Really good for a big family. Everybody had lots of space the place felt very welcoming. My kids loved the game room. Jamie and Laura are very responsive and attentive to our questions while we stay there. Our all we give it a five star experience thank you for everything Jamie and Laura

The cottage - which is the basement of the house where the hosts live - was very cute and spacious. It is easy to find, and close enough to Toronto to be convenient, while remote enough to feel secluded. There is no kitchen, but it’s easy to get around that issue with the BBQ, especially for a short stay. The hosts were quite kind and the facilities very nice! My main issue was that the extra $40 per night per additional person felt a bit expensive (we added a guess at the last minute, going from 5 to 6 guests and were charged and extra $75+). I understand that the breakfast is included, however the price increase didn’t feel justified. The breakfast tasted good, but the portions were quite small (re: the price) (for example 2 pieces of French toasts each, a small bowl of fruit to share and coffee) and the “vegetarian option” was just to receive less food, instead of receiving a substitute. PS. In the winter the steps out of the hot tub are very very slippery, be careful.

Everything was great! Appreciate that amenities and toiletries are well stocked and prepared for arrival and for length of stay. Place is next to major roads but very peaceful and comfortable. Close by all attractions and activities in Blue Mountain. Wonderful and relaxing time spent :)

We absolutely love this AirBnB! We come back again every year. Its a beautiful and quiet spot. The new hot tub is awesome too! Will be back again soon

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Nice home in a quiet and safe feeling neighbourhood. Easy to find and access. Big back yard for kids and dog (although not fully fenced, which was fine as we brought our own leash). We arrived from out of province (via flying) and were surprised to find the beds already made with the necessary linens (we had packed our own via suitcase as per the ad details). But we appreciated the kind gesture had we somehow failed to bring our own! The kitchen is updated (so different from pictures) but still has all the appliances and cooking items a family would need for their stay. Lots of stores (grocery, banks, restaurants, Canadian Tire etc) are within a 10 min drive or less, making “going into town” to grab stuff a breeze. Plus having access to a hot tub, sauna and BBQ are a very nice treat :) We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated Tamila’s prompt responses for any questions we had. Would happily stay again!

Great stay, exactly as described and was the perfect location for our friend’s bachelorette weekend! Clear and easy instructions / communication from Victor! Would recommend and come back!

We stayed at Norman & Ruth’s place Friday - Sunday. We were welcomed by Norman upon arrival, he gave us a tour and showed us all the in and outs of the cottage. Norman and Ruth were kind enough before arrival to provide us with local events happening the weekend we were staying. The cottage was COZY!!! No wifi- the perfect place to disconnect. Which we did lots as it rained through out our stay, we had plenty to do to keep us busy. (Many board games, lots of movies, fully functional kitchen). On dry time- We took the kayaks out to the mini private beach is perfect for some romance. Yard games, and hot tub to enjoy while the weather was great. Beautiful fire pit to get cozy at. Overall we felt comfortable here, it was clean, (not buggy!!), and we even tried the locals pizza - bedrock cafe, would recommend! Thank you Norman & Ruth for an amazing stay. We will be back!!

We had an absolutely magical stay at this lakeside cottage! The attention to detail in the space was remarkable, with every corner thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it a joy to cook meals, and the wood-burning fireplace added the perfect cozy touch for our winter evenings. The views were breathtaking—each window felt like looking at a postcard, with stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding nature. Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

hosts were very welcoming and friendly. the cabin was amazing and very private. a perfect getaway with a backwoods feel. the bed is comfortable and was very warm despite the cold weather. would book here again!

We had a cozy and comfortable time at Ryan’s conveniently central home. It was well-equipped with lots of room to spread out while visiting. Beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. Kitchen had everything we were looking for! Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

The setting is beautiful; very peaceful without feeling remote. The renovations done to the farm house are tasteful and the home is beautifully decorated. All appliances are new and easy to use. Kitchen is well equipped. There are several options for eating: dining room, kitchen stools, screened in patio, outside. The living room was comfortable and includes a working wood fireplace. Johanna was extremely proactive in providing information and asking if all was as expected. As a small group of longtime friends this was exactly what we were hoping for. There was lots of common space, individual bedrooms, good internet connection. Would be very likely to rent again if/when we were to go to this area again.

The airbnb so nice we had to visit it twice! My friend and I have stayed at Roger & Julie's cottage twice in the last two months to get a full appreciate of Ontario winters and have close access to Algonquin & Silent Lake provincial oarks. Everything was perfect, and the hosts very kindly came to plough the driveway twice during February's second storm. Great hosts, great cottage and great location. 11/10, would recommend!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

A great retreat for a New Year’s nest. Loved the hot tub in the snow - and the bunkie! Very relaxing, comfortable. You should organize your food supply carefully though as it would take about 2 hours (40 min to Foodland, 40 min back and 20 min shopping). We were fine as we had brought lots of food with us. Also, the walls between the two bedrooms are very thin, so if you have a snorer….Otherwise, a wonderful property!!

We had a great stay! The place was cozy after a day of skiing. Would stay here again.

Me and my family choose this place for my daughter's 2nd birthday. walking distance to the village. I recommend this place if you want come to Blue Mountain Village. host is One chat away always responsive. We will comeback here for sure.

Amazing house, felt like home immediately! Super comfy beds and sofas, great design, very good kitchen. We spent a great time and would definitely stay at Adam’s place again!

Excellent place by a fantastic host. The place was clean, well located and has everything you would need such as kitchen utensils, games + TV, and plenty of clean quality towels. Ulana and Amir were also very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

We had a fantastic stay at Jason and Tanya's condo. They were very helpful and extremely responsive the entire time. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and accessible to the Blue Mountain village (10 minute walk). We would highly recommend staying here and the next time we visit Blue Mountain we will definitely book with Jason and Tanya again. 10/10!

A quiet gem. Private with a beautiful forest view. The perfect winter getaway. Pristinely clean and all the amenities a family of 4 would need. Ski in and out access is a plus (snow dependent). My family plans to return.

A lovely stay in Blue Mountain with my family for new years! Greg was extremely communicative and was always quick to respond with any inquiries. The location is walking distance to the village and the neighbourhood had the most friendliest people. We felt right at home and Greg's place had all the right amenities for our family's needs. We will definitely come back here for our next stay in Blue!

Immaculately clean, spacious, and Beautiful condo. It had everything we need and a few steps to the marina. Easy instructions to get inside and parked. I highly recommend!
