What a great, character-filled stay in Melrose. We were going to camp but it was looking a bit hot for early November so we found this place. The kids couldn't believe their luck! comfy beds, very clean, the aircon in the upstairs loft sleeping area came in handy in the late afternoons. Right near a cute park where we cooked a bbq for dinner. Very basic kitchenette as advertised. Wonderful creaky old barn. We will definitely be back. thanks Alan.

The place is located in a quiet suburb. We had a great time with kids and enjoyed the pool. The house has everything you need during holidays, I would highlight comfortable beds in all bedrooms. Communication was great. Would highly recommended this place.

The place looked just like the photos, and the inside was incredibly clean. We could use the gas barbecue, and when we needed help with it, the host was quick to assist us. We even got to meet his family, who were all lovely, especially the adorable kids. Our privacy was completely respected, and the peaceful, beautiful natural setting was perfect. There were quite a few flies due to the weather, but it wasn’t a big issue. If you're looking for a unique experience and a peaceful escape, I highly recommend this place!

Jen provided detailed information on how to access the property in advance and all was clear and easy to understand. The house itself is exactly as described and photographed in the listing. In addition Jen responded very quickly to all communication. It was our first visit to Port Augusta and we chose it both as a place to stay between Adelaide and the Flinders range and because we wanted to play the local golf course. As such it was ideally suited and we were actually able to play two rounds at the super friendly PAGC. Many thanks Jen.

Bunk on Brewery- Newly renovated family home

Stayed 2 nights over New Years. Nice place, super relaxing atmosphere. We had 3 couples, worked perfectly for all of us even with the one toilet. Nice brewery only a few minute walk away to chill out, have a beverage and pizza.

Great place to stay only 25 mins out of Whyalla. Way better value for money than staying at the caravan if travelling with a group of people. Everything you need from Kayaks, BBQ and a fish cleaning station. Amazing location, particularly when the tide is up it is magic! In the process of swapping to ducted air con throughout the home, not having a working split system in one of the rooms wasn’t great for a couple of hot days however. Aside from this everything was great. Will visit again!

Mundoora manor was easy to find, Louise sent clear instructions for access. The house was amazing, we loved the huge comfy bed and the leather recliners. The kitchen and dining area was nice, the pantry had the essentials (long life milk, coffee pods etc.). The outdoor area was very large and relaxing. Pt Broughton was only a 10min drive away for pub, supermarket and take-away. We had a fantastic relaxing few days and will definitely be back again.

Harding Homestead is worth more than five stars and even more incredible than the photos. Thank you so much Tracy and Paul for being the perfect hosts. We really appreciate how accommodating, flexible and responsive you were and for providing such a gem of getaway. This was our first little family holiday with a toddler in tow and it did not disappoint. From being able to feed and interact with the beautiful horses, to unwinding on the porch with a bbq while listening to all the birds and walks around the property, Harding Homestead is truly a very special property. It was so quiet, private and peaceful and like many other reviews, we wished we had stayed longer. Thank you so much.

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a local wedding. The house was beautiful with high quality linen, bathroom products and delicious food for breakfast. Loved the home made chutney! The house was super clean and thoughtfully presented. Also had everything you could need from teapots to a piano! It has a quirky layout but for a group of longtime friends we loved it. Can’t wait to come back in winter when we could try the fires out.

The old beautiful homestead had all the lovely parts of a big country, family home but with well done modern updates and conveniences. Lots of room for a big family and also great cosy areas. Plenty of wild life (birds, kangaroos, lizards and we were even lucky enough to see a snake - that went on its way quickly). We took advantage of the pizza oven that was easy to use. We would highly recommend!
