The scenery of Tinna’s place is so stunning, surrounded by snowy mountain. The kitchen is very well equipped and really appreciate the heated floor and additional portable heater. Tinna is also very responsive to message. I would recommend this place if you are going to Seyðisfjörður.

A quiet sanctuary set out in the middle of a farm. This place is for those who want to isolate. We felt very comfortable and at home. Everyone said they could easily live there. Rooms were clean and ready. Bathroom was spotless. The kitchen had all the basics. If you're in the area and simply want solitude, this is the place for you.

Beautiful and peaceful setting, impeccably clean and comfy, very well stocked kitchen and bathroom. My husband and I had a wonderful weeklong stay in this spacious cabin. It's in a perfect location to explore east Iceland. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a peaceful remote location in comfortable surroundings this is the place. As described, it’s 30 km on a gravel road, and will be a bit difficult in winter weather, so don’t plan to leave the valley on a daily basis at those times. However, the atmosphere is part and parcel of this, and I’ll be glad to go back someday. Also, Oskar was very concerned and helpful about making sure we knew when road conditions were slippery, and was willing to hook us up with locals if we were concerned about getting out (which we were not).

We arrived in the middle of the night and the host came out right away and showed us around the house. They were very friendly and explained every corner of the house well. There were plenty of cutlery and towels in the house, so it was nice to use, and the warmth from the radiator came out and I was able to stay cozy. I'm carrying so many good memories:)

We liked the place very much, it is nice and quiet (we loved the rippling of the waterfall next to it) and you feel like home. It was very clean and everything needed was available. We saw beautiful aurora lights here. The way to the place was a little further, but we had no problems finding it. He was completely free with us and so it was easy for us to go there. The directions were great. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

It was the most lovable house in the lovely city. Even the road to the curry house was romantic. A fairytale village view from the road that served as a movie backdrop. Clean and cozy house ~ I think I'll choose this place even if I come back.

This was my second accomodation while staying in Iceland and appreciated the level of hospitality that they offered. The space had a great lived-in and comfortable feel and was beautiful with the amount of light that the windows let in. They offered great local insight to the area and it was clear they accommodate a wide range of types of travellers. Though I didn't make use of all the information and amenities, I appreciate the thought behind it. There were many personal touches that make it that much more memorable. I especially appreciate them messaging to make sure check in went alright.
