Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mukono

A breathtaking home surrounded by nature in the hills of Makindye with staff who embraced us and took great care of us. A memorable month at Amaka Ada and honestly WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!! The photos do not do it justice but every space within the home is designed with purpose and we loved how it brought us all together. The seating areas are cosy and encourage togetherness alongside relaxation. Some of my favourite moments were sitting on the patio reading a book whilst listening to the birds. The place is kept immaculate by house manager, Thembo who was always one step ahead when it came to our needs. I am single mum to a toddler and this is the first place I’ve been able to truly relax as the house is extremely spacious and my son could run around safely and explore the large garden whilst also sometimes playing with the very cute cat, Chappati. Geoffrey curated an incredible menu daily so we were always well fed. Great communication all the time and we plan to return!!!!!!

Just heaven in the middle of a hustling capital city and the perfect place to relax after busy day.

A peaceful, quiet, relaxing home away from home

From the moment you enter the compound, the guard greets you warmly and directs you on where to park. Doreka and her team are ready to welcome you and oh what a warm welcome it is. The compound is immaculate! The penthouse is extremely beautiful both inside and out. There is no picture we managed to take that will do this place justice. The pool is exclusively for the penthouse guests and Doreka is willing to make arrangements so that you can use it at all times. On our first night we had dinner by the pool and our wonderful host even gave us extra dishes for serving. Our stay was so enjoyable, we were afforded all the privacy we needed and yet Doreka was still always around when we needed her. She even baked us the most amazing treats. Additionally, on the days leading up to the stay she was extremely great at communication. If there is a level above superhost, she should be the first to receive it!! Did I mention the cleanliness of the place? It is very very very clean!

I love this apartment and the host is very cool and welcoming. The good thing about this apartment. Is that I booked it at the last minute and the host made sure that it was available for me. I booked a two hours in advance and I was able to show up and he was there with the keys and he’s very flexible. Another good thing about this apartment is that there’s hot water the apartment looks exactly like the pictures really felt like home. Will definitely stay there again when I come back to Kampala very comfortable bed and it’s a lot much bigger than it is in the picture. A lot of space.

The place is very beautiful, calm and mostly private. I love how the caretaker is 24/7 on guest’s service whenever you have any questions he is quick to come and answer! Everything went well however I know there was some small issue like Wi-Fi and it was out of the caretaker’s hands. We had to call Airtel to try to fix it. Overall I have enjoyed my stay at Hannah’s place very very clean place and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Kampala. I will be back soon to stay here again and again! We loved our stay at Toms house. The Island is a gem. Nothing but nature all around, the most beautiful birds.m The staff was so helpful and friendly too. We had the best time and will for sure come back.
