Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mukilteo

Amaris is very responsive and helpful and her house is so spacious, clean and well maintained. My kids loved being able to take bubble baths in the oversized tubs and so did I🙂 We also loved the roof top deck and the view was so beautiful especially at night with all the city lights. The beds and comforters were so cozy I want to buy some like that for my own bed! Another thing we loved was after a busy day we could come back to a very quiet peaceful neighborhood home and rest. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. Lighthouse roasters made amazing coffees and have a really great vibe. We cannot recommend Amaris and her property highly enough. Will be staying there again.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The place was exactly as described and even better than the photos let on. The place was spotless and the views were fantastic. Lots of detailed instructions and recommendations for things to do in the area. The only mild criticism I would have is that for a $220 cleaning fee we were expected to do much of the cleaning ourselves. We had to wipe all counters/surfaces, strip bed linens, etc. Happy to do these things as I like to treat AirBnb homes as if they are mine, with the greatest respect. However, that was a bit surprising considering the fee amount. Please know, that criticism is BEYOND minor bc the home was absolutely stunning and let me and my friends have a wonderful time in gorgeous surroundings. HIGHLY recommend!

I loved my stay at Sarah's Purple Cottage. Relaxing and Beautiful. The cottage was adorable and had everything I needed. The hot tub and private beach were both incredible.

Beautiful cottage with a beautiful view of Alki beach and the Olympic Mountains. The hot tub was a true delight. Inside, the house is cozy, well designed and very comfortable. It was a great place for staycation.

My second time visiting this cozy oasis (and hopefully not the last)! The cabin itself, outdoor tub and beach walks were everything I needed to regroup and recharge away from the hustle of life in the city. I was especially grateful for the ample supply of wood for the wood stove to warm up the space over the few very cold nights that I was there. Lisa is available for anything that might come up but also created a vibe of privacy while I was seeking solitude. Can’t wait to stay in one of the other cottages on the property with my husband! I’ve got my eye on the house on the bluff!! The views and soaking tub look amazing!!

The sweet cabin has a comfortable bed, windows in all directions that let in the soft forest light, and a hot tub for late night star gazing. Jim and Chris are lovely hosts. Their property is located fifteen minutes from town, yet feels remote. We were lucky to stay here. Thanks again!

At the very last minute, I decided to find a quiet oasis to finish this round of edits to my book. I wanted to begin the new year with this complete and poised for the next steps of my business. Much to my delight, Becky's amazing space was available. Becky communicates very well and responds quickly. In hours, I was set for our visit! The views are amazing. The space was cozy, serene, pup-friendly, and precisely what I needed to support my work. When it came time to unplug and replenish my energy, the front lawn, overlooking the water, was the perfect setting for fetch. If it was time to get away, many beaches were nearby, ideal for long walks by the water. This space is on my short list of places I want to revisit! Thanks Becky. I appreciate you!

The home was just perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, living space was conducive to family life, bright open atmosphere, safe and enjoyable.

Our stay began with a personal note and pastries from a local French bakery. The space was charming and homey. Renee was very responsive yet respected our space. We enjoyed the patio and garden area which was beautiful. Neighborhood was peaceful and walkable to nearby coffee shops. We left feeling like we made a friend.

A really nice little space to be cozy on a quick trip to the city! It was very private and the accommodation was very nice. Comfy beds, nice rooms, and fairly quiet. Would book again!

We stayed in this place for 52 days. It worked very well for our family of 4 and a small dog. It had plenty of beds, the sheets and towels were very nice quality. The place was roomy and we were comfortable. We missed having a TV in the upstairs because the dog was not allowed in the downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, silverware, utensils, etc. There was a gas grill that was nice and an extra propane tank for use when we ran out. It was a quick switch and we appreciated this. It was cold for the area when we were there and the heated kitchen floors and bathroom floors were amazing. There was plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles and a trailer. From the description it was unclear if we could use the garage which we could not. There were several doors to the outside with ample deck and patio area. We needed to extend our state a week and they were flexible for us which was helpful.

Cul-de-sac amidst gorgeous views and peaceful surrounds, if that is what you're looking for, along with a very accommodating host, look no further!

She was a wonderful host and it was very private and beautiful and very spacious for me and my boyfriend. A wonderful getaway!!!! And she brought us ice cream which was a wonderful treat!!!!

We've come back to Sunset Cottage many times, and relish the long walks on the beach. We used to only come in the summer, but have learned to love the cold weather and clear air in the winter as well. Walking on the beach and seeing the frost in the early morning light, with the Olympics clear and bold in the background, is awesome!

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Quiet larger clean apartment. I only used one of the two bedrooms (the larger one) - bed was comfortable, and it had the adjoining bathroom. there was a washer and dryer for my use and a full kitchen. Good communication to get to the location. Covered parking lot which I used. Location in unbeatable in downtown Bothell. I walked to a restaurant for dinner about 2 blocks max.

We had a lovely, quiet stay in Mukilteo at Daniel and Allegra’s place. It felt surprisingly private for a mother in law unit- we never did see our hosts, but they were responsive to our check in/check out messages. The studio was exactly as described and shown in the listing, clean, organized and well-provisioned. Only note would be that it’s not great for cooking with no stove/oven. There were hot plates but I found they took a while to warm and didn’t get hot enough for the cooking I’d planned. We managed, and we knew going in we wouldn’t have a fully equipped kitchen, just flagging for others who may plan on lots of cooking. There are shops, parks, and restaurants/cafes in walking distance, so plenty of alternatives! Overall highly recommend and grateful to our hosts for a nice retreat.

The condo was great in every way for our visit and for our purposes. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the large dining table (instead of the common, but ridiculous Air BnB bistro table that barely accommodates one person), and the good quality linens. Joyce was a great communicator until we checked-out, then I never heard from her again and was hoping to get a response to my messages. Joyce was able to coach me through the TV and DVD player's connections and was able to troubleshoot from afar. This was impressive! This property won't be available for long as it is being sold. That's too bad as we would love to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend Joyce as a property manager.

Ashley is a great host, she guides you through the experience from the moment you select her place until you say goodbye. Her apartment is very suitable for up to four persons with two large beds and comfortable space in the living and dining areas.

Emma’s place was wonderful, walkable to Pike Place Market and lots of other fun things to do and restaurants. Very well stocked with anything you could need, which is huge when traveling across the country, we will definitely be back!

Everything was AMAZING! House was fully stocked, super clean, beds were comfy and nice corner view of the water. A greeter was outside waiting when we arrived and helped us get all checked in. Location couldn’t get much better, walking distance to just about everything. Building itself felt very safe for being in downtown. On the note about downtown it is very loud, but that is to be expected. We had such a pleasant time. Gale was very responsive and helpful in every way. We would recommend to everyone!
