Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mountain View

Was a great stay. Loved the area. Great jumping off point for getting around the island while being in a “country” setting.

Very peaceful, clean, and not far from volcanoes national park. It's very secluded and quiet, so we had a blast freaking out our teenagers .

Fantastic accommodation for teams, great place to stay and Jason was extremely helpful.

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

My friends and I had the best stay here! Incredibly peaceful and private setting which had us feeling rested taken care of. Instructions were clear and place was filled with character. The hosts put a ton of effort into making the experience the best it could be!

We stayed 4 days here with extended family in the smaller home on the same property and it was great. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (larger group was 10 total) to spread out. The best part was the beach across the road with good snorkeling (stronger currents so be careful) and lagoon with turtles. Plenty of outdoor gear to borrow- SUP, kayaks, small boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel/fins. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect for families that want to explore this side of the island. Is very suitable for families that want to eat at home and have kids that need space to play. Our group had a very good time there. Suzy and the owner were very fast in helping us manage our response to the storm.

Great remodeled condo with a lot of new touches and comfortable beds . It was perfect for our girls trip . We had a great time . Joe and Cindy are very responsive and friendly

Perfect. I've never seen a hotel, hostel, Airbnb, etc., this is the perfect place to stay, including my own country. Disadvantages.. Obviously, but I'm very, very satisfied. On the downside, there's an issue that the host can't solve. If you don't walk around like a cat, footsteps will ring. Even though he's not a banger. It was a little difficult to be very careful not to cause damage. Even though my family is a relatively small and dry Asian, I think people with large statures will be very concerned.

The landlord Wayne is a very nice guy and was extremely helpful to us. The house is beautiful, and remote. Everything was clean and comfortable and it’s on a spacious property. I highly recommend this house for anyone who would appreciate a quiet remote location that is still readily accessible to Hilo and the volcano national Park.

Members of our family really enjoyed the stay, even with a group of seven, there was lots of privacy and everyone could do thier own thing.

Ginger was amazing! You could tell that she poured a lot of love into her unit to make it feel inviting, clean, and homey. There was ample space to spread out with the two of us. We enjoyed the fact that she engaged with us as much or little as we needed. The lush vegetation and rainforest noises made you feel like you were 20 miles off grid, with the sounds lulling you to sleep at night. If the sounds and space weren't relaxing enough, she is a pro masseuse and we indulged in one of her massages, which was excellent and helped to ease us into that relaxed aloha spirit. Just off the highway in a small community, the location is easy to get to and there is a local food market in the town appx 10 minutes away or the farmers market appx 10 minutes in the other direction. The rate was very affordable too, might I add. Mahalo nui loa Ginger for the wonderful time.

This was an awesome place! We loved our stay here and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip around the island. We were planning on getting out and doing more in Hilo while here, but decided to skip it and spend more time at the house and the beach.

We had a wonderful time staying at Kristen's place in Pahoa. She was such a great host. Very quick to respond to our questions and requests, provided great local tips, and an overall great person to get to know. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home on the east side of the Big Island, either for a few days or for a longer stay. Very comfortable with a big bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, and living room. Jungle living at its finest!

Hands down one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed at! It was perfect for our group of 7 and would have room for more. Amanda was a great host and the Airbnb was stocked with everything you could need for both enjoying the home and the local area. I only wish we could've stayed longer!

Had a great time in this private and peaceful accommodation. Ashley was very friendly and responsive and provided us with privacy and easy communication. This place provides a unique and relaxing glamping style stay. It rained very hard the first night and sounded beautiful as it’s an open air room but still felt very secure and everything stayed dry. After the rain the coqui were plentiful so it may not be for everyone but I found it to be soothing and peaceful. My only recommendation is maybe to hang a mirror in the shower room or in the kitchen/bathroom area. Mahalo for a great stay!

this was one of my first air bnb stays and it was great. The shower was fun! The kitchen also had all of your utensils and things needed to cook. It was close to everything and the owners responded fast if I had any questions

Private, quiet, spacious and comfortable. Clean with everything you need. Amy checked in with us to ensure we were happy and provided suggestions for sightseeing. We would definitely book it again.

Ivory was a great host and the place is as fabulous as it looks! It is very clean and makes you feel right at home. Ivory went above and beyond by accommodating our needs and was very responsive. Our family of 4 would definitely stay here again.

This place is just as pictured. The dome was really clean and very aesthetic. Fun place to stay with my family. The area is beautiful and lush. Had a nice little fire one night. Met one neighbor and he was very friendly. I would come here again for a true glamping experience.

Very nice host and great place to sleep overnight on the east side of the island. Beautiful area with peaceful wildlife songs at night! Nice and clean too!
