Holiday houses in Mount Wachusett

We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Tyler’s lake house is stunning, and we had a wonderful experience! The vibe was incredibly peaceful & calming, with breathtaking views of the water and mountain that made every morning feel like a retreat. Neighborhood was quiet and I felt very safe. Westminster is a hidden gem. I really love this area, perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle. Check-in was a breeze, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. One of my favorite parts was seeing how relaxed my dogs were in the backyard under the lights by the water. They loved it! It was the perfect spot for them to enjoy the outdoors while our family soaked in the tranquility. The king bed is appreciated! I can only imagine how wonderful this place is during the summer. If ur looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere, this lake house is the place to be. Plus the host is great! He checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and we were. 😃Thanks again!

Matt’s home was extremely cozy and had everything we needed to relax during our long weekend. They were even kind enough to leave some baby items for our 6 month old. We look forward to retuning!

I stayed here this past Friday and I have to say the place was amazing! The host goes above and beyond from having a bin with toiletries to use, to being very easy to communicate with. The place is exactly as they describe it and I intend to stay here again someday. If you’re questioning if you should book or not, stop right there and just book it. I can only imagine how amazing the place must be during the summer.

I cannot rave enough about our stay. The home was perfect for my family that came all the way from Puerto Rico for my sister’s wedding. The home is not specifically promoted for kids, however, the fact that the home was free of clutter, and nothing breakable made it that much more peaceful for parents. The lake is literally right there and a wonder to wake up to in the morning with coffee. With all the hustle and bustle from a wedding it was the perfect retreat to relax. We plan on staying again!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Phil’s place was a great choice for the weekend! Plenty of room for the amount of people we had. Beautiful property right on the water. Spacious living room to hang out in. Everything was clean and tidy. There are also restaurants and things to do nearby! Would recommend.

Todd was so great to work with. Extremely responsive and helpful! His place was so cute, very clean and very well appointed. It has everything you could ever need and very organized. We rented it to ski at Wachusetts and it was great location( only 15 mins away). We would rent again. Thank you!

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!
