House holiday rentals in Motupipi

We had a wonderful weekend with extended family, there was plenty of space for all our 9 quests. 8 adults and 1 infant. There are so many different spaces to chill out or to be together, sadly too cold for the pool but maybe next time. The house had everything you need and it made our stay so easy. Thanks again

We had an idyllic two weeks here, exploring on foot, by car, and rented e-bikes. Easy access to a great network of bike trails (the Great Taste Trail). An easy walk to 2 brewpubs and other restaurants and an excellent Thai massage location. Go east to Havelock for mussels or west to Abel Tasman NP for a Waka paddle or beach time. Back home we would relax in the private hot tub, enjoy the TV and cook in the well stocked kitchen. The accommodation was spotless, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing time. The host was always responsive and provided lots os suggestions for sights, shopping and restaurants.

An amazing place to stay with our whānau. We loved the entire house and would definitely look to stay again. Everything was high spec and we really didn’t have any need to leave. Pool was heated, spa was good on the cooler days and we had so much fun.

Great 1950s style beach bach. Stunning location. The perfect place for a winter or summer family holiday. Loved the spacious living areas indoors and outdoors - it easily accommodated youngsters playing, to parents and grandparents relaxing, altogether. Lots of games and books for all ages. We loved using the kayaks on the inlet.

Nicky was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully maintained with lovely furniture and pool with plenty of amenities such as pool toys, great coffee selection, very helpful instructions all around the house. Comfortable beds and couches. The house was very clean with beautiful sliding doors bringing in the cool breeze. The house is 6 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the beach and parks. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds in each room which cannot be seperated and there are no sofa beds. Hence the place could be too small for 2 adults and 2 adolescent children. however, Nicky did mention that she could sort an additional bed if requested ahead of time. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling as a couple, family or friends.

We really enjoyed staying here. The place is very spacious, superb kitchen, so peaceful and quiet. Even had a plum from the tree in the garden. :-)

Great house! Plenty of space and you really can't beat the location. The serenity and privacy of Monaco Peninsula and a short drive to Nelson City, the beach, Rabbit Island. Plenty to do! If you're looking to get away from it all, and also have access to plenty of activities and day trips, this is your place.

James and his family have a real gem of an airbnb. The trails out on Farewell Cape and Spit are wonderful. The Old School Restaurant is a hop and a skip just down the road a piece. About the same distance as the beach. Staying three nights was such a great part of our journey thus far. The cottage has a magical quality about it and really, you'll have everything you need, including the handy laundry in the garage. 5-stars all the way! Todd T & Ned L, Oregon & Minnesota, USA.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kareen’s lovely home. Location was perfect for our needs. Very quiet neighbourhood, great outdoor living and the property had everything that we needed. This was my first stay at an Air bnb and it surpassed my expectations. Thank you Kareen.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

We enjoyed our stay at Saskias place. Very clean, amazing views, great location. Beds were comfortable and shower good. The driveway was a little tricky to navigate at first, but if you are confident with backing then this is definitely the best way down the drive and it gets easier the more you do it.

Superb location and view across the bay, peaceful location which even provided enough entertainment for 3 teens! (with no wifi or TV) Hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. Being dropped off to complete the Northern Loop of the Abel Tasman track was a bonus and well worth the 5 hour effort. Highly recommend the property, the location and the many walks nearby!

We loved our stay at Ruby Bay. Vanessa was friendly and helpful. The house was quirky and had everything we needed.

This home was the perfect place to have as a base to explore Golden Bay. The heaters kept the place nicely warm, we enjoyed having 2 spaces with a table (teens watched movies, we played games in kitchen/dining). The sun rose right in front of the house- amazing way to wake each morning. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice being in a home that is used a lot as there were all the home comforts and nothing was missing. We had a 7m bus with us which parked nicely on the flat concrete pad outside the main doors. It was all easy and perfect. Only advice is to move your gear from car to kitchen with the kit hen lights off as we didn't think about this and the bugs around the outside light flew into the kitchen light in the 5 mins we had the door open and we had nothing short of 200 flies in there. They were not big flies and not biting flies. But still not ideal. To remove just leave outside light on and turn inside off and most will fly back out.

Very clean, welcoming and comfortable home ideally sized for a family stay. Erin had provided lots of local information including a great shortcut to get to the fabulous Java coffee hut. Lovely deck area complete with very clean bbq and umbrella. Plenty of fresh towels and a super equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great location being just a 10 minute walk to wharf for restaurants and shops and also close to a very well stocked and modern 4 Square. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The living space and bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. It was a great base from which we could explore Nelson. Mike was very responsive when we reached out, too.

An absolute GEM - both the home and Ina & her family! There is not a single thing I could fault them on, it truly is a gift to have them open their home for others to enjoy. With all the home comforts you need to stay in, and several cosy nooks to settle into both inside and outside, you will be hard pressed to leave the house (and that’s saying something because Nelson is a stunner). Hospitable and thoughtful hosts who communicated excellently and were so accommodating and lovely. This weekend getaway was so desperately needed and your home was the perfect place to disconnect from life’s busyness and truly relax. What a place! The Takaka Hill Bach was, by far, one of the best places we’ve stayed in. The house had everything we needed, including a very fast Starlink internet connection. It was comfortable, tidy, and very clean, and the view was breathtaking. There were a bunch of wild wekas around the house that used to sing and visit us during the night. There are a few tracks on the property that you can enjoy, and if you’re lucky (like I was), you may see a wild deer or a few goats wandering in the bushes. Joe and Victoria made sure we were comfortable, and we will, for sure, come back. Thank God we found this place!

My partner and I loved this place. We felt right at home. The hosts were very responsive to our requests.
