Thank you Trudie for an amazing week! Jules is a gem of a manager, so helpful, resourcefull and friendly! We felt like it's was our own place, just in a MUCH MORE AMAZING SETTING! Despite the political turmoil in the country at the time of our visit, everything was still so well run and enjoyable! Antonio who looked after the place for us every day is another super star! Even the security were friend, helpful and always on duty to make us feel safe and sleep sound at night! Your place is so pristinely located that I sat in awe every early morning and drank in the beauty with my morning coffee ☕! Thanks again for everything. PS: to anyone considering staying at Farrol de Bara, DO IT, you will never forget the amazing experience!

This rental home is probably one of the most unique that we have ever experienced. Incredible natural beauty, gorgeous views, refreshing outdoor bathrooms, etc. Felt like we are in nature while having the luxuries of civilization. Truly a memorable stay. Dave and his crew are helpful and accommodating. If we ever get out to Tofo again, we would love to stay here for an even longer duration.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The stunning beach view and perfect location made it easy to walk everywhere. The house itself was beautifully designed, offering everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. João and Helena were incredibly kind and always went above and beyond to help, making sure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their warmth truly added to the experience. Markus, our main contact, was also very responsive and checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. I absolutely and highly recommend this place!

We very much enjoyed our time at Roxanne and Lynne’s place! The apartment is spacious and equipped with most things you need. Although the hosts live in a smaller house in front of this house there is a sea view and you can walk directly down the beach, which is a beautiful and quiet part. The best part were the beautiful sunsets. Lynne and Terrence are very communicative, attentive and helpful hosts, who also gave us many recommendations about places in the area and helped us get fresh seafood. All in all, this place is great value for money.

Kaya Bahari is exactly the dream it is depicted! Glorious sunrise and sunset views! 3 terrace/balconies of ocean views with direct beach access to a kind surf to swim and boogie board at! Close 20 minutes jaunt down the beach to town! All the amenities you could wish for and more! Diving at your doorstep almost (300-500 meters). Even drinking water from the borehole! Ultimately the joy of waking up to the view and natural breeze of the 3rd floor is absolutely amazing! Grateful for the fish and octopus connection delivered and prepared fresh. Abrigado Clare and David for sharing your piece of Tofo paradise!

Our stay at Simon’s was exceptional, the night guards were amazing and very helpful. The house was super clean and Simon was very flexible with everything and extremely fast at responding. Kitchen was fully equipped, so cooking was no issue. Beach was very close and the house has a beautiful rooftop, exactly like the pictures! 10/10 Airbnb, I recommend it to everyone :))

I cannot overstate how incredible this house is. The entire property is immaculate and beautiful from the large to the small details. It is obvious that care and detail went into every design and furnishing decision. Contrary to most Airbnb listings things were actually BETTER than the photos led me to believe. From the pool, to the kitchen, to the peaceful upstairs veranda with the comfortable couch for a sundowner, the entire place radiates peace and rest. I cannot image staying anywhere else in Tofo after this. Everything else just pales in comparison. Thank you to the entire team, Sérgio, Casey, Jorge, and Isabel for this space where my family can find rest from the stressful work we do in Maputo. We will be back!

This is an amazing house at a great location. A lot of days we didn’t even want to leave the house for activities as it is very relaxing to hang out on the porch, taking a dip in the pool, watching butterflies, taking fruits from the trees… We’ve had an amazing time!

Surfside Serenity: Private Beach House Near Town

Went to Tofu for a 2 week surfing trip and this place was great for what we needed. It's right on Torfiño beach so we could see the waves were good from the balcony and then a 2 minute walk to be in the ocean. It has the basics of what you need from a beach cottage. Lounge could be a little more comfy, particularly if you're a bigger group but you should rather be out and about exploring anyway. Angelique sent us a ton of useful information which was very helpful.

Monika's place was a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated place. With lots of plants and big sliding doors, it felt like the outside was being brought in. Monika was always available and communicative, with great local knowledge. The walk to the beach was a bit of a distance away, but once you get to know the pleasant routes over the dunes, it's nice. Be prepared for some cardio and a bit of a work-out, though! The house is spacious and beautiful, and makes for a great "long-stay". Monika is a wonderful host. Oh, and be prepared to drive "off-the-beaten track", and stock up with essentials to avoid daily trips into town.

I had a great time staying at Jan and Samantha’s cottage in Tofo. It was cozy and clean and I loved the outdoor kitchen area and the outdoor shower. It’s located in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from the centre of town, but you can walk most of the way along the beach, which is really nice. Thanks for everything!
