Beachfront holiday rental in Morro Bay

Beautiful slice of heaven. Soak in the sounds and smells of the ocean while relaxing in the sun at this awesome house. Couldn’t ask for a better location. If you are looking for some peaceful serenity near all kinds of beautiful nature than this is your spot!

We loved this place and would return again! One of our favorite things about it was the 2 large windows which provided an “amazing” view of the ocean where we could watch the rolling waves and catch a sunset. A large side window also gives a view of the ocean and a beautiful cypress tree with Morro Rock in the background. There’s a public stairway to the dog friendly beach just steps away. The lovely downtown just minutes away by car had several nice restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, specialty stores and a beautiful pier. Morro Bay is 4 miles south and Cambria is 18 miles north, which makes Cayucos the perfect location.

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

Perfect location for our weekend plans. Hearst Castle 25mins away. SanLuis Obispo 20 mins away, Morro Bay 3 blocks walking distance. Cozy and quaint, nice neighborhood. Reasonable rates

Kit was a wonderful hostess. Fast to respond to questions, suggested things to do. The place was very comfortable, small which was nice as it was easy to move around. Would definitely stay with Kit again.

Rental company was very communicative, house was very clean and well stocked. Very pleasant stay and loved Morro Bay! Visit the state park: golf, canoeing, hiking etc.

This home met our every need. We enjoyed a relaxing, comfortable stay, it was like home away from home. It was the perfect size for two. Centrally located to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and wine tasting, as well as local sites. I eat an entirely plant based diet so I especially appreciated the fully functioning kitchen with proper pots, pans and knives.

Relaxing home in a beautiful location. Walkable to shops and eateries and steps to the sand.

This was full service location, not a typical airbnb within a Hilton Vacation location, this was a fun shift to our typical home stay bookings. You would have access to a pool, hot tub, fire pit at night, small onsite honor bar, concierge, 24 hour staffing with elevators and restaurants walking distance and an amazing view of the beach at this location. A huge plus is this stay is right on Avila Beach so it felt very much like a vacation for the family even though we were there to move our daughter into Cal Poly adding a special ambiance to our stay.

We had a great time staying at the RV! It was clean, fit 2 people and a small dog easily. It was easy to get in and out and explore the Pismo Beach area.

Great location, right on the beach. We upgraded our room when we checked in and were glad we did so. The fireplace got the place nice and cozy. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing was also nice.

The condo was in a great central place for us to go to multiple different towns and beaches in the area. Having the reserved parking space was a huge plus. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and overly friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.

I would stay in this home again. Steps to the beach. Peaceful and serene, with views of the beach and pier. Excellent host. Place is clean and well taken cared of. All amenities were provided and more.

We always know we are getting a great deal for a super nice place when we book with Amber. We have stayed in several of her properties and each one is great! Our favorites are closest to the beach. The beds are high quality and very comfortable. The location is great, close to the beach, a park and several restaurants. The rental is clean and equipped with everything we could need to make our stay enjoyable. She even includes sand toys and beach chairs to use. She’s always just a text away with great recommendations too.

We had 6 sleep comfortably using the air mattress. We did host dinner for 13 comfortably. Shower pressure was good. Hot water was always present. Had good laundry and dryer machines. Clean place. Convenient location. Can walk downtown in 10 minutes and to the beach in 5 minutes. Check in was easy. I think there was a hiccup because we didn’t receive the door code prior to check in. However, I was able to text Newell, and he called me back with the code. Newell was quick to help us with other minor things to help make our stay enjoyable. One thing to add on is easier access to netflix and amazon prime. The Smart TV only works with Samsung phones. We had to do a hack to connect a laptop to the TV and then use the internet wifi to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. However, this was a minor issue. We loved using the fireplace! We left items behind accidentally, but Newell allowed us to get them. Overall we had a 5 star stay, and we had a memorable and warm time.

We felt right at home during our three-day stay at Patricia's place in beautiful Cambria. The house is spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. We loved the layout, which easily accomodated us (two couples) with a great deal of privvacy and very much appreciated the lovely view of the sea from the living room. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with dishes, cutlery and cooking untensils, so preparing breakfast - and the one dinner we prepared "at home" on our first evening - was a breeze. We found the location of the home to be very central to all the activities we enjoyed in the area. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to return again sometime next year.

Incredible location! Wonderful accommodation! Helpful host! Best place we've ever stayed. We felt at home the second we walked in and throughout our stay. The cottage is outfitted with everything you need to cook, relax, realign with nature, and peacefully sleep.

We came to California 49 years ago and have been coming to Cayucos many times. We were lucky enough to secure this rental home on the beach again. The November weather was spectacular, the moon was full, our daughter drove over from Las Vegas and as retirees we had a wonderful relaxing fun 7 day visit. We will visit again.

The location was beautiful - right on the lake with friendly people and lots of dogs and a park right nearby. Barbara was an amazing host - the best host ever. I gave the listing overall a 5 star rating because of how responsive and kind Barbara was & the location was amazing. I was not told the space was a trailer. Also, I specifically asked prior to booking if it was a private, enclosed backyard. It was not private- it was semi-private. It was shared with the loose chickens (= lots of chicken poop and flies) and host. This was disappointing. The bed was extremely comfortable. However, if I were taller than 5'5", I would not fit in the double bed. The bathroom had a nice bidet - but warm showers were 6 min or less. Plus if you are tall you won't fit. Overall, it was a cozy trailer with almost everything you would need to be comfortable. But it was more like glamping. I adjusted and did have full access to the house as well but that wasn't my intention when booking.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night on our road trip up the California Coast. It was such a cozy and cute spot, exactly what we were looking for! The bed was especially comfy and we loved enjoying a wine at the outdoor fire pit in the evening. Could not recommend this spot more.

The house was exactly as pictured and described. So often the house/backyard/common areas are a lot smaller than pictured. The sheets/towels/furniture were very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating in asking questions. The backyard is huge and had a grill and a fire pit that me and my guests thoroughly enjoyed. There was exceptional amount of parking at the house. Minutes walk to the beach.
