House holiday rentals in Morningside

We had a lovely stay at Colleen’s place. The house is huge and a had lots of spaces to chill and relax, including a very sunny and warm patio overlooking the garden and swimming pool. All the amenities you need and more including a pool, gym and children’s playground and Wendy house. Our five year old loved it. We also appreciated being able to pick spinach fresh from the garden on occasion. House has solar so we hardly ever felt the load shedding going on and if there was an issue Ntate Joe was helpful and very responsive to kick up the backup generator. Only issue we had was with mosquitoes. We stayed over the summer and they tended to buzz about at night, which made sleep disruptive. But once we got some peaceful sleep mosquito plug in units it helped, so would advise to get some if you’re staying when weather is hot. Overall would highly recommend for families looking for a spacious, well equipped and eco-friendly home.

If you not from Johannesburg, then I definitely recommend you stay here . The host is super helpful, and it's extremely safe aswell . There's nothing more frustrating and scary then staying in a place that you are not from . Luckily the host is always around, she has the best breakfast, lunch and dinner venues on the fridge , she also checks up on you (daily if you are as needy as I am ) . The house is extremely beautiful, she also supplies wood for fires, all cleaning supplies, including laundry detergents . Beautiful room and lovely bedding , let's not talk about her lovely carpets( especially the gorgeous tiny one ,she has placed in room two , that I thought twice about stealing ). . She truly Loves her home and her guests. ... ps pack your bathing suit because not only does she have the most beautiful garden, she has a lovely pool (supper clean ) .

We picked Marten's place primarily for the back yard and it didn't disappoint! The kids loved the pool and trampoline as well as the play structure and lots of well maintained open grass areas to run and play. The house was great as well, particularly the open living space. Brave was always available at a moment's notice to clarify anything required. Would definitely book again. Thanks

The home was beautiful and had everything that was listed. It was comfortable, clean and felt very much like home. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood so it was a peaceful getaway. Charmaine was very responsive and helped with any questions or needs we had. I left a very happy guest :)

Leah & AJ are excellent, hospitable and accommodating hosts! They did everything for us to make us feel home at their beautiful house! They truly go for the extra mile and are taking very good care of their guests. The house is spacious, tasteful decorated and child friendly. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful house and lovely hosts!

The place met and in some ways, exceeded expectations. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful and convinient area. Craig is an accommodating and responsive host, always looking to cater to his guests. It's located in a prime area. I would recommend Craig and his place to anyone looking to stay in a pristine location, surrounded by ammenities, restaurants, nightlife, etc.

Peter’s place is a gem in Bryanston, centrally located, peaceful, gorgeous, well appointed, it’s our new home away from home. THE EVERYTHING was spotless and well maintained. The grounds are huge, outstanding for 3 teenagers to shoot hoops, play soccer, huge pool, fantastic braai area and amazing indoor/outdoor living area. Peter was sincerely the best host ever, very reliable, accommodating, addressed all our needs with grace. Truly our home away from home, Peter’s place has our highest recommendation, thank you Peter, see you again soon!!!

The house was very cosy, spacious and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and a toddler. We didn't spend much time at the house but would have liked to spend some time in the garden and pool which were both very inviting. Poppy, the housekeeper was a star! She was very friendly yet professional and extremely helpful. The location was close to where we wanted to be(tourist attractions such as the Apartheid Museum, Sandton and Rosebank) and the neighbourhood was very safe and peaceful. We would choose to stay here again if the opportunity arose.

I loved LOVED staying with Ingrid! This is the only place I'll ever stay at if I ever stay at Joburg! She was an amazing host, and her place was so comfortable, clean, and I felt so at home! More than worth than price and I can't recommend her enoguh!!

Firstly, shout-out to the house manager Tshidiso. He made our stay the best. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Tshidiso was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful, yet close to all the main attractions. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect and felt like home away from home. Our flight to South Africa was delayed by 15 hours and we contacted Steve as soon as we were aware of the delay. Steve was extremely responsive and bent over backwards to assist. We ended up checking in at 4am the next morning and can't thank Steve enough for being available at that time to let us in. He even went so far as to provide coffee, tea, milk and some biscuits :) which was really appreciated. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommended.

Would definitely stay again! Plenty of space for my family. We loved the yard with the hammock & braai. Each bedroom has a bathroom, plus a powder room. Kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to cook. Agnes was very friendly. The property is shared but felt very private as it is blocked off from her place. Safe neighborhood. Walking distance to nice restaurants and shops.

Thank you for a lovely, comfortable stay. The place was very clean and homely. Our children loved the trampoline and the jungle gym outside. The rooms were spacious, and the aircons made the stay very comfortable during the hot and humid JHB January. Highly recommend this stay.
