This stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very kind and made us feel extremely welcomed. The house was also a great deal and very clean. If we are ever back we will definitely stay here again!

I think it is by far the one tower of the accommodation I have stayed in while traveling. The incredibly spacious room and living room stood out the most, and the kitchen, yard, and bathroom were really beyond my imagination. It was also fantastic to see the Pacific just a short walk away. If you enjoy around Shizuoka, this is a highly recommended room.

The location was out of the way and completely peaceful and private. The host was present in the main room and available when needed. Great rooms, family room, kitchen, balcony, views, bedrooms, onsen, ping pong table, fire pit, etc…. I would recommend this for a multi-day tranquil retreat.

This place is magical. The house is just gorgeous and relaxed, set in beautiful countryside. Dai is the best host we’ve ever met. He offered tons of advice and was very helpful. The bamboo weaving workshop was educative and chilled. Really recommend a visit to the onsen! Thank you so much for our perfect stay- we should have stayed longer!!!

kotomis place is fantastic 2 story home. it was a bit of a walk from the train station but overall, very easy to navigate to. Had everything you need and the indoor tub was amazing to use. very happy and will look to book again if I'm around Shizuoka.

The stay at Gaku's cabin was lovely. We stayed with my family and several small ones included. It is located in height with a magnificent view of the mountains, we unfortunately could not see the Estrellado sky since we had rain and snow. The cabin is in a strategic place if you want to tour and get to know the nearby towns for which you will need private transport. We had direct communication with Gaku's parents who were very friendly and ready to help with what we needed. I recommend it 🙏

Loved our quick stay here. House is clean & spotless while having all the things we needed to feel right at home. The place has character and is decorated well, doesn't feel like some heartless airbnb unit, feels like a home. Very much appreciated that! Steps from the beach Comfortable onsen bath Nearby supermarket Friendly and helpful hosts I'd definitely stay again if I'm ever in this neck of the woods. Cheers!

As you can see at night, please take a photo of the entrance and the house.I really hunted for about 30 minutes. Also, please include a photo of the mailbox to return the key. After that, there was no body soap, so other facilities and facilities are lined up. There was a carcass of mantis in the towels for the rental, so it would be helpful if you could be careful in the future. Other than that, I was very satisfied. It was a private space and the barbecue was the perfect place. I look forward to seeing you again when I'm nearby.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents. The images were 100% accurate. The property is brilliant. The hosts built it themselves and it makes it that much more special. Waking up to that view every day was so calming and made me cry with how at peace I felt. You feel so connected to the mountains, the water, Mt Fuji. All of it. We bought groceries from Shuzenji before we took a taxi to the property. They have bikes you can ride around town. Definitely go to the beach, you will see Mt Fuji on a clear day and the water was so pretty, like a beach in Greece. A big plus was how responsive and welcoming the hosts were. They really created something special here. ☺️😋 I will be coming back the next time I’m in Japan.

To start things off- my family and I wanted to stay in a traditional style Japanese home. This one popped up and the view alone was too good to pass up. Mai was very quick to respond to any questions, concerns, or updates we had even before arriving in Japan while we were still in America. Aside from being the sweetest soul we had met throughout our entire trip through Japan, Mai was a huge help with local recommendations and getting around. Being a much smaller town compared to Shinjuku & Osaka, where we came from, it was a lot harder to get taxi’s and such. Mai offered to drive us to some of the places we wanted to see while near Fuji, and even got us to the train station given the size and amount of our luggage. She also offered a traditional tea ceremony after the grand tour of the property. It goes without saying that I cannot recommend this home enough for those wanting to experience what the town has to offer, while having the most phenomenal view of Mt. Fuji.Will be back!

Me and my wife stayed 3 Nights at Sanso‘s place, during our roadtrip to Japan. We loved the peaceful Environment, far away from all the Tourists. We felt right at Home and even though its a Little Bit outside of the Tourist area, there is plenty to explore with a rental car. Best thing was the view of blooming cherry blossum‘s from our balcony.
