Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montcalm County

Haven was a fantastic private getaway for our family of 4. The lakeside view on the deck made for the most relaxing start and end to every day. The house was fully furnished with everything we could need for the week. Food, drink and clothing were the only things that we needed to provide for ourselves. We had one day of solid rain, but with good WiFi, games, a cozy living room and a nice kitchen, we were perfectly content just relaxing inside.

We had an awesome family weekend. This is the second year we have gathered here. It was great to see the house continues to provide our family a safe, clean, and fun place to gather. Paul always communicates right away and we experienced a great check out process with our family leaving at different times to travel back home.

Our second time here, so we felt super comfortable. Brought the dog this time and had a great time despite the extra busyness of a holiday weekend on the lake.

The Cottage at Mann Lake is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed here for many years in a row. It is our annual "ice fishing" trip, in which we don't always fish anymore since there is always fun to be had inside. Another great weekend spent at the cottage!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our winter stay at Swan Cottage on Lake Wabasis. This hosts, John and Frank, were very attentive and lived a few doors away. The cottage is very well appointed, in the kitchen especially. A fire pit was expertly prepared to withstand some rain and l lit right up with starter blocks provided. For the Christmas holiday the cottage was filled with holiday decorations, 10+ variants of Santa Claus, 15-20 variants of Christmas tree. The lake was quiet and pretty, even iced over. The cottage is very dog friendly. The wood burning fireplace is pretty but it’s worth noting, it isn’t for guests to use. Overall, we recommend!

Super cute cabin! Went for a girls weekend in, the kitchen and living room spaces were exactly what we were looking for. Passcode door was easy to use. Short walk to crystal lake beach.

This place is so beautiful! We had a family get together, and the house was just amazing! It had three nice big bedrooms with plenty of room for the entire family. There was a big game room downstairs, and toys for the kids. Big, beautiful windows in the kitchen to look out on the lake in the cold weather. The beds were so nice, and everything was set up beautifully! There was even a gigantic Christmas tree set up in the living room. Talk about cozy, we wanted to stay there forever! We will be back!

The house was beautiful and spacious. It hosted our family of 12 perfectly. It had a nice loft area for when the kids wanted to be rowdy and a separated, but not secluded, dining space for any other activities. It also had enough bedrooms that you could get your privacy when you needed it. We had one minor issue (out of Troy's control) that he was quick to help us remedy. I would highly recommend staying here!

I booked the cottage on Little Blue Lake for a peaceful getaway for my wife's 40th birthday for 4 nights, and the cottage and amenities did not disappoint! The home was cozy and well furnished, warm in spite of sub-zero temps (Michigan in January!), and overall charming. The hot tub was also an asset, allowing us to warm up after outdoor activities. The cottage is well located and as private as can be given it's a lake house, while still being within 5-10 minutes of groceries and 20-45 minutes from breweries, activities, and restaurants in Rockford and Grand Rapids. In all, we had a wonderful time and will consider visiting again!
