Would definitely stay here again, we enjoyed our stay. Something to be said to be away from phones and internet. Was nice and peaceful, quiet neighbors.

Mary is an outstanding host! Our tiny home was just as described and pictured, and it was extremely clean. We had all that we needed for a comfortable stay - wonderful mattress and pillows, soft and warm blankets, and so much more. We brought our dog and Mary even had treats for him! The outside area is perfect for pets and humans alike with LOTS of space to walk and play. There is a fenced area for dogs to play and Mary has provided lots of dog toys and a doggie "teeter-totter." I wish we had been there in warmer weather to enjoy the screened gazebo and outdoor sitting areas more. The surroundings are so quiet and peaceful. Mary was very helpful and was super-responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better host. I had the chance to meet her and she is the sweetest lady ever. If you are travelling to Monroeville with a pet (or without!) and want a quiet spot to relax, this is it. Thank you, Mary - you are a jewel!

The fish camp on Maiben Lake road was a great place to stay for the holidays. Candy was very responsive as a host - answering questions within minutes. During our stay, there was severe weather and Candy reached out to check that we were ok. Cabin was clean, well laid out and peaceful. Would stay there again if there was the need. Highly suggest if you want a place to get away from it all.

My stay was great! The cabin was very spacious and cozy. It was very accommodating and was in a relaxing, quiet location. Communication was easy and with quick responses.

Kelly was a wonderful host who provided prompt and detailed responses throughout our stay. Her clear instructions made checking in effortless. The house was immaculately clean and felt like a home away from home. Kelly's thoughtful hospitality made our experience truly memorable.

This was our second time to spend Christmas at The Gem. We love it. We can have family spend the night or cook a meal for them or hang out watching tv or play outside. Very comfortable and inviting. Could have more serving and cooking utensils. We will book it again next Christmas!

We enjoyed our stay at Southern Oak. Wesley was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed. The grandchildren loved feeding and watching the longhorns. The house and grounds were like stepping back in time. It was definitely a Christmas experience to remember. The grandchildren are already asking to do it again next year. Thank you, Wesley!

A gem in Monroeville. Clean, new and fashionable. Nice large bed, stocked kitchen with new upscale appliances, great balcony, etc.
