House holiday rentals in Monona

Wonderful location for a family gathering. 10 of us stayed here at Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfy and our dog enjoyed the large yard. This was our second time renting this house and we would happily stay here again.

Jane responded fast to text messages. very kind, offered to tell about restaurants and local entertainment. I had an issue with the door ( operator error ) called Jane and she called me back to see if i was able to fix the issue, which was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure I reserve there again when I go back into town if available.

We had a great stay in Lisa’s place. We made thanksgiving dinner in the dream, extremely well equipped kitchen and our family of five was very comfortable in the rooms. The space is beautiful and very comfortable.

A beautiful, riverside home. It accommodated our group of nine beautifully. The living room furniture was very comfortable. We were not fans of the swear words on the bathroom wall hangings, but we took them down so the kids didn't see them. A heads-up for people with back problems that the master bedroom bed was the softest bed we had ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a marshmallow. All in all, a beautiful home.

This was our second time staying here and was such a great spot for our group of adults and kids. Enough rooms for everyone and lots of communal space to hang out together. The location was great for our visit to Cascade Mountain. Brittney was a friendly and responsive host and the whole process was a breeze. We’re looking forward to coming back again in the future!

Ed and Jamie’s place was just as described. This was the third time we have used the property, and it always meets or exceeds our needs! Appreciated the flexibility on checking in, and quick response to an alarm that was chirping — turned out to be a defective battery, and nothing to be concerned about, but would have been annoying. Thanks for everything — we look forward to our return to Janesville, and hope to stay at the Retreat again!

This house was incredible! There was tons of space, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought 4 children, and the layout of the house was perfect for naptimes. We were a 20 to 30-minute drive from skiing, restaurants, and other outings. We were there during an incredibly cold weekend, but we could imagine how fun it would be to stay there in the warmer months with the pool and outdoor area!

Very responsive, easy to work with. Enjoyed the hot tub and peaceful area.

Nice affordable place in a safe neighborhood.

The Cottage was a quaint, spacious and clean inside. It's in a beautiful area. The weather was very cold. We ventured out to a state park but only lasted for an hour. The hot tub was in a perfect location but was too cold for me to enjoy it. We're hoping to visit in the fall to enjoy the beautiful colors. It was perfect for our group to relax and rejuvenate.

The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

John's place was perfect for our visit to Madison. The location was great, easy access to all of Madison. His house was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well, we cooked several meals and had friends over for dinner. John communicated with us clearly and made our stay easy. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lori’s place was beautifully decorated and fun to look at all the treasures around the apt! Loved the office area..more than enough space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking meals there real nice. Mattresses and pillows were amazing….slept so good!! I loved the down comforter on the beds. Bathroom had great towels and very clean. The enclosed patio was cute and had table and comfy chairs to sit and relax. Cute outdoor patio area with a grill. Lori was quick to answer and flexible. Great place to stay!!

Brian is the perfect host: responsive, proactive and respectful of privacy. And if you’re looking for some peace and quiet with beautiful views, this is the perfect place.

Fred's place is just as advertised, a comfortable home to relax and live in. Fred is a wonderful communicator, ensuring we arrived safely, and checking in a few times during our stay. We were a little mystified by the multiple television controls, and he graciously called and walked us through it. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place. We were super comfortable. Great location. Could walk to everywhere we needed. Nice back yard. Great amenities…. Lots of room to sprawl out and relax. Great old house with lots of great updates. Carolina was a great host…. Would stay there again… THANKS & CHEERS!!!

Beautiful property and our host's were exceptionally responsive and accommodating. House was welcoming and stocked beyond our experiences with rentals. We will be staying again when we return to the area.

Really pleasant place to stay at, close to devils lake and the distillery nearby is a great place for dinner.

Lovely home, very picturesque. Plenty of room for 5 guests. We had an amazing time and already hope to come back!

I felt comfortable right away. Clean, recently remodeled, well stocked ,nice neighborhood. Christine was so helpful!

Steven and Rachel have a wonderful place going on, very thematic and extremely comfortable! The picture don't do the place justice, as it is genuinely much bigger than the pictures make it out to be. The common areas are spacious and clean and they have an old school theme that we really appreciated. The patio is also very large and comfortable to use, unfortunately it was cold enough to keep us from using it ha! The bathroom is clean and spacious as well and we found ourselves sleeping very comfortable in the bedroo. Location wise we think it is very much centered, very easy to drive anywhere from where the hotel house is located. Overall great stay!!

The stay was great for what my family and I are looking for to receive the new year and spend a few days of rest, we did not have to go out to buy anything as we carried everything and inside the house we had everything we needed to make our meals , everything clean, comfortable, cozy and spacious to be all in one place without feeling uncomfortable. The house I recommend it 100% very satisfied we are all

This is our 5th time staying at the farm. So obviously we feel this place is a must to stay at! We enjoy the peaceful county feel of being at the end of a dead end road. The quiet of the old farm. And the feel of being home away from home! We enjoyed the sunroom on the sunny days as it did help worm that little room up nicely with a small heater and the hot sun! This year our favorite part was listening to the old record on the record player! Being at the farmhouse for us helps us to stop, rest and we choose to take a step back in time unconnected the electronics and spend time together as a family. We read Narnia together, listened and danced to music, did puzzles and laughed as we enjoyed the care free days of our stay. Jeanne and Ralph and Matthew add special touches like snacks tea/coffee and a lovely decorations like the Christmas tree at Christmas time. Along with a clean home and all the regular things one needs that make the stay just wonderful!
