We have traveled to Blackhead for many years as a holiday destination. This was our first time in a holiday house. An amazing designed house with ample room for 8 adults who stayed. Awesome views of the beach / ocean from the outside deck. House location was convenient to access entertainment and essentials. Was able to take our dog which made our stay stress free. Communication with the host was excellent and we would definitely return again!

Kim was a fantastic host! She made us feel welcome and at home with her hospitality, down to the details of what style of pillow we preferred as well as leaving a handwritten welcome note with homemade slice and Christmas goodies for our children. The cottage was a beautiful home away from home for our Christmas getaway to visit family. It was charming, clean, and wonderfully stocked! Kim even had milk, eggs, cereal, and bread waiting for us on arrival. The cottage is within walking distance to a local coffee shop as well as Speers Point Park. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay; we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Beautiful modern apartment as seen in pictures. The apartment was described well, only 1 door to the children’s bedroom. All other beds are open living, this was a little challenging trying to get changed with 1 bathroom and a couple of teenagers. It would be great to have a couple of chairs on the balcony outside. Overall I would recommend this apartment, clean, convenient and Joanne was easy to deal with.

The place like home away from home. Clean and Carolyn and Russell are very friendly and helpful as first timer in the place. We really recommend their place to our family and friends. We still looking forward to come back and stay a little bit longer.

We stayed at Connie's place for a week (with dog) and it was a great base for all of us. It is a very large open plan unit that is comfortable, spacious and secure. It is a unique place to stay, furnished beautifully inside and out. The courtyards are enormous! The local area is fantastic - 2 minutes walk to the harbour front, restaurants, bars, tram ... everything is close by. Contact with Connie was easy, as was check-in and car parking. We'd be very happy to stay here again!

Mark was an exceptional host, only too happy to oblige and went that extra mile. Lovely welcome package including wine, nibbles and Easter eggs. Swimming pool very clean and welcoming. A pleasure to deal with Mark. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and at home.

Even though the weather wasn’t the best Lyn was a great host! Very responsive with flexible checkin. Kitchen filled with everything you would need for a weekend! Beautiful beach views and close to shops and restaurants.

Over the last decade I’ve stayed in 100s of Airbnbs with my staff for work purposes. This would rank in the top 10 for value and comfort. Also if Like us you had commitments across the road at the entertainment centre it’s a simple 200 m walk. Visiting Newcastle this is an ideal home away from home.
